July 18, 1991. East Australia.
Graysen was an ordinary boy.
He went to school, did chores, had pets and had fun.
One morning his life changed...
Graysen headed to his school grounds and immediatley found himself on the floor.
Dominic... That was him, he was sure of it.
That prick picked on him every day because of his "Weirdness".
Graysen himself didn't actually have anything weird wrong with him, he was just abnormal.
"Hey dork!" Dominic shouted.
Graysen went to turn away but Dominic grabbed him.
"Don't run away, we were playing!" he said stupidly
"With what? The ouji board?" Graysen replied snarkily
Dominic growled angrily. His parents had died because of a suspected snake bite last year.
"Pfft, whatever" Dominic replied.
Graysen was in the middle of history class when he saw movement outside his window.
The piercing grey eyes turned a deathly yellow as he hissed at the window.
The whole class was looking at him now.
His eyes returned the pale grey and he smiled sheepishly.
The bell rang and everybody quickly packed up.
Hallway of Woongarra State School, Bundaberg.
Graysen was bombarded with insults such as...
"Hiss Hiss! Snakey"
"Why dont you show us your fangs?"
and
"Coil up like the snake you are!"
That one really hurt.
"Hey Graysen!" greeted a familiar voice
He turned to find his friend, Zoe.
"Hey Zoe!" Graysen replied as politley as he could.
"I noticed-" She began
Zoe was interrupted by multiple owls crowding the cafeteria.
Everthing was chaos but through that a tall, black owl handed him a letter and a book before gliding away.
He read the cover of the letter, it read Hogwarts, School of withcraft and and wizardry.
He read the book cover, the name was engraved... it read...
'Death Note'.
