It happened one night_6 Sean and Emma had been broken up for a month and Sean was dating Ellie again, Jay and Sean had ended up fighting because Sean was constantly bringing Ellie around and sometimes Emma would be at Jay's with Aria and it was uncomfortable for everyone. One night after work the guys had wanted to go to a bar and relax after a hard day at work, Jay was drinking his beer when the bartender started flirting with him and Jay was flirting back with her, that night Jay and the bartender named Hannah went to Jay's apartment.
While Jay was at the bar Emma and Aria were playing with Aria's toys when Manny walked in and looked at them "Em I think we need to move in together?" Emma looked around and nodded her head "let's talk to Snake and my mom!" so they walked upstairs and talked to her parents about moving out.
Since there wasn't any school the next day Emma had dropped Aria off at daycare and Manny, Emma and her parents went to look for apartments, they had looked at several apartments but Manny or Emma didn't like any of them, on there way home they had drove by Joey's house and saw that he was renting it.
Snake pulled into the drive way and they all got out and Spike knocked on the door and Joey answered and smiled at them "what do I own the pleasure of having the Nelson/Simpson family stopping by?" Emma spoke up "well we were looking for apartments today since the basement was getting to crowded with three people living in it and we saw that you were renting the house and we were interested in renting it from you!"
Joey looked at Emma and smiled "let me call Caitlin and see what she says so Joey got up and called Caitlin and told her that Emma and Manny wanted to rent the house and she thought it would be a great idea, Joey had told them that she agreed to rent the house to them.
Joey was going to get the paperwork that they would need to rent the house and he was going to bring the papers later today, Emma and Manny were excited, meanwhile at Jay's Hannah and Jay were watching a movie when Jay spoke up "listen I like you and I just wanted to let you know that I have a nine month old daughter!" Hannah smiled at him "thank you for letting me know.
Jay and Hannah started dating and that night Jay had gone over to Emma's to see Aria, when he walked into the basement he saw boxes everywhere "what is going on?" Emma looked at him and smiled "today we went looking for Apartments and we found out that Joey was going to rent out his house and we talked to him and he is going to rent to Manny and I," Jay smiled "when do y'all move in?" Emma looked around in two weeks."
"Manny had told her parents that we were going to move in together they sent the rest of her things," Jay nodded his head "well I came to tell you that I got a girlfriend," Emma was surprised "does she know about Aria?" Jay nodded his head "yeah she does and she is fine with that," just then Manny came down the stairs with Aria and Jay took her and sat on Emma's bed.
The next two weeks flew by and the girls had finished packing up the basement, Jay, Spinner and Snake moved the girls into their new house, It took then five hours to move everything in and then they ordered pizza.
After Jay left the house he went back to his apartment and Sean and Ellie were cuddling on the couch so Jay grabbed a pop and went to his room to watch a movie, half way threw the movie Hannah called and they talked and decided to go out to a bar, Jay had picked up Hannah.
"So what did you do today?" Jay looked at Hannah "I help my daughter and her mom move into a house!" Hannah looked at him "how old is your daughter's mother?" Jay thought about it "she is seventeen," Hannah just nodded her head, when they got to the bar and started drinking.
The next morning Emma was getting Aria's diaper bag and her backpack ready for the day, once everything was ready Emma waited for Jay to show up but after thirty minutes Jay still hadn't shown up so Emma walk to Aria's daycare, once Emma had dropped Aria off she walked to Degrassi.
Later that night after Emma had put Aria down for the night she had tried to call Jay for the tenth time that day and he didn't answer so she called Sean and he told Emma that Jay hadn't been home since the night before, Emma was annoyed and also starting to worry.
Jay had woken up in Hannah's bed with a horrible hangover he looked at the clock and read that it was Five in the evening, he got up and went to check his phone and he saw that Emma had called ten times.
Right before he could call her back Hannah walked into the room and brought him nachos and a beer, the rest of the night they spent time drinking and making out.
