A warm breeze - unseasonably warm for a Portland in late fall. The street was dark and relatively quiet. As the guardians stood around the house lurking in shadows. Watching and waiting for any sign of the royalty princess or twins to appear. Every once in a while, the guardians would watch the roommates coming and going from the residence.
Dimitri watched the back of the residence and wait for any sign of movement in the house. As he stood in the backyard next to a big old oak tree that would give him some cover. Recalled reading Jasmine Hathaway's file. Keeping eyes on the big dark guardian standing next to an enormous oak tree trying to hide, and thought to herself, that tree isn't hiding you. Dimitri looked back to the bedroom. Examined the bedroom door open. But couldn't determine whom came to the princess's room. Thinking to himself it could be a roommate or another sister. The light went out in the bedroom. Seeing female dhampier and princes disappear from his sight.
