It happened one night_8
When Emma and Manny got home from the store they started cleaning the house and getting everything together, Liberty showed up early so that Manny could give her a make over, while Manny and Liberty were getting dressed J.t and Toby showed up and turned on the music.
When Liberty walked downstairs the party was in full swing, Manny heard a knock at the door so she went to to open it and saw a bunch of Degrassi students and some Lakehurst students walked in.
Emma has walked over when she saw Sean, Spinner and Jay walking in "thanks for the invite polka dot!" Emma rolled her eyes and went to get a drink, Manny was talking to Damien and they started dancing, Jay had noticed that Emma was drinking so he walked up to her and took her cup away from her and gave her a water bottle.
Several hours later everyone was dancing when Drake a kid from Lakehurst gave Derek and Danny a beer that they shook up and got on Jay and Spinner so they kicked they two Lakehurst kids out and continued to party.
Suddenly you hear someone yelling to call 911 so Emma and Manny ran outside and Saw Liberty on the ground with J.t, Toby had rode with J.t in the ambulance while Sean drove Emma, Manny and Liberty to the hospital, Jay had stayed behind to clean up the house.
At the hospital Liberty and Damian were talking to the cops and the rest were waiting for the news Emma had called her parents and they were driving back, after Emma hung up the doctor came out and informed them that J.t had passed away due to his injuries.
Sean had dropped Emma and Manny off at home, when they walked inside Emma saw Jay "J.t died," Emma started crying and Jay went and held her, Manny had sat on the sofa and cried, Jay heard her and called her over to him and Emma.
When Manny walked up to them Jay pulled her into his other arm and held both girls while they both cried, both girls fell asleep on the sofa when Emma's parents came over to drop Aria off, Jay took Aria to her room and put her to bed.
When he got downstairs Emma and Manny had woken up and was telling Spike and Snake about what happen at the party and with J.t, Jay felt bad since he kicked Johnny and Drake out of the party and he told Emma and her family.
It had been two weeks since J.t died and Manny's parents wanted her to move back home but she said no, since Jay was helping with Aria Emma had enrolled in community college.
Jay had helped the girls decorate for Christmas, Emma and Jay agreed since Aria's birthday was a week after Christmas they wouldn't go to crazy with presents but that didn't stop their friends or her family.
Jay had stayed the night so that he could be there for Aria's first Christmas, Jay woke up to someone knocking at the door when he answered it he saw friends and family lining up to drop off gifts for everyone, when the girls went down the stairs they saw the all of the presents Emma looked at Jay.
"um Jay I thought we agreed to not go crazy with presents?" Jay chuckled "it wasn't me Greenpeace I woke up and people were standing outside with gifts in their hands," they opened half of the gifts and then went and made breakfast.
While they were eating Manny spoke up "so I have been seeing someone for a month now!" Emma looked at her best friend "who is it?" Manny looked down "please don't get mad but I have been seeing Sean!" Emma and Jay looked at each other " you mean my ex boyfriend and Jay's roommate?" Manny nodded "well I'm happy that you found someone who makes you happy."
Manny smiled and went to shower before going over to Sean's, Emma and Jay were on the floor with Aria when Emma looked at him "I think it's cute that our roommates are dating each other!" Jay smiled at her "yeah good for them."
That night as Jay was leaving Emma walked him to the door and he leaned down and kissed her, they both smiled and Jay went back to his apartment, when he walked inside he heard Manny and Sean.
Jay rolled his eyes and went to his room and started playing on his play station, Emma was putting Aria's toys away and started thinking about the kiss, she had forgotten how good of a kisser Jay was and then she started wondering what that kiss meant.
The next day Jay had gone over to Emma's to get away from Manny and Sean when he walked in Aria was playing with her toy cars when she saw Jay she gave him a one tooth smile and he picked her up and went to the kitchen.
Jay forgot how beautiful Emma was and he started thinking about that kiss, "hey Em can we talk about that kiss last night?" Emma nodded her head yes and they went to sit at the table "I think we should try to be a couple?" Emma was surprised "yes we should give this relationship a try."
Jay smiled and he went to Emma and kissed her, he took Aria back to the living room to play with her while Emma made lunch for them, after they finished eating lunch they took Aria to an indoor playground.
While Aria was playing with a doll Emma and Jay started planning Aria's first birthday party and then they went back to Emma's to get Aria ready for bed, once Aria was asleep Jay left and Emma went to bed shortly after Jay left.
