It Happened one night_9
It had been a couple of days since Emma and Jay started planning for Aria's first birthday party and they needed to go into town to get the things that they would need but since it was snowing Manny offered to watch Aria for them.
They picked a winter ONEderland for the theme of the party, Manny and Sean were going to pick up the cake the day of the party, after they finished getting thing they would need for the party they went and got lunch.
The day of the party Jay was helping Emma decorate the house for the party while Manny and Sean went to get the cake, while Emma was getting Aria dressed people started showing up and Manny and Sean showed up with the cake.
When Emma walked into the living room she saw all of the presents it was the same amount that Aria got for Christmas, "guys we told y'all not to go crazy with gifts again it took us two days to open her Christmas gift."
Everyone was having fun at the party and they has finished eating cake and was about to start opening presents when Aria stood up and took three steps to Jay, Snake looked at Emma "was that her first step?" Emma nodded and Aria took two steps to Emma and hugged her.
The party ended and Emma and Manny were cleaning the house and Spike told Emma and Jay that they needed to baby proof their houses since Aria was now walking, then Snake told them to always keep the bathroom door closed so that Aria wouldn't throw anything in the toilet.
Five months later
Manny and Sean talked about moving to Las Angeles after they graduated, Jay was practically living at Emma's.
On a Monday Emma had gotten a call from Ms. Hatzilakos and she wanted Emma to meet with her during lunch so Emma agreed, when Emma walked into Degrassi she saw Liberty and Toby talking so she waved to them and then went to the office.
When Ms. Hatzilakos walked in she smiled at Emma "it's good to see you again Emma!" Emma just nodded and Ms. Hatzilakos sat down and pulled out a folder "I know that you graduated early and we were wondering if you wanted to walk the stage with your class?"
Emma was surprised "yes I would love to," Ms. Hatzilakos smiled and nodded so she grabbed four tickets and gave them to Emma "would Jay Hogart be able to attend?" Ms. Hatzilakos looked surprised and confused "yeah that's fine," Emma smiled and went home.
Later that night Jay came over and Emma showed him the tickets and he agreed to go.
On Saturday Jay and Aria went to the park while Emma, Manny and Liberty went and got dresses for graduation, as they were walking around the mall Manny spoke up "I can't believe this is our last shopping trip."
Emma looked at them "in a couple of months Manny you and Sean will be in Las Angeles and Liberty will be at Smithdale," Emma gave them a sad smile Manny and Liberty "what is wrong Emma?" Emma looked up "it's just all my life I wanted to go away to college and become an Environmentalist and change the world."
Emma had tears in her eyes "but then I got so messed up after the shooting I started hooking up with Jay Hogart while he was with Alex and then I ended up getting pregnant and becoming a teen mom," Manny hugged her.
After Emma's meltdown they went and got lunch, while they were waiting for their food Manny looked at Emma "are you feeling okay now?" Emma put her cup down "yeah I'm okay I just had a little freak out," they finished shopping and they went back to their houses.
Jay could tell something was bothering Emma but he didn't want to push her and they start arguing, while they were laying in bed and Emma was laying on Jay's chest Jay spoke up "what's wrong Greenpeace?" Emma looked at him "I was talking with the girls and I freaked out because in a couple of weeks we will be graduating and Manny and Liberty are moving away."
Jay understood why Emma freaked out he knew that she never planned on getting pregnant and she wanted to save the world and animals but that had changed when she got pregnant with Aria, "Greenpeace you are going to save the world and you are going to do it with a man and baby by your side."
Emma smiled at him and they kissed and went to bed.
Graduation morning Jay woke up early to make breakfast for Emma and Manny and then he was going to his apartment with Aria so that Emma could get ready with Manny and Liberty.
While the girls were getting dressed Liberty was telling Emma that the night before at prom Damian asked her out and they were going to date for the summer, Manny had announced that Sean and her were going to Las Angeles to look for an apartment before they moved in June.
They left Emma's house and went to Degrassi were they saw all of their classmates, when Toby saw them he walked to them and they all hugged and then they announced that Graduation was about to began,
Liberty was giving her Valediction speech she mentioned J.t and the whole class had tears in their eyes, finally they were graduates Manny and Emma had walked to their family and they took a group picture.
Before they left the school they went to J.t Yorke memorial statue and they talked about him and then they gave him is graduation cap and they walked out of Degrassi.
