Disclaimers: This is a crossover between different Super Sentai series. I don't own Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, Tensō Sentai Goseiger, and Engine Sentai Go-Onger. All three Super Sentai series are owned by Tōei Kabushiki-gaisha, the Tōei company. Samurai Sentai Shinkenger premiered on February 15, 2009. Tensō Sentai Goseiger premiered on February 14, 2010, one year after Samurai Sentai Shinkenger. Engine Sentai Go-Onger premiered on February 17, 2008, one year before Samurai Sentai Shinkenger. If I did own them, the series would have TakeruXMako and AlataXKotoha in them with wedding and all! =D
The following school day that had Alata and Kotoha walking solemnly into school together. Alata was quick to wake up from where he was sleeping to fly over magically to Kotoha's place. There, he met with Kotoha and would comfort her before going to school. No one knew that instead of having a date together, Kotoha and Alata were talking with the Go-Ongers on what had happened to Kotoha's older brother, Sōsuke…
- Flashback –
"What happened," all but demanded Alata.
Each of the Go-Ongers looked at one another before wincing to look down at the floor. They all felt that they failed in protecting themselves against the ancient machine called Horonderthal. They all, however, didn't know that it was something that the evil Bankizoku Gaiark, Yogostein, did to Sōsuke in their one-on-one battle long ago. Before anyone could say anything, Gunpei gestured for Hiroto to help him pick Sōsuke up for him to rest in the Ginjirō-gō RV. Alata gently pulled Kotoha up and walked her into the RV where she sat next to Sōsuke's body, her head down in sadness. The other Go-Ongers didn't even know how to proceed as Alata placed a comforting hand on Kotoha's shoulder, a protective glare thrown at the Go-Ongers. 'At least, we can tell Sōsuke that Alata is very protective of Kotoha,' thought Saki.
"So," prompted Alata.
"Well, we are not sure what happened," started Miu.
"We were celebrating a victory over winning against an ancient machine named Horonderthal that the Gaiark, Yogostein, released from the ground," said Renn.
"Then, all of a sudden, Sōsuke stopped responding," said Hiroto.
"And it led to him turning into rust, making us wonder what happened and if he's…," trailed off Hanto.
"Īe," said Kotoha, "I won't believe that nīchan is… is…"
"Same here," said Alata with determination, "We just have to find a way to get to him… wherever he is."
"Alata-san," said Saki.
"Kotoha-chan," said Miu.
When Kotoha heard the conviction in Alata's voice, Kotoha couldn't help but agree with him. If everyone worked together, they could save her onīsan. Kotoha smiled at Alata for what he was trying to do. At least, she wouldn't think about how her onīsan was comatose right now. Alata, on his part, was thinking of ways to reach Sōsuke wherever he was, but he was drawing a blank. Apparently, he would need his nakama to help save Sōsuke. He, however, was happy that Kotoha was smiling instead of looking very depressed and distressed at the situation. "Are you in," questioned Alata, "To save Sōsuke?"
"Hai," said Saki with determination on her face.
"Hai," said Renn with the same conviction.
"Of course," said Hiroto and Gunpei together.
Miu and Hanto nodded their heads as well. Of course, all of the Go-Ongers want to have a piece of Yogostein whenever he shows his face again. They were going to avenge Sōsuke while Kotoha and Alata find a way to save Sōsuke within his mind.
- End Flashback –
'Demo, easier said than done,' thought Alata with an inward sigh.
It took all of the weekend and two school days to try to find a solution to wake up Sōsuke. Yuri was also getting suspicious that there was more to what happened to Sōsuke. Of course, Alata and Kotoha reassured their friend that he was just out sick. Yuri, however, just let it go, but lying to Yuri was hurting Alata and Kotoha's heart. They really didn't want to trouble Yuri and get her in danger with THEIR enemies. Yet, it was now the third school day, and they still had no idea how to help Sōsuke. They, however, have yet to tell their nakama about Sōsuke's situation. Alata looked at the solemn face Kotoha had been having on recently and couldn't help but wince inwardly. As the kareshi, shouldn't he be responsible to make Kotoha happy? Alata, with that thought, nodded his head slightly just as the bell rang, signaling the start of their first class. 'After class,' thought a determined Alata.
- Afterschool –
"Where are we going," asked Kotoha.
"You'll see," said Alata.
It was afterschool that Alata all but dragged Kotoha to somewhere. Of course, Alata DID ask Kotoha if she would come with him to somewhere after their first class together. Yuri wasn't even put out because she too could see that Kotoha needed cheering up. Yuri, however, told Alata and Kotoha that they would hang out the following day like they usually did. Both agreed right before Alata dragged Kotoha off to wherever he wanted to show Kotoha. Kotoha, on her part, was wondering why Alata wanted to go somewhere when her nīchan was still looking like rust. She was also wondering how she could talk with her nakama about saving her nīchan as well. She knew that Sōsuke didn't really give a good first impression to Tono-sama and the others when they first met. As she thought about her worries, she didn't notice that Alata stopped in front of a modest café. Kotoha basically bumped into Alata's back and started to bow. "Gomen," said Kotoha sheepishly.
"Daijōbu," said Alata, "I know that you have a lot of worries, but I was wondering if we can have a small date here?"
"Date," questioned Kotoha.
"Un," nodded Alata, "I think that we need to relax once in a while before we try another lead to help your onīsan."
"I don't know…," trailed off Kotoha.
"Onegai (Please), Kotoha," said Alata.
Kotoha looked at Alata and saw the worry in his eyes. She knew that she had been very worried and depressed when she thought about what had happened to her onīchan, but to make Alata worry over her? She felt horrible for making Alata worry and looked down sadly. She was about to open her mouth to say how sorry she was, but Alata smiled reassuringly at her. He knew that this situation was stressful. He was also feeling the stress as well, but if some time off to think clearly and enjoy their first date together. Maybe after de-stressing, the two can come up with something. "I know that you are stressed and worried about your onīsan, but I believe he would want you to relax just a bit," said Alata, "For I know that WE will come up with something. It will just take time."
"Alata," said Kotoha with love.
"Now, come on, Koto-chan," said Alata as he grabbed her hand, "Let's enjoy our first date."
"Un," nodded Kotoha with a small smile on her face.
- Across The Street –
"Eh," questioned Agri, "Alata?"
"Doko (Where)," questioned Eri, "Doko?"
After school, the Goseigers were worried about Alata. He had been disappearing after school let out and never was one to tell the others where he was going to go. Of course, if there was a monster that needed defeated, he would be there in a flash of red whirlwind sparkles. He, however, also would sometimes have the questionable ShinkenYellow with him to help… just like yesterday afternoon. The Goseigers were fighting against an Yūmajū that was based off of a harvestman, a spider, with a rainbow-like web behind its back. However, this Yūmajū could create illusions that could become tangible. The Goseigers tried their hardest to defeat this monster, but without the added bonus of gaining the Miracle Gosei Headders and ShinkenYellow summoning a white cloak that would encase her body, the Yūmajū would have won. Afterwards, Alata and ShinkenYellow would disappear to who knows where, Alata being the only one who knows ShinkenYellow's identity. It was a miracle that today of all days, the Goseigers found Alata who was entering a quaint café with Kotoha. "He's over there at the café with Kotoha-san," pointed out Agri.
"Eh," exclaimed Moune and Eri who looked over.
"Why wouldn't he tell us that he was hanging out with Hanaori-san," questioned Hyde.
"Well, we already know that he hangs out with Kotoha-san and Yuri-san," said Moune.
"Hai," said Hyde, "Demo, Yuri isn't with them."
"Eh," questioned the other three incredulously.
As the other Goseigers looked on, they didn't see Nozomu walking up to them, heading his way home from his own school. Nozomu, on his part, departed away from his own friends and was just walking down the road. There, he saw the Goseigers, his teen friends, looking at something with confusion. He calmly walked up to the others and… "What are you all looking at?"
"Nozomu," exclaimed the other Goseigers.
"Hai," questioned Nozomu.
"When did you get here," questioned Moune.
"Just now," said Nozomu, "So, what are you looking at?"
"Alata and Kotoha-san," said Eri.
"Alata," questioned Nozomu.
The other Goseigers motioned towards where Alata was. There, Nozomu saw Alata smiling at Kotoha, one of his school friends, with happiness. He could also see one strawberry parfait sitting in the middle of the small round table. However, what caught his sight was not the two casually eating the strawberry parfait with two spoons, thus sharing the treat. No. The one thing that caught his attention was how Alata unconsciously, and slowly, moved his chair to sit right next to Kotoha and place an arm around her shoulders. Nozomu also saw Kotoha flush just slightly but never made a move for Alata to remove the arm. Suddenly, there was a realization on Nozomu's face. The others were quick to also see Nozomu having a knowing look on his face and decided to ask. "Nozomu, did you find out about something," questioned Eri.
"I believe so," said Nozomu.
"So… you know why Yuri-san isn't with the two," questioned Hyde.
'Un," nodded Nozomu, "I think… I think that Alata and Kotoha-san are having a date."
"Eh," exclaimed the Goseigers loudly before hiding behind a bush with Nozomu.
- With Alata & Kotoha –
"Did you hear something," questioned Alata as he looked around.
"It sounded like your nakama," said Kotoha with the word nakama ending in a questioning tone.
Alata nodded his head. He too thought he heard his nakama somewhere close by. However, he was finally able to relax and treat Kotoha with a very sweet strawberry parfait. Kotoha also didn't mind that he scooted closer to her and had his left arm around her shoulders either. They also looked rather cozy sitting next to each other. As Alata finished paying for the dessert, he held Kotoha's hand and led her to the park. Both walked together, and for the first time, they were relaxing after finding out about Sōsuke's predicament. Alata was also swinging both his and Kotoha's hand in contentment. It didn't take them long to settle down on a bench. Kotoha resting her head on Alata's shoulder. Alata, on his part, was happy that Kotoha seemed so peaceful after an afternoon first date. He also almost missed Kotoha's question, but didn't. "Alata-kun," said Kotoha.
"Nani," questioned Alata.
"You know that monster we fought yesterday with your nakama," questioned Kotoha.
"Hai," said Alata.
"I really would like to know just HOW you had gotten ahold of the Miracle Gosei Headders," said Kotoha, "Gomen for asking, but that part confused me."
Alata thought back on yesterday. As he did, he started to tell Kotoha that he didn't know HOW he did it. He told her that he closed his eyes and reopened it to see the glowing form of the Abare Header. He told her how he didn't understand what was happening but was able to calm down the header in question. Alata also said that when he lifted his arm to touch the header, a bright flash blinded him and made him come out of whatever trance he was in, resulting in the five Miracle Gosei Headders. "So, you can kind of appear within someone's mind," questioned Kotoha.
"I guess so," said Alata, "If I did, then this power is kind of new to me."
"I wonder if you could practice it and go into nīchan's mind to find him," said a thoughtful Kotoha.
"That's it," exclaimed Alata as he sat up.
"Alata," questioned Kotoha.
"How we can save Sōsuke-san," said Alata before turning to Kotoha, "I can try to get into his mind and save him that way!"
"Demo," said Kotoha, "How are you going to do that when you don't know how you did it the first time?"
"I guess we have to call our nakama for help," said a determined Alata.
"Okay," said Kotoha, "Let's try."
- Later That Late Afternoon –
The Goseigers and Nozomu got the shock of their lives as black-clothed kuroko came into Nozomu's house and started to prepare for something. They didn't know what they were being prepared for, but once five familiar so-called teachers, along with Chiaki, Alata, and Kotoha, came into the house, they grew more confused. The Shinkengers, on the other hand, got a called from Kotoha to meet at Alata's house to help out with something. It was time for Kotoha and Alata to grab their nakama to help out the Go-Ongers. Though, they too were surprised to see the kuroko putting the tono seat in the middle and holding up a one white background that had the Shinkenger crest on it. They couldn't say anything as the Goseigers quickly ran towards Alata and pulled him with their group. "Alata," said Moune, "What is going on?"
"Gomen nasai (I'm so sorry)," said Kotoha for Alata with a bow, "It was time to tell you all some things so that you can help out with a problem?"
"Things," questioned Hyde.
"Tono-sama," implored Kotoha to Takeru.
Takeru, on his part, sighed inwardly. He knew that Kotoha was feeling depressed, but he knew that Alata could handle in cheering Kotoha up. He was unaware that Kotoha and Alata were in a problem that needed the help of the Goseigers AND the Shinkengers. However, Kotoha always felt like an imōto to him and couldn't really deny anything. Takeru looked at the assembled Shinkengers who were also following Takeru's lead and sighed inwardly again. He now knew that whatever situation that needed their attention, it was best to tell the assembled uninformed Goseigers who they were. Yet, he couldn't say anything yet because… "Tono," questioned the Goseigers.
"Sō (That's right)," said a smiling Alata, "Mina (Everyone), meet ShinkenRed."
"Eh," questioned the Goseigers.
"Goseigers," said Takeru with a sigh before bluntly stating, "We are the Shinkengers."
"Eh," exclaimed the Goseigers, except Alata, who didn't know to be surprised by the Shinkengers being here or to deny being the Goseigers.
