Chapter 1: The Bond

Forty-year-old Noah Puckerman was sitting on the floor at Rachel St. James's house playing with two-year-old Liza Marie Anderson making her laugh and giggle. Liza Marie didn't want to be with anyone else and nor did Noah who lost his sight due to an explosion while overseas. At one point in the night, Noah had to go to the bathroom and Liza Marie helped him find it. After which Noah hears Liza Marie say, "Stop staring, Meanies! Nono is a hero! Not a monster! Me no judge! Me love Nono! You don't! Nono best friend! He no judge me! I no judge him!" Burt Hummel was about to speak when Liza Marie says, "G' Pa Burt, no lie! You say he Pan! Never grow up!" Then Liza Marie flips them off before Noah says, "Liza Marie, can we go to your room away from these judging meanies?"
Liza Marie just says, "Sure, Nono." Before taking Noah to her room.

An hour later, Noah comes out alone and says, "You know, Quinn dumping me after I went blind is one thing. But the fact that Liza Marie was the only one that made me feel welcomed here. That's just messed up and since you guys think I will never grow up. I think I will sleep in Liza Marie's room." Then he walks to the room his stuff was in and takes it to Liza Marie's room. Only tripping a couple of times as he did this and when he was done he flipped everybody off before slamming the door.

When Liza Marie woke up to seeing Noah in her bed with her and hearing the others talking about him again. She got up and stormed out of the room before saying, "Nono a good man! He's, my hero! Stop talking bad about him! G' Pa was Nono! You no judge him! Why judge Nono?!" This made Burt say, "That's a good question, Liza Marie. I am ashamed to admit that I am one of those people that judged Puck for his past still. Puck has changed a lot since high school and I for one think we are the ones that need to grow up here. You know, I saw Puck working on his truck a week ago after I stepped down as a congressman. I even checked his work after he went in his house." Then he turned to Carole and says, "He's living in our old house and I have noticed that he has mowed the lawn while being blind. Puck is having to rely on his memory to do everything and the fact he can still work on a truck he can't see to drive anymore. Well, since I bought my shop back, I think I will offer him a job."

Then they hear Noah clear his throat before he says, " Burt, your buddy Mick already offered me a job there and I start as soon as we get back. By the way, I know the sound of your truck or Blaine's car, and Kurt, I just want you to know. Blaine is okay with me being Liza Marie's godfather and he didn't go to Dave's house after you two had a fight about that. Ha, I would have told you that last night, but I was too pissed off to think. Blaine told me Liza Marie reminded him of Finn in a way and I agree. That's why she is my new best friend and if Quinn gets over me being blind. I hope she'll be my daughter-in-law someday." Then he turned his head as Quinn walked in quietly and says, "Babe, I know you are here. You're wearing the perfume I bought you before I went overseas." This makes Quinn cry and fall to her knees.

Liza Marie was the one that walked to Quinn and says, "Auntie Queenie, Uncle Nono loves you. We forgive you. Nono sad, me sad. Nono is my best friend. Don't hurt him again!" This made Quinn say, "Okay, Liza Marie, I won't, and I want your Papa to know I finally listened to his voicemail messages. Let's just say he was mad at me too and he hated seeing you upset about me hurting Uncle Puck. Ha, I thought Uncle Puck and your Grandpa Burt had tempers. Your Papa might be better at controlling his temper, but he can get just as mad as them."

This made Kurt look at Blaine and ask, "What did you say to Quinn, Blaine?" Blaine just looked at Noah and says, "Quinn knows ask her. I am not repeating it in front of Liza Marie! Quinn made Liza Marie cry for months after dumping Puck! She wants to be Puck's daughter-in-law just as much as he wants that and wanted Quinn as a mother-in-law. Quinn broke Liza Marie's heart when she broke Puck's!" Then Blaine looks at Quinn and says, "I know about you and Wes getting married in Vegas! How the hell could you stand there and lie to Liza Marie?! You know what?! I think you should leave Quinn because I want to do something to you, I would never due to a woman!"

Then Santana walks up to Quinn and punches her in the face before saying, "I can't believe you would hurt Puck like that Quinn! Was this all an act to mess with Puck's head or what?" Quinn just looked at Blaine and said, "I had the marriage annulled Blaine and I came here to tell Puck I want him back." This makes Noah say, "Quinn, I still love you, but I don't want you anymore. You are a fucking heartless bitch! You dump me after I became blind and ran off to marry someone else! What the hell, Quinn? Do you really think I should take you back after the shit you pulled?!"

Then Liza Marie says, "I don't, Uncle Nono! She is a big meanie!" Then Blaine says as he picks up Liza Marie, "Quinn, I think you better leave now." Before Rachel says, "You know, Quinn, Puck told me in a letter that he thought you were his person and he was planning on asking you to marry him when he got back. Sarah and I even helped him pick out a ring online for you!" Then she looked at Liza Marie before saying, "My daughter looked up to you! My daughter looked up to you, Quinn! Not me, not Santana, not Brittany or Tina! She looked up to you! You were her role model, Quinn! My daughter loved you and Puck the most and this is how you repay her for loving you?!" Then Rachel walks up to Quinn and hits her in the face breaking her nose.

Noah could even hear it break and says, "Damn, Rach! I forgot about your temper and I guess Quinn did too. Ha, I wish I could see the look on Quinn's face right now! Ha, I bet she is in shock right now." Then he hears a door slam and Liza Marie whisper, "Bye-bye, Meanie Queenie, fucking bitch!" Before he hears Blaine say, "I bet Uncle Puck was about to say that too, Liza Marie." As the others started to laugh.
