Eric cupped her face in his large strong hands

"You're the bravest person I know, let's go to my apartment and catch some sleep" he suggested

"I don't think I can sleep, it's 8 in the morning already, and I'm hungry" she stated

"Then I make you breakfast in my kitchen and you can take a shower. I don't know what about you but I can deal with cafeteria and Uriah right now" Eric said rubbing his face

"You've a point, let's go".

After they ate in silence. Eric took a shower. She was spread over the couch and realized that all her clothes were in her apartment down the hall.

She was just getting up, as Eric was coming out of the bathroom in nothing but a towel.

She blushed crimson

"You're going?" he wondered

"I've no clothes, and I really need a shower"

He turned to his bedroom, letting her staying dumbfounded.

She signed and went to the door.

Moody Eric was back, she hated his mood swings.

As she opened the door, he grabbed her wrist.

"I have some clothes for you, many they are a bit big, but so you don't have to go back to your apartment"

She looked at the pile of things in his hands, she was surprised how thoughtful he was.

Since he was back, he was nothing but kind to her.

No mean comments or sarcastic remarks, she liked this side of him.

But she also liked the rough leader everyone else got to see.

"Thank you"

She got on her tip toes and kissed him on the cheek and left for the bathroom.

Eric stared after her, a hand on the cheek where she had kissed him.

That little minx was playing with fire and he was sure she didn't even knew it.

Tris stepped out of the shower and eyed the clothes, black leather pants, a black tank top and a zip hoodie.

She wondered if that was another girl's clothes or Eric's, she put it on, it fitted her good.

She looked in the mirror, her eyes looked tired but she was ok with that.

She opened the door, Eric had his back to her and was on his phone.

He was clearly annoyed.

"It's fucking choosing day Jonathan. We can deal with all your Erudite drama tomorrow" he threw his phone on the table next to him.

"Everything alright?" she asked carefully

He didn't answered right away

As he turned around, he looked intimidating.

She swallowed, ready to be his emotional punching bag.

As he registered her presence, his features soften, a small smile on his lips.

"You look good in my old clothes, before you ask, I was slim when I came here first."

"This is really yours? It's perhaps a size too big, but you must've been really small compared to know"she said laughing a little bit.

"What got you so mad at the phone? "

"Erudite leadership, Jonathan thinks just because he is leading the all so knowing fraction, everyone must jump when he yells. That nose had some nerve, can't wait for tomorrow" Eric was cleary annoyed.

She didn't know what to do, so she hugged him, he immediately pressed her to his chest.

After a while, Tris cleared her throat.

"Eric, I think we should talk about a few things" she said in a small whisper

"Yeah, I know. There is a lot catching up to do and "

She wondered what he meant

"But we have Uriah and a train to catch" he reminded her.
