Eric I love having you around me, but I can't jump into the next relationship just like the last time.
Can we date for a while and see what happens? " she was nervous about his reaction, but she had to be honest with him.
Yes she was very much in love with the man in front of her but she couldn't let things happen like the last time with Four. She needed to be herself and don't get lost in a relationship.
She looked at him and Eric smiled at her
"Dates? You don't know what you sighed up for Prior.
I will go on dates with you that you will never forget.
But Tris I won't hide anymore and I will kiss you when ever I get the chance to. Are you in? He asked her seriously.
Instead of an answer she threw her arms around him and kissed him.
After a while
Eric headed to his apartment and Tris to bed.
Both of them smiling like some teenagers from amity.
The next morning, they meet each other outside of Max office.
After Tris knocked he let them in
"Good morning, so let's get started"
Max sat down behind his desk and gestured them to do the same.
"Well Tris since you're only temporary involved with the new Initiates in stage one , you will join Eric dealing with Erudite and you also will be dealing with abgenation leadership. Eric will only be there to watch, they have the tendency to piss me and him off, so as your former fraction perhaps it will be easier for you to deal with them. This is a huge trust bonus" she nodded silently

As they left Max office she let out a sigh of relief.
Eric laid a hand of her back and guided her back to their own office.
"Looks like we're spending a lot of time together " Eric said grinning
