Heya Readers,
Once again sorry to leave on a cliffhanger. Last place we left off, the turtles and Mona had been subdued by the merciless Venomous Five, and Kemeko who was hiding in the vent now has Cobra crawling in there looking for her!
Will she escape?

Chapter Thirteen
Inside the vent, Kemeko listened to the battle above, she could hear her father's katana swords clashing, the whacking of her Uncle Mikey and Uncle Donnie's nun-chucks and bo staff, as well as the slashing of her Aunt Mona's fans and strikes from Uncle Raphael's sai.
She felt confident that her family could fight back against the Venomous Five, although she was aware that despite their lack of intelligence, the dangerous humanoid experiments of Dr Arden made it up with their brawn, venom and lack of mercy.
Before long she heard grunts and groans and her spirit rose, but then it sank deep as she heard the triumphant laughter of the Venomous Five.
"No!" she thought in fear "Dad! Uncles, Aunt Mona!"
She then heard Komodo Dragon ordering Cobra to start looking for her then heard the Golden Spitter's sing song voice as she was climbing into the vent.
"Here I come little prey!" Cobra's voice resonated within the vent "You can't hide from me! I'm gonna get you!"
"And remember Cobra!" Komodo Dragon's voice was heard above "Don't harm her! No Venom! The Masters want her alive and unharmed!"
Kemeko sucked in a breath, she was truly terrified!
If Cobra was in the vent, then she had to work out a way to get out, and escape, but if the Venomous Five had her father, Uncles and Aunt hostage above, what could she do?
She remembered her family always telling her that she had to run away from trouble and get back into the sewers where no-one could follow her, yet if Cobra saw her go into the sewers, the Venomous snake would know where to look.
Kemeko looked up to see where the voice of Cobra was coming from, and it was getting closer, and she could feel the vibrations of that evil snake getting closer, she had to move fast!
Gathering her courage, she felt around in the darkness and started to move down the vent.
There had to be another way out.
As she moved, she could hear Cobra still taunting and hissing.
"I'm gonna get you! You can't get far! There's no use in hiding!"
Kemeko swallowed hard and kept feeling around in the darkness, compared to the evil snake following her, the darkness didn't seem scary at all, in fact it seemed a comfort since she knew Cobra couldn't see her in the darkness and it was her only aid to keep her safe from the spitter until she found a way out.
"I'm coming to get you! Come out! Come out wherever you are!"
Cobra's voice got louder the closer she got, and Kemeko had to move fast.
Pushing her fears aside, the Japanese girl kept moving and feeling down the vent.
"Please darkness." She prayed "Keep me hidden from my enemies, be my friend, my aid, please keep me safe from the eyes of my hunter!"
She kept on moving, then she squeaked in fear as her foot slipped and she went sliding down.
She couldn't stop the scream that erupted from her mouth as she slid down and she soon heard Cobra's gasp then cackle as she located the sound.
Kemeko squealed as she slid down then yelped in pain as her feet touched what appeared to be a dead end!
"No!" she thought in terror, then saw some light through the tiny openings, showing it was an exit to the street outside!
Looking behind her, Kemeko could hear the sound of Cobra moving down the vent, her cackles and hissing getting louder, and there was no option but to try and get out!
Sucking in a breath, Kemeko kicked hard at the lid of the vent, the bangs echoed horribly and she saw Cobra would follow the sound, but she kept at it.
At last, after a final kick, the lid came off and Kemeko fell out and landed in an untidy heap on a pile of rubbish in a dumpster!
Seeing where she was, Kemeko quickly scrambled off and landed on the ground and looked up into the dark alleyway then looked up towards the roof wondering if her family was okay.
"You little insect!"
Kemeko squealed in fear as she saw Cobra suddenly appear from the vent and had fallen out of the open vent and head-first into the dumpster! Yet she leapt up and landed in the alleyway facing the terrified Japanese Girl who ran to the end of the alley only to discover it was a dead end!
"There you are you little shit!" Cobra hissed as venom drooled from her mouth and she sauntered over to Kemeko, her eyes blazing, and her fangs bared.
"I'm going to make you wish you had never been born!"
Kemeko pressed back against the wall as Cobra got ready to pounce on her.
"No use in running prey!" Cobra snarled "Here I come!"
Kemeko shut her eyes waiting for Cobra to leap on her, but then she heard a choked gasp as well as something wet hit her skin!
Opening one eye, Kemeko gasped in horror as she saw a sharp bloody blade sticking out of Cobra's mid-section!
Cobra at the same time stared at the blade then she heard Leonardo's furious voice in her ear.
"Stay the fuck away from my daughter! Ugly Bitch!"
He then pulled the blade out of Cobra's stomach and kicked her hard into a pile of rubbish bags.
Kemeko gasped yet felt relief at seeing her father.
"Daddy!" she screamed then ran straight towards him to which the blue masked turtle grabbed her and pulled her close to him.
"Daddy!" Kemeko sobbed "I thought that snake was going to get me!"
"Shhh shh!" Leonardo soothed "It's okay baby! I got you! I will protect you!"
He soon saw his brothers and adopted sister leap down from the rooftops, both looking sweaty and bloody.
"Is she alright?!" Donatello asked worried.
"She's okay!" Leonardo confirmed "If not really frightened! Come on! Let's get back to the lair!"
"A'int gonna tell me twice!" Raphael agreed but not before glaring at the motionless Cobra and spitting in disgust.
"There's a Manhole just two blocks down where we came out of!" Mona informed pointing to the left "We'll be able to get there before the V5 realise we're gone!"
Leonardo held Kemeko close and nodded.
"Then lets book!" Michelangelo said before leading the way and the other mutants following close behind.
As the mutants left the scene, Cobra's body lay there, seemingly dead, that was until her fingers twitched then flexed.
"Cobra!" Komodo Dragon's voice was heard as he led the other Venomous Five down into the alleyway and they saw their youngest member laying there in the pile of rubbish with a large stab wound in her mid-section.
"No way…" Gila Monster said stepping forward.
"Is she?" Black Mamba questioned.
"She can't be…" Nile Monitor breathed.
"Leonardo stabbed her…" Komodo Dragon sighed, a hint of sadness in his voice.
"Hold the funeral Komodo!" Cobra's muffled voice came from the rubbish heap, and she started to move before climbing onto her knees, her stab wound starting to heal up.
"That turtle thought he killed me!" she snarled turning to her fellow members and slowly standing up "But he thought wrong!"
Komodo Dragon smirked.
"Dr Arden's healing serum from that Lizard Whore and their Dragon friend is useful in our DNA!" he said.
"Yet, you failed to catch the brat!" Black Mamba hissed.
Cobra hissed at Black Mamba.
"Well it's hard to catch that little titch when you're stabbed through the stomach genius!" the Golden Spitter snarled "And I had to play dead so Leonardo wouldn't try a second time to kill me!"
"Well that was smart!" Gila Monster commented "Very rare of you to think smart!"
Cobra hissed at Gila Monster and sprayed her venom to which Gila Monster ducked and the venom hit the wall.
"And still a lousey aim!" Nile Monitor chuckled.
"That's enough!" Komodo Dragon snapped "The bickering can continue later, thank goodness you're okay Cobra." He said.
"At least someone cares for me!" Cobra grumbled.
"Let's get out of here before someone see's us!" Komodo hissed then lead the way into the darkness of the alleyway before leaping to the rooftops.
"The Masters are gonna give us grief again I know it!" Gila Monster lamented.
"Tell me about it!" Sighed Nile Monitor.
"Your fault Cobra!" Black Mamba snarled "Because you lost the brat!"
"Well you didn't fare to well yourself Mamba!" Cobra spat.
"Will you both shut up!" Komodo Dragon barked, looking over his shoulder at the snakes "Or I'll smash your faces together so hard you'll be more hideous than Dr Arden from the outcome!"
So Kemeko escaped! Thanks to Leonardo!
He stabbed Cobra! But dang! That evil snake survived her stab wound! How many of you thought Leonardo had killed Cobra?
Also, I bet a lot of you wondered how the turtles and Mona got themselves out of their sticky situation whilst Kemeko was being chased in the vent!
