The Gryffindor common room was lit by the warm light of the fire as the murmurs of students filed on top of any surface that could be sat on working and talking with their friends.Harry potter watched the fire dancing turning and swaying eating away the logs being pulled out of his trance by Rons groaning shutting his text book with a snap "I have no idea what the Goblin rebels names are!" He exclaimed leaning back hanging off of the couch "Bodrod the Bearded and Urg the Unclean,Ron.Honestly how are you so far behind ,the test on Thursday !" Hermione said looking up from her long essay raising her eyebrow at Ron's antics,Ron rolled his eyes "well excuse me,I don't have a Durmstrang tutor over my shoulder all the time,mines gone." Hermione's face went red about to explode but the twins ran over with mischievous smiles.
Fred grabbing Ron by the head shaking it "yeah mione,Tillys been gone for a week and took Rons brain with her." George laughed at Ron smacking Freds hands away "when is she coming back?" Harry asked, the Weasley boys looked at one another blankly Harry catching Fred's looking wistfully for a moment before the look was covered up with a smirk.
"no idea she told us as much as Ronniekins." Fred replied, pinching Rons cheek and getting his hand smacked away immediately "Have you sent her an owl?" "Why Ron, want to confess your love to her?" George smirks jumping over the couch throwing an arm around Rons shoulders. "No, I just don't want to fail another test. I don't fancy her like Fred does." Ron grins looking over at Freds making kissy faces at Freds irritated red face "you little twerp Ill jinx's your hair green!" Fred exclaimes swiping a hand at Ron who quickly ducked running off with Fred chasing after him both yelling at one another.
"She really hasn't told you when she's coming back,peculiar ." Hermione states leaning her head in her hand, setting her quill back in her ink "Why are you so interested in Tilly?" Harry asked.Harry and George looked at the smart girl with confusion and interest. "Things just aren't adding up,I have this feeling she's hiding something but I have no clue what it could be." She sighs scratching her face "Or maybe I'm reading too deep into things and I'm just pulling strings!" Harry shakes his head smirking at her "Every time you say you have a hunch you're usually right,George you see her more than us what do you think?"George sits in deep thought looking over his shoulder seeing his twin chasing Ron up the dormitory stairs "yeah I think she's hiding something too Fred told me a bit along with Angelina."
Hermione twisted her quill between her fingers in thought "What exactly did they tell you? If you don't mind me asking." "Don't get me wrong ,she is a great friend but some of the things she does are a bit suspicious and Freds won't even admit to how odd she is sometimes." George sighed scratching his chin in thought.It was a very tough thing to talk about for george she was a good Friend and hell she's a brilliant problem solver,making an aging potion and lying to the Professors to get rid of her Bully and take the blame off of them but that's exactly what worries George that she's knows how to make people believe her and that they will especially with how smitten Fred is.What else has she been hiding or is she just lying to get her way,it was a terrible thought to have but George couldn't help but be so critical of her.
George quickly glances behind his shoulders once more before leaning forward harry and Hermione leaning closer as well to hear. She sneaks around the school grounds and takes these weird pills daily from a brown bottle that we've even asked her about and she says there for migraines but there are "muggle pills" so I don't even know if she's lying along with her taking something from the medical wing." Harry and Hermione glanced at one another the information new to them not even noticing it while being around her"she got a Howler from her father Fred and I had no idea existed talking about the dangers at home and that she was supposed to lay low and her mother started yelling at her father calling him a hypocrite for even writing a letter then all her little siblings came out yelling about something and the crazy thing is that she's hasn't talked about them since,like they don't even exist.It's just a lot of odd things adding up."
The three sat in silence Harry and Hermione didn't know what to think; they had only just barely met Tilly. They hardly knew her but the information made what they did know about her seem off."Moody and Dumbldore talk to her a lot and she leaves their offices at weird times." Harry mumbled George nodded his head knowing exactly what Harry was talking about.Fred and him had defense against the dark arts after her and often saw her leaving the class minutes before the new class period started.
The kids stared at the fire thinking "you said Moody worked against dark wizards maybe she's -" " oh yes a dark wizard in Hufflepuff that punched crab and hexed goyle for telling a muggle born they were gonna get killed in third year.Gubby's hiding something but not that." George cut off shaking his head rubbing his eyes stressed from the days thinking about his brother liking a girl that has very obvious skeletons in her closet and seeing no problem with it.
"I have to agree with George on this one Harry,Tillys no dark wizard.She offered to do my hair after I had just barely met her and the whole time she talked about how much she hates the triwizard tournament and how the ball was the only good thing to come out of it." Hermione replied brushing her hands through her less than usual frizzy hair.After Tilly had done her hair for the ball she left some of the hair products for Hermione to use saying "curly girls help curly girls".
George laughed thinking about Tillys lips puckering and a hand going on her hips talking about the tournament he too had hear Tilly going off about the tournament during the long nights working on the love potion perfume ."Ron locked himself in his room,does my nose look crooked?" Fred asked, rubbing his nose annoyed sitting next to George who nervously started laughing "it looks fine,lover boy." Fred smacked his twins behind the head.

The Twins walked through the halls after class making their way to the secret room. "We need to make the spinners more spinning. They barely go around four times." "Well when you can get your hands on more pixie dust let me know because the last I checked we were low and it's only sold in Diagon alley." The twins bickered back and forth at each other "well how about we work on finally getting rid of all the love potion stuff." "Yeah we have nothing else to do might as well get rid of that waist ." The twins agreed to place a hand on the door handle but heard something on the other side stopping them.Leaning closer to the door they heard music playing "brilliant someone found our room now what are we going to do?" Fred whispered to George "it's probably peeves,messing around." "Peeves doesn't know how to use the radio!" Both twins pulled their wands out in unison .
Fred holding the door handles, George standing in front of it pointing his wand "3..2..1.GO!" Fred threw the door open following George jumping in pointing their wand at the dancing person's back who's music was so loud they didn't even hear the door open."T-Tilly your back?" Fred yelled Gobsmacked watching Tilly dancing stop turning into a scream quickly turning around holding the spoon like a weapon ready to hit the twins stopping half way "Jesus, you two scared the living daylights outta me!" Tilly yelled a slight twang in her voice walking over to the weird looking radio hitting a button making the music stop"when did you get here?" The twins asked Fred excitedly leaning against an empty chair while George looked into the cauldron she was using. She couldn't have been at school for too long because Tilly was wearing her casual clothes but her hair was damp"last class,did I miss anything?" The twins shook their heads crossing their arms "nothing exciting really just a lot of homework ." Tilly smiled pulling out two pink glowing perfume bottles "then you'll be excited to know that I smoothed out the bumps!" The twins looked between the glowing bottles and Tilly jaw dropped.
"go on spray it,you wont need these but here!" Tilly looked like she was about to explode, handing over the messed up quibblers to the twins"Are you sure this will work?" "Yes it will work." Fred and George hesitated but sprayed the perfume on one another's wrist eyes closed Tilly watching on the edge of her seat. Both opening their eyes looking at the quibbler feeling nothing slowly lowering the magazine looking at one another "go on now,take a whiff." Tilly motioned to the boys.Fred and George raised their wrists up Fred could smell the forest ,vanilla,and rain.
"you figured it out,how !" They both exclaimed picking up the bottle looking at it.Tilly pointed her wand at a old squeaky black board pulling it over to them"I'M SO GLAD YOU ASKED!" She used her wand to point at her messy round writing covering the board "I knew it was mocking me because it was so simple it was absolutely stupid of me not realizing why it kept on failing! Powder moonstone and rose petals! These are the little bastards that have been messing us up!" She turned back to the confused boys with a mad smile on her face.
"Uh what?" The twins said looking at the board in different angles like the answer would appear.Tilly however excitedly spun the board to the other side laughing showing off very cartoonish looking pictures she drew "I knew this would come in handy!" "Wow, you drew pictures too." Fred looked at the drawings amazed by them but George was just trying to process the information on the board" how much time did you have?".Tilly pointed to a picture of a moon with a cigarette and a rose with a curled mustache. "These little bastards are what make you so obsessive. Both things have elemental energy making them coo coo bananas powerful combined in the potion which is why I added this relaxer in it." Tilly held up a pink bag that made a crackling noise with every jostle"made by yours truly !".Tilly began explaining how she did it with fun pictures and random little voices for the moonstone powder ,rose petals and relaxer"and That's how I did it." Tilly ended the explanation tucking her wand back into her flannel.
"Is this how you tudor Ron?" Fred asked with a smirk "yes it is.do you have a problem with it weasley?" Tilly smirked back jutting her hip out "Oh no its just absolutely perfect.Especially that voice for the rose," "genius really brought out the characters bastardness." Fred and George nodded their heads at one another cross legged in their seats holding their hands together "your welcome.speaking of Ron hows he doing?" Tilly asked sitting across the boys rolling their eyes at the question "I think he broke my nose." Fred said in a jokingly sad voice "oh no your only redeeming quality is ruined how will you ever go on without your handsome looks!" "He slammed the door right on my-wait you think I'm handsome?" "Of course I did but now that your nose is broken I don't know if I can look at you the same."Tilly chuckled covering her mouth making George dramatically gasp taking Tilly way from seeing Fred's red cheeks "Tilly how could you joke at this very serious situation,brother attacking brother is a tragic thing!" Tilly rolled her eyes at them.
"with how much you two mess with Ron,this is Karma Fred,George you better watch out your next." George looked a bit scared of the warning but it was quickly forgotten reaching for the pink bag. Tilly smacked his hand taking the bag away from the table "ouch !What was that for !" George exclaimed rubbing his hand "You can't have this yet." Tilly took the pink bag and the perfume bottles from the boys, placing them in a black box locking it with a key. The box made a gurgling clinking sound."uhhh What are you doing dear?" Fred asked watching Tilly wave her wand doing silent spells on the box"making sure we don't have a repeat of the ball,Think of it as a business opening present." The twins mouths were opened like an 'o'"that's fair." "Yes,very fair indeed."
Tilly put the box in her bag standing up from the table "great,well my work is done here boys!" She walked over to her odd radio picking it up "Where are you going?" Fred asked turning in his chair to watch her walk over to the door "back to my dorm?" She replied with a raised eyebrow and a smile crossing her face "why have you missed me too much Freddy?" Tilly laughed as she opened the door and walked out missing Fred's smile before tripping out of his chair."Wait Tilly we gotta ask you something !" Fred exclaimed running after her George following his twins confused as to what Fred was going to ask her.
Fred walked alongside her taking her weird radio it over his shoulder ,George on the other side Tilly looked up at George "well what's your question?" George had a blank look on his face trying to figure something out for once he had no idea what Fred was thinking. "Well George and I were talking and we both think that you would be a great addition to Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes."George looked over at his twin with a angry look on his face that yelled "what the fuck are you doing!?" Fred gave him a pleading look.Tilly shook her head with a small smile on her face chuckling. "That's sweet of you two but I'll have to decline your offer." Fred looked down at her surprise. "what why?didnt you have fun?" "It was fun but it's a weasley wizard wheeze and I'm not a weasley,it's your guys business not mine." George breathed a breath of relief at her response giving Fred a pointed look.
"So you're not gonna help us anymore?" Fred sadily replied making George feel tired just watching his brother act like this,thinking it would be done because Tilly was back.Tilly quickly looked up at Fred shaking her hands at him "I'll still help you guys out here and there if you want,I just dont think its my place to be in deep with your business." Tilly reassured Fred.George was grateful that Tilly had said no to his brother's crazy attempts to get her around more."Anyways boys I have to worry about O.W.L.S this semester,I'm gonna be studying like mad just to keep up with everyone,I'm not as smart as you two." The twins huffed thinking about the test. Professors are already giving review pages for it.
"TILLY YOUR FINALLY BACK!" Ron screamed running away from his friends over to Tilly and the Twins "ahhh I knew you would be thinking about me bate." Tilly whispered winking at a blushing Ron making her laugh "ok,ok,are you free right now? We could probably squeeze in a little bit of a review for your history test tomorrow." Ron hugged Tilly from the side in a dramatic sob voice "you're a saint,bless you,women bless you." Tilly patted his arm, nodding her head in a saint like fashion.
Harry and Hermione walked up to the odd scene confused looking at the twins for some explanation but they just shrugged her shoulders not even themselves fully understanding what just happened"Tillys back." "Well I'll see you two in class tomorrow,thank you fred." Tilly took her weird radio from Fred and Ron told his friends he was going to study with Tilly and the two left walking down the hall"what's that thing?" "A boom box."

George pulled Fred up the stairs shoving him into their dorm "what's up guys?"Lee Jordan welcomed laying on his bed setting his book on his chest "oh nothing much just Fred letting anyone into Weasley wizard wheeze without even asking or discussing it with me!" George yells slamming the door shut behind him "it's not that big of a deal,Tillys smart she figured out the potion!" Fred replied crossing his arm with his twin doing the same "wait Fred asked Gubby to join Weasley Wizard wheezes? What did she say!" Lee exclaimed sitting up on his bed shocked, the twins were very clear at the very beginning that they wanted their business to be between them and them only.
"she said no because she realized how bonkers you sounded" George exclaimed raising his arms Fred looked up at him offended. "I did not sound bonkers!" George laughed and began doing a mocking voice that was supposedly Fred "hey Tilly Guhubble I have a huge crush on you but wont do anything about it,do you want to join my family business Weasleys Wizard wheezes !" He finished staring at Fred before going into a pace back and forth across the room "ok I see how that looked bonkers but Why are you making this such a big deal Tillys our friend and she's a great problem solver, Why is it bonkers that I asked her?" Fred yelled back his freckled face red and angry "Its bonkers Fred cuz the girl is hiding something and you have no problem with it,she could be a literal drug addict and you would have no problem with it because your head over heels for her !" George had touched a nerve and it showed quickly with Fred charging over to him ready to throw a punch only stopped by Lee that ran off his bed getting between the twins before anything happened.
"why don't we take a breath?" Fred looks over Lee at his brother "She's not a drug addict I even told you that,I thought you both wanted me to ask her out!" Lee looked at his feet not knowing what to say.George ran his hands through his hair pacing a pregnant silence filled the room waiting for a bomb to go off.George took a deep breath sitting on his bed before sighing "ok maybe I went a be far ,Tillys great she's nice she's smart but she's also sneaky.You won't admit to seeing it but I don't want you to get your heartbroken after you realize she's not who you think she is!" Fred looked at his brother shocked at what he was saying looking at Lee like this was new information only for Lee to nod his head in agreement "whenever you're around her I can't tell what your thinking of or what your about to do,it freaks me out." Fred stood there letting his arms fall to the side looking at George the tired lines under his eyes now very prominent sitting on his bed.Lee left the room knowing that a fight most likely wouldn't break out giving the brothers space.
"What are you talking about?" Fred whispered sitting on his bed across from George looking at his twins with worry "It feels like you're hiding something from me and it freaks me out Fred,We never keep secrets from each other." Fred took a breath he knew he hadn't told George everything that happened but that was none of his business hell it wasn't even his! The only reason he knows is because of being there when Tilly had a breakdown. If he had just taken her there and left he wouldn't even know about it but in an odd messed up way he was…..glad that he did? Merlin no that's not right it was terrible what happened to her just thinking about it got him mad,but after that happened Tilly opened up to him more ,she joked with him,spoke to him"George I promise there's no secrets between us." George stared Fred in the eye"you promise on mum there's no secrets between us." George held his hand out to Fred who quickly took it"I promise on mum and being your Twin there will never be a secret between us." A smile broke across George's face giving Fred a quick hug "Good let's find Lee before he thinks we killed each other." George slaps Fred's shoulder and walks out of the room, following him down the stairs "no secrets." He thought, looking at his hand.
