As Sara sat back down at the table Catherine could not help but think of all the stuff they had been thought since first meeting. "We have come a long ways since that day."

Sara did not have to question what she talking about "Yes we have. I am sure you hated me at first."

"I was more mad then anything. I had talked Holly into staying at CSI when she did not want to and then Grissom brings in someone that none of us had ever heard of to do the investigation of one of the guys on the team. I guess he was bringing in someone he trusted but still made me mad. But I think what got me about you was the fact that you did not walk out when I claimed I was out in the field."

"I wanted to. I was just there to do one case find out why Warrick left Holly but something made me stay there at the doorway. I don't know what it was then and I don't now. It was there when Grissom asked me to join the team too. I thought all of you would hate me for the way I was brought in but none of you did."

With that the talked about more memories and at some point Sara told Catherine about her family history and why some cases got to her more then others. As they talked Catherine noticed that Sara was fighting to stay awake. "I think I should go and let you get some sleep most be weird to sleep at night."

"Sometimes it is but I am glad that I can sleep now. There where times that I never slept and then Grissom changed all that." Sara said as she got up a little to fast for her bodies liking. She could hear Catherine asking if she was alright and then she thought that she heard Mattie telling her to sit back down and handing her a water. "I am fine. Just got up a little too fast."

Catherine was at the door when Sara remembered something she needed to ask Catherine. Hey Catherine I was meaning to ask you this earlier but I was wondering if you would like to be the children's godmother?"

"Yes I would." Catherine answered not really hearing anything but godmother.

-A week later-

Catherine was working a case where both parents had been killed and there was no other living relative to pass the children off to. She thought it was weird when she asked the lawyer of the parents if the children had godparents as it turned out they did. She was still question why she thought of godparents when she remembered Sara asking her to be Little Marie's godmother. Wait she said children not child.

She walked right into Grissom's office who just happened to be on the phone but she did not care. She needed to know if she remembered what she heard right or not.

-Grissom's office-

'I cannot believe she has not said anything and the others have kept their months shut about.' Sara was telling Grissom as he had called to ask her when her doctors appointment was this was something he was not missing. He could miss a lot but when it come to his family he wanted to be there.

"I know darlin' but you know Catherine she will get it at some time. Speaking of her she is coming towards my door now." He was not about to tell Sara goodbye and have her miss this.

"Gil is Sara pregnant?" Catherine asked right to the point.

This might be fun. "What do you mean?"

"The other day she asked me to be the children's godmother and I thought there was only one child in the picture."

Grissom had decide to let Sara answer the question having put her on speakerphone. "Yes she is." Sara said. Grissom watch the look on Catherine's face change. "And before you say anything Catherine I tried telling you the other night but with the team breakfast and then our talk after I forgot. But that is why I got dizzy when I stood up and I know but then that. And Gil save it I know how to care for myself it is not the first time it has happened and it will not be the last time."

With that the team was told that Sara was back and having his child. The last few months had been hell on him but they where in the past and as he listen to Sara and Catherine talk on the phone he smiled. They had all come a long ways from where they were. And he was only hoping the roller coaster of life would give him a few more of the happy memories and less of the bad ones. And maybe he could talk Sara into taking him up in Sarah after had the baby and felt comfortable flying with Harm in the plane with her.
