(Chapter 01)
It was a peaceful night in Paris, the moon shined brightly casting its lights on the many buildings, streets and people that were out walking about with dates, loved ones or just hanging with friends.
A lone feminine figure stealthily stalked across the rooftops of the massive city making her way towards the police headquarters of Paris. With amazing agility, she leaped from atop a building landing on a sign and with one final leap she came to a stop on a rooftop opposite of the police building and we can see what she looks like.
She has gray fur with black stripes on his tail and a natural mask and if you look closely you could see she has brown eyes. Her ensemble consisted of a black mask, a blue elbow-sleeved shirt with a yellow collar, blue boots, blue gloves with yellow cuffs and a slightly oversized blue cap. Around her waist is a belt with the buckle shaped in the form of a raccoon symbol and also has a red leg pouch on her left leg.
She then pulls out an odd pair of binoculars and begins looking over the building's rooftop "SYLVIA! CAN YOU READ ME" came the shout of an unknown male over her ear piece which made her flinch.
"Loudly Bently...Very loud, can you turn down the volume on your end" she asks trying to stop the ringing in her ear.
Bentley adjusted the volume of his audio feed before speaking again "sorry, but I'm a little nervous with trying to break into Paris's police headquarters" he says with sarcasm laced in his voice "it tends to do that to people".
Rolling her eyes Sylvia responded "ohh get over it Bently! You're safe in the Van, I'm the one taking all the risk here" getting a little annoyed with his whining about this job "I've got to get that case file from inspector Carmelita Fox and her new partner" she continued which if Bently's sources were right then the information she was searching for would be in the office of Inspector Carmelita Fox and her unknown partner.
Wanting to know if his sources on the security systems were right, she asked him again and he answered "Affirmative, I have analyzed their security systems and it shows there's an air duct you can use to enter the building" the turtle informed her which she spotted a second later.
"Alright" Silvia nodded as she put her binocu-com away and heard a vehicle from the streets below and sure enough, coming to a stop was her friend Murray the Hippo driving the van into position.
She continued on her way, walking up the ramp of the water tower she shuffles along the ledge of said water tower, then leaps onto a few sturdy TV antennas before finally leaping in front of the ventilation shaft. Silvia then destroys the grates gaining access to the ventilation shaft, allowing her entry into the interior of the building,
When Sylvia came to the main air duct she looks down and saw multiple security lasers placed along the duct "I am picking up the frequency of those laser beams, their pattern is rather lazily spread, so you should be able to easily avoid them" Bently informs her as he was looking over his computer.
Taking a look along the sides of the duct Silvia saw there were platforms she can use to help her avoid the laser, so skillfully she leaped from one platform to the other dodging the security laser beams until she dropped at the bottom of the shaft and exits the vents.
When she stepped foot out of the vent she then heard Bently say "Inspector Carmelita's office is not too far from your location, I'm sending you the coordinates now" as he typed down the coordinates and sent it to her "too bad Naruto isn't here, we could really use his help on this one" Bently brought up as his thoughts turn to their old friend.
Silvia stiffen for a second hearing that name but nods her head as she wanted him to be there with them as well but knew why he couldn't be with them "Come now Bently, you know he can't help us out with this" she replied as she started lightly jogging down the hallways to her destination.
A few seconds later she came to the end of the hallway and stopped in front of a red door with an unusual sign, it was shaped like a Vulpine, on a black background with a mini fox tail sticking out of it. Silvia tried the knob and pressed herself against the door and sure enough it didn't budge. She then turns her attention to the black framed window beside her and began fiddling with the knob and lock.
The window was quite old and the lock seemed to have rusted shut, it took a bit of effort but she was able to jimmy the lock loose and open it, Silvia steps out onto the window's ledge and slowly began shuffling along the edge heading towards the window for Carmelita's office. As she shuffled along the edge of the building debris started falling down to the ground as her footsteps kicked up some dirt.
Sure enough she was able to get in through the office's window then took a quick glance around the room "I made it inside" Silvia stated to her comrades and saw a safe on the other side of the office and moved towards it.
When she stood in front of said safe Sylvia noticed it had a three digit number lock and radioed Bently for the code. After the techno wizard had hacked into the police security mainframe, it had become child's play to learn what it was.
"So Bently, what's the password?" she asks sounding a bit impatient with the waiting
"The code is 9-3-7" he tells her
Inputting the code correctly a clank of sorts was heard letting her know the safe was unlocked, so using her cane Silvia spins the handle then pulls the safe's door open and sure enough, a single folder containing the information she was seeking for was there.
"Way to go" Murray cheered for his longtime friend "now head down the fire escape then through the parking lot, where the van is parked and let's head on out" he says telling her where they were parked "Bar-Bue-Cue is on me".
Silvia liked that idea and quickly took the folder in one hand while the other took out a small blue card that was in the shape as a raccoon's head and placed it where the file once was. When that was done she started to make her way out of the office but not before she took a look over at the other desk in the office and saw something that caught her eye.
Walking towards the other desk she was staring at a picture of their former partner in crime sitting on said desk, when she stood in front of the desk she picked it up 'I don't believe it, he's a cop now' she thought to herself looking at the photo of Naruto Uzumaki.
Putting the photo back in its spot Silvia exits the room with a jump through the window landing on the fire escape "STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL!" shouted a woman with an Hispanic accent catching her attention.
Looking up Silvia saw a rather fetching Vixen with amazing acrobatic abilities leaping from the roof of a building to its sign, bearing a rather large red pistol with a lightning bolt decal on the sides of it in her hands.
She stood at about 5'5/5'6 in height, had golden colored eyes and as a golden hoop piercing on the top of her left ear. She had thick, wavy blue hair with bangs tied in a braid by a gold hairband with brownish-orange fur and a beauty mark under her left eye.
Her outfit consisted of a dark blue midriff-baring top that zips-up in the front with a brown leather jacket over it, a pair of form-fitting dark blue pants, a choker along her neck which had her INTERPOL badge hanging from it, yellow gloves and finally completing the look she has on long dark-brown combat boots.
"I've caught you red-handed ringtail!" she shouts glaring at the thief.
"Ahh Carmelita Fox, a pleasure to see you again." she says to the now identified Carmelita with a slight smirk.
"I'm not here for small talk." she said as she aimed her pistol on her.
"Aaw" Silvia playfully groaned "but I like our small girl talks…is that a new pistol?" she says before she notices the weapon in her hands.
"Same one, but with some upgrades" Carmelita says narrowing her eyes at the raccoon girl "it packs a quite a punch…you should give it a try"
Waving her hands in front of her Silvia responds "no thanks, as flattering as that sounds, I don't swing that way" which earned a small growl from the vixen.
Carmelita's long bushy tail was swishing behind her slightly and says "let's see if you have any cute remarks once you're behind bars" then aims her gun at the thief.
"You'll have to catch me first vixen" Silvia taunts as she begun reaching for the railing.
However though before they could begin their game of cat and mouse, they heard a chuckle coming from behind Silvia "I see your still causing trouble for the law, huh Silvia" said a male sitting on the window sail.
Looking to the person they both saw a 5'11 golden furred fox. He was wearing a dark blue shirt with a burnt orange trench coat over it, they saw he had a green gem necklace hanging around his neck, he also had on a pair of Baggy blue police pants with a police badge hanging from his belt and black boots.
Seeing who it was Silvia decided to stick around for a few seconds to speak with him "well, if it isn't Inspector Naruto Uzumaki" she said smirking at him looking over her shoulder.
Standing up Naruto took a couple steps forwards and smiled lightly "it's been a while Silvia, how's the gang doing?" he asks since he was curious about how his old friends were doing.
Smiling she answered him "their doing alright, although…we wish you would come back" which he nods his head as he knew they missed having him around.
Naruto then turns his attention towards his partner with an annoyed look on his face and crossed his arm "so this, is the reason why you made me cut my date short?" he asks not liking to have to end a date in the middle of dinner.
"My apologies inspector Uzumaki, but I felt it was more important to capture a renowned theft, than some silly date" she stated narrowing her eyes at him.
Her response in turn made him step back "alright, alright, there's no reason to get mad at me" he said raising his hands in defense "even though I'm the one who is supposed to be mad" he mutters under his breath.
Watching the scene before her, Silvia decided to use the situation to her advantage to escape from the vixen "it sounds like to me, inspector Carmelita has a problem with you dating other gir…" was all she could say before she had to dodge a bullet from the now enraged Carmelita.
Smirking Silvia begun running down the fire escape with a laugh at being able to get under Carmelita's fur so easily. Watching his partner shoot at his old friend Naruto then looks towards the other side of the parking lot and saw the gang's van parked with the back doors open.
A devious grin appeared on Naruto's face and leaps over the railing, landing on a car he uses it suspensions to jump towards the van.
Inside the van Murray and Bently watched as their friend dodge, duck, weave, dive and jump to avoid Carmelita's shots "RRRRAAAHHHH" screamed Naruto popping his head in front of the windshield scaring the crap out of the two and making Bently retreat into his shell.
Loud laughter alerted them someone was laughing at scaring the heck out of them, they looked to see it was their longtime friend Naruto laughing his ass off, holding his sides on the hood of the van "ha ha o-oh my g-g-god ha ha ha ha" he laughed out.
It took a few seconds before he settled down enough before he got off the van and walks up to Bently's window wiping the tears from his eyes "ah man that was great, so how have you guys been over the last two years?" the fox asks as he was wondering what they had been up to since he left the crew.
After talking to them for a minute Naruto looks over to the parking lot and saw Silvia leap on the front of a car using the momentum to bounce off and land on another car to get a higher bounce leaping towards a streetlight. Reaching her cane out Silvia hooks onto it and swings off the streetlight.
Having leaped off of it she was able to dodge another shot from Carmelita "You can't escape me, you ring tailed bitch!" Carmelita shouted as she leaped onto the walls with impressive super animal ability and continued to fire rounds at her with a blast sailing over Silvia's head as she landed and tucked in a ball to roll across the ground.
Getting back up on her feet Silvia had picked up momentum from the roll and leaped through the awaiting open doors of the van "see you guys later" Naruto said as they drove off waving bye to him.
Landing next to him Carmelita still continued to fire at the van shouting "GET BACK HERE YOU CRIMINAL BITCH"
Waving at the enrage vixen and smiling friend Silvia sat back in her seat and begun to read through the file she had swiped 'finally' were her thoughts.
She can finally start the first step of her mission, she was now able to track down the people who killed her parents and make them pay then take back her family heirloom 'Mother, Father, I promise, I'll avenge the family name and get justice for your death, just wait a little longer.' she thought to herself then shook her head to clear her mind of that day and plan out everything she needs to get back the family book.
