Disclaimer: I do not own anything from the PJO or HoO series, those all belong to Rick Riordan.

Power seemed to ooze off of Nyx as she stood before the duo of demigods. Percy and Annabeth could do nothing but stare at the Primordial that stood before them. The chariot rolled to a stop before them and Nyx stepped off it.

Not to many people ever wonder this close to my mansion, especially those of the mortal kind. So what, may I ask, are you doing here? Nyx asked, her question seeming to draw the two demigods out of their thoughts.

We are on a quest to the Doors of Death, Gaia has forced them open and is threatening the stability of the world. She seems quite eager to destroy the world with the help of her Giants. Annabeth replied, hoping that the Primordial wouldn't become a hindrance or possible threat.

Ah, so my sister is back to her old antics and trying to take over the world again. I never really wanted to rule again after the Titans overthrew their father. The Primordial Council was powerful don't get me wrong, but only Gaia and Ouranos truly cared about ruling over everything. The rest of us just liked to stick to our own domains. Although I guess Tartarus is changing a little with the times since he helped Gaia birth her Giants. This brings us back to my original question, what are a pair of mortals doing traveling this close to the void in the land of punishment and monsters? Nyx stated in response.

Well that is a LONG story involving an old prophecy and quite the journey to Rome. We fell together so that we might close the Doors of Death and then return to the surface to defeat Gaia and the Giants. Currently we are looking for a way to get to the doors and was informed that the Death Mist would help us. Percy responded not thinking that giving away their plans would hinder them in any way. Although Annabeth just looked at him and was mentally face-palming at his decision.

Oh, the Death Mist might help for a little while but if you rely on it to much than your mortal soul will start to separate from your body. The Death Mist was designed to be the in between of Life and Death. Right now your mortal soul is slowly being being separated and being prepared to go to the Underworld. If you don't hurry to the Doors of Death than you might just fail in not only closing the Doors of Death but fail the rest of the world as you know it. Nyx stated ominously.

You said you don't truly care what happens throughout the world so long as it doesn't effect your domains earlier. Than it wouldn't be anything for a supremely powerful being to assist us on our journey to the doors. Annabeth more stated than asked.

I might be willing to help if you are willing to accept the consequences of my assistance. I will allow you admittance into my Mansion of Night, one of you will have to close your eyes while the other guides you through my halls. If you open you eyes than you will doom both of yourselves to insanity and possibly death. You will need to choose who will guide the other. Nyx replied, already knowing that Percy would guide Annabeth through the Mansion. She had already decided that she would allow Akhlys' schemes to proceed. Just because she didn't generally care about anything other than her domain didn't mean that she didn't like to see some misery every once in a while.

Percy argued with Annabeth continuously for about ten minutes before she reluctantly agreed to close her eyes and allow Percy to guide her through the Mansion of Night. So, they carefully followed Nyx to the edge of Tartarus and the beginning of the Void and jumped into the entrance of the Mansion of Night. Nyx took her time going through the mansion. She had to make sure that the effect of looking upon the mansion were taking the proper effects upon Percy. After what seemed like eternity to the two young mortals Nyx led them to another door. Through the door was a sight that they had become accustomed to, the red atmosphere of Tartarus.

Suddenly a bridge of shadows and darkness formed so that they could cross over from the mansion to the hellish landscape of Tartarus. Percy guided Annabeth across the bridge, exiting the Mansion of Night, and felt that a little bit of himself would never recover after seeing the mansion with his own eyes. He also knew that he could never tell anyone about what the mansion looked like. It was clear to him now that mortal eyes were not meant to look upon the insides of the Mansion of Night.

When they finally finished crossing the bridge Annabeth opened her eyes and together they looked back only to find nothing but the rest of Tartarus. The mansion seemed to disappear before they even knew it. It was as they turned around to finish they're journey that Bob finally made is appearance known to them. It wasn't like he could hide from them as his height and shining silver hair weren't quite so inconspicuous. So they continued towards the Doors of Death and the heart of Tartarus itself.

AN: Hey guys, long time no write. I finally had some time to actually write something. Life has been busy here lately, going to college and working in my free time. I just haven't really had the time to write a lot, but I just wanted to let you know that I am going to continue this new story/remastered edition. It took a really long time to write this chapter as I wanted to change somethings so that it is slightly different and a better overall story compared to the original. Anyways, please leave a review to let me know what you thought of the chapter and what you think of the story so far.

My other story, Universal Order, is going to be continued as well. Although it might be put on the back burner for now as I am righting Titan King Remastered. I am going to finish it sometime in the future, I just have to figure out when I have the time to write some more chapters and stuff.
