the moon was rising in the sky when thonderclan left. swingpaw was trying 2 awkwardly make conversation 2 anyone whod listen as she did a lot since electropaw ran away. glitterpaw didnt want 2 think about electropaw so she just payed attention 2 other cats conversations
"im gonna b having kits soon!" greenglow was saying exitedly 2 blossomflower

glitterpaw stopped listening 2 that convo bcuz it made her think about if morningstar was with blossomflower.
another conversation "melonpa always so quiet" sad swingpaw
melonpaw looked off-put tat somone was tryinf to talk to him and his ears weny back.

glitterpaw uncomfortably tuned that conversation out 2 as swingpaw continued 2 stumble on her words. she listened 2 a different conversaytion

"pretty good! i wonder how the gatherings gonna go" berryfrost ansered cheerily as normal
"how cum ur app didnt go? he been acting up?""
"idk. it wasnt my choice. mayb its bcuz he gets a little 2 violent in traning sessions?"

glitterpaw stopped listening 2 that 1 2 and just focused on her own pawsteps, sighing.

thunderclan reached the tree trunk. glitterpaw hopped across it effortlessly while lavenderpaw used his now-healed wings 2 fly over it. they found nice places 2 sit with the rest of thunderclan. windclan and riverclan alreddy were at the gathering but vampireclan wasnt there yet.
"u kno. im kind of nervous" lavenderpaw moewed
"o ya?" glitterpae said laying on a soft patch of grass
"this is my first gathering since joining thunderclan. i hope vampireclan wont cause any trouble" he said
"dont worry its the full moon truce. they wouldnt break it rite" even tho she said that she wasnt actually sure at all
"i guess" lavenderpaw shrugged
meanwhile some other cats were complaining about how long vampireclan was taking, and some riverclan and thunderclan cats were explaining 2 windclan that they were vampireclan instead of shadowclan now bcuz windclan didnt share a border with them
SUDDENLY all of vampireclan decended from the sky and landed on the island. WINDCLAN WAS SHOCKED riverclan and thunderclan were less impressed bcuz they were starting 2 get used 2 vampireclan
"HEY EVRY1. WERE HERE" TWISTEDSTAR SCREAMED GETTING ON2 THE TREE WITH THE OTHER LEADERS
lavenderpaw slunk backwards a little

OUT FROM THE CROWD OF VAMPIRECLAN CATS FLUw... ELECTROPAW!1!1!3!2!1!2!1!1-! HE WAS NOW A VAMPIRE WITH LETHERY GRAY WINGS AND HE WAS SMILING EVILLY AT GLITTERPAW!

MORNINGSTAR HAD HEARD ENOUGH "OK. TWISTEDSTAR. THIS IS THE FIRST GATHERING WITH U AS A LEADER, AND WITH SHADOWCLAN RENAMED. AND ALL UVE DONE IS TRY 2 PICK A FITE WITH A THUNDERCLAN APPRENT. R U GOING 2 PROPERLY REPORT 4 UR CLAN OR NOT."
twistedstar rolled her eyes. "god i cant blieve u really think u have the place 2 shut me up like that but ok."
the other leaders sighed
"anyway. since i bcame leader. i turned all of my clanmates in2 vampires and renamed the clan vampireclan. u may already kno this. but we r stronger than ever b4, and ud all do well 2 fear our evil might!1111" she explaned
a couple vampyreclan cats gave her weird looks when she said "evil might"
"was she always this... over-the-top" glitteroaw asked lavenderpae
"...no, she only bcame like this shortly after she bcame leader." lavenderpaw sayed, thinking "its kind of weird. she was always ambitious and a little 2 mean but never evil, i thot."
"ok... but then agen, i never thought electropaw would turn evil" glitterpaw sad, still a bit shaken by the reveal
"i guess any cat is capable of terible things, even those u trust" lavenderpaw said
morningstar started delivering his summary of thunderclan, but glitterpaw wasnt interested. she looked over at swingpaw, who had pressed herself in2 the farthest corner from electropaw she could while crying
glitterpaw and lavenderpaw were both silent during the rest of the gathering. so was melonpaw but thaf was normal
evry1 started turning 2 hed back 2 there clans. glitterpaw couldnt be more relieved when she was back on her own clans territory
"h.. ha ha, some gathering, huh," moonshatter said, clearly not ok with seeing her former apprentice in vampireclsn
"im sorry... id rather not talk about it" glitterpaw was nearly wispering
"...yeah. i understand" moonshatter looked away
morninfstar walked over 2 glitterpaw and laid his tail comfortingly on her shoukder "dont blame urself. u need 2 remember that not evry1 can be saved."
glitterpaw stared at her paws as she walked "...yeah, okay."
