the next 2 moons were odd. glitterdream was now sleeping in th warriors den and missed her friends in the app den but the deputy usully put her on patrols with lavenderpaw who was now morninfstars app since he didant have a proper mentor and morningstar waz free 2 take a new aprentise. he still often gave advice 2 gliterdream and somtimes it felt like he was still trying 2 b her mentor anyway

vampirwclan stoped showing up at the borders and it was almost lik they dissappeared entirely. they didnt even go 2 the gathering. lavenderpaw was only more nervous bcuz of this

nightmarepaw had mostly gone back 2 acting how he usually did n also seemed a little angery that gliterdream was a warrior at 1 moon of training. as for melonpaw he was still as quiet as ever 2 any1 but nitemarepaw. swingpaw also bcame more quiet but wasnt opening up 2 any1 at all. it didnt help that her mentor greenglow was doing worse with traning and about 2 move 2 the nursery

ever since the night glitterdream had spied on morninfstars convo with blossomflower she didnt get any more information on that either.
glitrerdreems nightmares were also now very inconsistent and she could barely remember them in the,morning. she sometimes thot about how she never got a followup on that starclan dream but she gessed mayb the nightmares where preventing them somehow.

all in all it felt like evn tho she was a warrior now and so much time had passed it was like not much changed at all. it felt tense sometimes like somethign was about 2 happen, but nothing ever did

gliterdream shook away her thots. it was weerd how evrything was getting 2 her bcuz she never saw herekf 2 worry. she needed 2 get her mind off things.

she went 2 lavenderpaw who was at the fresh-kill pile.

"hay want 3 hang out" glitterdream mowed "i got a lot on my mind 2day"

"o sure" lavenderpaw sad cheeryly "im always here 4 u gliterdream"

they walked out 2 glitterdrams favorite spot in the teritory wich was a sunny patch of flowers overlooking the lake. the sun was starting 2 set and it was vry pritty.

"was there something u wanted 2 talk about, then?" lavenderpaw asked laying down in the grasss

glitterdream starred over the lake "idk i just wanted 2 talk in general."

"ok"

"u kno, its kinda funny tat ur a warrior and im not even tho ur like 2 moons younger than me"

"ok gliterdeeam i know somethinfs wrong. pls tell me"

"...actually, i gess ive been feeling lonely now that im in the warriors den. its rly weird being surrounded by cats and feeling alone. and i bearly get 2 kno any of them bcuz im always put on patrols with u and morningstar but... i dont even want 2 get 2 know them all that much. i just want 2 b with u"

"ah. thats complicated deffinitely." he looked thoughtful "isnt ur mom in the warriors den?"

they sat 4 a few moments and watchd the sun set.

"wat about ur mom" glitterdreem asked "do u miss her"

lavenderpaw thogt about it and frowned "ya. and she was... aleays a bit 2 battle hungry. im a bit scarred i may have 2 fite her now that im in thunder clan"

gliterdream rested her tail on lavenderpaws sholder comfortingly "maybe shell choose u over lissening 2 twistedstar?'

lavendetpae fidgeted with some grass while glitterdream got 2 her feet

on her way back 2 camp a fox atacked her. she killed it easy buy was a bit nervous i wonder if that was 1 of twistedstars sent 2 kill me

finaly she walked in2 camp. she looked around. melonpaw was hanging out with nightmpaw as usual but melonpaw looked a litle scared wile nightmarepaw had his usual dark expresion. swingpaw was idly tending 2 the elders but she didant sound all there. blossomflower was checking on greenglow 2 see if she needed 2 b moved 2 the nursary yet but looked very aprehensive 4 some reason. morningstar, berryfrost, and moonshatter were out of camp

she realized 4 the 1st time that she bearly even noticed any cats who she didnt usully think about.

paying actual atentions she saw the deputy glassclaw talking 2 shadowflare, who was... melonpaws mentor, rite? she was pretty sure. and then she felt guilty 4 realizing she had 2 even think in order 2 remember in the first place.

there was neonstorm, who was eating a mouse alongside his twin brpother vegas. she herd at 1 point that vegas had such a weird name bcuz he was taken by 2legs wen he was a,kit and escaped later but liked his kitypet name. but she hadnt really ever sad more than a word 2 either of them heraelf.

she also saw phoenixflame standing gard, tho it looked more like they were dozing off. thinkign about it, glitterdrem didnt think she even knew more about phoenexflame then theyre name...

their were more cats in camp but she didnt want 2 think about evry1 she had somehiw managed 2 completely ignore. instead she walked over 2 pheenixflame. "excuse me do u kno were magicwhisker is"

they were startled and then looked a bit soupriced that glitterdream was talking 2 them but not angry "o uh ya. shes currently out hunting"

"o... ok"

"dont worry shell prolly b back soo-"

magicwgisker walked in2 camp

"o speak of the devil! hay magicwisker ur kit wanted u!" phoenicksflame called over 2 her

magickwisker looked over and her eyes INSTANTLY lit up "o! glitterdream!1! u want 2 talk? we can share som freshkill!1!2!2!1!"

glittwrdream walked over 2 the freshkill pile and sat down. "hi mom"

"o sweety its been so long since we talked! im so glad 2 see u bcame an warrior so soon, ur so talentrd!' magiwisker was so happy and excited she forgot 2 eat anything 4 herself "i cant beleeve i have such a wonderful doaughter!1!"

"uh... ya" glitterdream was expectin her mom 2 b mad or somthing but not this. she thot back 2 what nitemarepaw sad about magicwisker fawning over her

"so is there anything u wanted 2 talj about sweattie?" magicwhsikers brite voice cut in2 gliterdreams thots

"nighrmarepaw" without thinkung glitterdrem immediately said the first thing on her mind

magicwiskers face noticably fell a bit but she seemd 2 try 2 keep her cherry demeanor "oh"

oops glitterdrema thougt "i gess i was wondering. have u noticed nything off about him?

magiceisker hesitated b3 talking "ya. promise u wont tell ur brothrr i told u this?"

"...wen i was preggant with u 2, i had nightmares evry nite. they were always the same. i was in som sort of devistated wasteland, and there was rainbow fire evrywere. i couldnt move at all. i looked up and saw a cat turned away from me, and i would call 2 him 4 help. he never evenr turned 2 look at me. the dream usually ended with the fire spreading 2 me and i would burn alive. 1 time the cat ran off and i was alone 4 the rest of the dream. the last time i ever had it, he turned around 2 look at me just 4 a second and i immediatly woke up. rite afterwards i gave birth 2 u and nightmarkit"

glitterdreem had a feeling she knew wat came next "and nightmarepaw looked just like tbe cat in the dream rite"

"...ya. thats y i named him that. i tried 2 shrug all that ofd and b the best mom i could but i always felt rly stiff and tense aeound him."

glitterdream sighed. sje didnt want 2 say that her mom was rite and nightmarepaw mite reelly be evil, but... "thanjs 4 telling me tho mom"

glitterdream turned 2 walk away and thought about it. hm... his name is nightmarepaw, ive been having tons of nightmares 4 a while, mom had nitrmares with him in them, he dosent really like me, and he has,powers that hes been getting traned in by the dark forest she GROANED OMG IM SO STUPID NITEMAREPAW HAS NIHTMARE POWERS AND HES BEEN USING THEM ON ME!1!1!2!1!1!
