"So I see." Alex said.
A few minutes later, Alex and Gaby led Lisa and Carole into the passageway inside Lisa's Steadmore closet.
The passageway led Alex and the crew right to the Bodega's basement.
"Wow! This is weird!" Carole exclaimed.
"I don't think I have ever been here before," Lisa observed. "where the heck are we, Alex?"
"You have been here before, Lise," Alex answered with a laugh. "we're in the Bodega!"
Lisa and Carole looked around, "This is the Bodega?" they gasped.
"Sí, estamos en el sótano," Gaby said to Lisa and Carole. "yes, we're in the basement."
"It's d-d-d-d-dark in here." Lisa stuttered, she was nervous.
"Don't worry, Lisa," Gaby said. "I don't like the dark either."
"Just be glad no one read your diary," Lisa told Gaby seriously. "Veronica got into my old diary and I got really mad at her!"
Gaby flipped the light on, "You said 'old diary', does this mean that you got a new one?" she asked Lisa.
"Yes, it has a lock on it," Lisa answered Gaby. "and I carry the key with me when I travel with my diary."
"Good plan, that way," Alex said. "that way, no one can pry into your business!"
Lisa looked at Gaby.
"I have an extra lock diary complete with a key," Lisa said to Gaby. "if you would like to have it."
Gaby thought about it for a moment.
"Would I? That would be awesome," Gaby exclaimed. "thanks, Lisa!"
"You're welcome, Gaby," Lisa said, sighing. "though, it's in my suitcase, and my suitcase is back at the Steadmore."
