General P.O.V.

"Arizona, dear, you have once again out done yourself with tonight's gallery!" One, Mr. Arthur Mooney gloats.

"Thank you, sir, but I can't take all of the credit. A lot of the work displayed tonight came from the many talented people in this room. I am just glad that I could give them the chance to show it to the world" Arizona replies, lightly smiling as she glances around the slightly crowded room.

"Well, please continue the great work." He smiles, walking off to converse with someone else.

Turning back to her task at hand, Arizona holds her hand up to her earpiece, speaking into it.

"Karev, how's everything looking?"

"So far, so good boss. Everyone seems to be enjoying the exhibit and every piece has at least one bid on it"

"Great! That's what I like to hear" the blonde smiles before moving to walk around and converse with more of her guests.

The rest of the night flew by and before long, the gallery was closing down for the night. Happy artists were walking away with pride knowing they sold at least one if not all of the art they presented tonight, and consumers were walking away with a new piece of art that would be going on their wall or tables. Everyone was happy.

"Zo!" Arizona hears, turning around she smiles at the brunette standing before her, "Guess what?!"

"Hmm… would all of this excitement have anything to do with the fact that you sold all of your paintings tonight?" the blonde smiles.

"Yes! Oh my gosh, I can't believe it Zo" Jo says excitement radiating off of her. "I can't thank you enough for encouraging me to do this sis" the brunette says, wrapping her arms around the blonde.

"You don't have to thank me Jo. I'm your sister, who better to help your dream become a reality?" she smiles.

"Mom is going to flip her shit" the 25-year-old brunette squeals.

"Language" Arizona glares, chuckling at her sister.

"Boss, everything has been-" Alex starts as he walks up to the sisters but is immediately cut off by the brunette whipping around and smashing her lips against his.

Rolling her eyes, Arizona sighs, "Ok, ok, break it up" she tells them watching as they slowly break a part and stare at each other.

"Congratulations babe" Alex tells Jo, already knowing her great news.

"Thank you" Jo smiles, pecking his lips once more.

"Alex" Arizona says, breaking them out of their own world, "You were saying something?" the blonde says slowly trying to draw him back to reality.

"Oh, yeah, everything has been locked up. Performed the checks myself. We're ready to leave when you are."

"Oh, great!" Arizona smiles, dimples on display, "Let me place the finances in the safe and we'll be ready to go." She tells them walking into her office, closing the door. Placing her hand on the print scanner, the system immediately recognizes her effectively revealing the safe behind a picture on the wall.

Placing everything inside of it, she closes the compartment and checks to be sure that there is nothing else that needs her attention tonight before heading back out to a patiently waiting Jo and Alex.

"Ready" she says, and they head out. Watching while the blonde locks up the building before placing on the alarm, Alex asks, "You want us to give you a ride?"

"Nah, I'll be fine. It's only three blocks. I could use the exercise anyways." She smiles.

"Are you sure?" Jo asks.

"Of course. You kids go on. I'll let you know once I make it home" she smiles, hugging them both before walking away.

'Tonight, is a perfect night for a scroll' Arizona thinks to herself, 'If only I had someone to take a scroll with' she chuckles, reflecting on her numerous failed relationships.

Walking down the street, Arizona takes in the night sky. She enjoys walking home after a successful night at the gallery because it helps her unwind and reflect on the happenings of the day.

She has never been too worried about her safety since she grew up a military brat. Her dad had taught her, and later on Jo, how to defend themselves against a man or woman.

Thinking about how great tonight went, Arizona is broken out of her thoughts by a faint whimper followed by mumbling as she passes an alley beside one of her favorite coffee shops.

'You're just tired Arizona. You just need sleep' the blonde tells herself as she shakes her head. Turning to begin walking again, another whimper is heard, this time a little louder.

Sighing to herself, Arizona grabs her mace out of her purse, hoping that this is just a figment of her imagination. As she walks further in the alley, she spots a body laying over beside the dumpster.

"Oh my gosh!" she says, running over to the almost lifeless body, checking what she now knows is a woman, pulse before whipping out her phone to dial 911.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you" a voice says causing the blonde to look up. Not seeing anyone, the blonde quickly stands, holding out her mace.

Laughing, a figure slowly emerges from the shadows at the opposite side of the alley with a sinister look on his face, and what looks to be blood covering his mouth.

"Don't you just look delicious" the man says, "You'll make a great dessert after the three-course meal that I just had." He chuckles, moving closer to her.

"Stay back" Arizona says, trying not to let her flight fear show because she has no idea what this man in capable of.

Before she knows it, the man moves forward at a unhuman like speed, pushing her back against the brick wall, and she tries to fight him but he's just too strong.

"You should've just minded your business lady" he mumbles, pushing her head to the side to expose her neck taking a long breath, savoring the smell of the blood running warm through her veins.

Silently bracing herself for what is to come, she closes her eyes shut, but what she feels next is not pain but a gust of wind whipping past her face.

Slowly her opening her eyes, she sees the guy that was just about to pounce on her now in the arms of some else.

"Simon, Simon, Simon…" the voice of the figure says and wait… is that a female?

"Ca-"

"Don't you dare speak to me." The figure cuts who the blonde now knows to be Simon off.

"I told you what I'd do if I caught you out causing trouble again. Didn't I?" she asks

"I-"

She tightens her hold on him causing him to groan, "Didn't I?"

"Yes, yes but-" before he can even finish his sentence, the sound of bones breaking ring throughout the alley.

Looking on in horror, Arizona watches as Simons body hits the ground, his neck now broken.

"Oh my God" Arizona mumbles causing the figure to look away from his body and to her before moving closer to her. 'Oh great, now she's probably going to kill me next' Arizona thinks to herself.

Watching as the lady gets closer, she suddenly turns and kneels down to the still unconscious woman on the ground. Placing her fingers on her neck to find a pulse, she says, "Her pulse is weak. If she is going to live, you need to call 911."

In her state of shock, Arizona just stands there staring watching as the woman bites her wrist before letting her blood fall into the unconscious woman's mouth.

"NOW! Call for help now!" she says once again, now looking at me and I see her eye are a bright glowing red.

Quickly pulling myself together, I dial the number and place the phone up to my ear.

"911 What's your emergency?"

"Um, yes. I need help there is a woman unconscious in the alley beside Bland Café on Moveey Street."

"Ok is she breathing?"

"Yes, she's breathing but her pulse is weak"

"Ok ma'am help is on the way. Stay on the line with me until they get there please"

"Ok"

Kneeling beside the woman, I silently tell her to fight as I stay on the phone with the lady and before long, I hear the sirens approaching.

"I'm going to go to entrance, so they see where to come" I tell the mysterious woman who is still standing there tending to the woman, and she her nods while also hearing the woman in my ear respond.

Running to the end of the alley, I flag down the ambulance and police cars, watching as they guide the gurney over to me.

"Where is the victim?"

"This way" I tell them, leading them back to where she left the two women.

Once she reaches the body, the blonde stops suddenly as the paramedics continue on to aid the woman that is still on the ground but there is something wrong with this picture.

Looking around Arizona notices that the mysterious woman and one dead Simon are nowhere to be found. 'What the hell?' Arizona thinks to herself.

Watching as they load the lady onto the gurney and lead her back to the ambulance, an officer approaches Arizona.

"Ma'am are you the one that called this in?" he asks, and she nods.

"Ok, were going to need to collect a statement from you really quick. Can you tell me what happened?" he asks and the blonde frowns.

"Um, um, yeah sure" Arizona says.

"Good, can you start off my telling us your name?"

Sighing, she begins "My name is Arizona Robbins. I own the Art Gallery down the street. I had a showing tonight and I had finished and locked up for the night and was on my way home. I always come this way and before you ask, yes I was walking alone because I know how to defend myself very well." She says in a knowing tone before continuing, "I was passing the alley when I heard a noise. At first, I was going to keep walking but then I heard it again like someone groaning. I pulled out my mace and walked down there and that's when I saw the lady unconscious."

"Did you see anyone?"

'Yeah a guy that almost tries to eat me alive, literally and some mysterious lady that he was scared of'

"Um, no. There was no one here when I found her." 'What? Arizona why are you lying to the police?'

"At any point was the victim conscious? Did she say anything?"

"No, she never woke up. I kept trying to wake her a few times, but it didn't work."

"Ok. One last thing, can you give a timeframe of about the time you left you place of work, arrived at this alley and found the victim, and called 911?"

Furrowing her brow, the blonde thinks, "Uh, I believe that I left the gallery around 9:05-ish? Maybe a little after. It usually takes about 10 minutes to reach the alley, so I'd say I made it hear no later than 9:20 and found her body about 2 minutes after that. So, I must've placed the call by no later than 9:30." 'That should suffice for the unaccounted confrontation with Simon and the mystery woman.'

"Alright thank you ma'am. That'll be all. Could write a good number to reach you at in case we have any more questions?"

"Of course," she says, taking the notepad and writing her name and phone number.

"Would you like a ride home? In case the people who did this is still hanging around somewhere close?"

"S-Sure. That would be great" Arizona smiles.

"Great, right this way." The officer says, leading her towards his squad car.

Walking behind the officer, Arizona couldn't help but feel as if she was being watched. Chalking it up to her just being paranoid, she continues forward once again smiling at the officer who was now hold the passenger door open for her not knowing that just atop of the building across the street, the mysterious woman was stood watching her.
