Family dinner night was finally here. Amanda sat on the bed looking sad. Olivia leaned against the door, "Since when do family dinners make you sad?" Amanda looked up, "I don't like this Liv. I'm bringing problems to family dinner. We are supposed to relax, laugh, and have fun. Tonight won't be fun and it's my fault."
Olivia touched her face, it still calmed her, "Family has problems along with fun and we deal with it together. Nothing in this world, right?" Amanda smiled, that was the beginning of their quote. They started saying it when either of them needed a boost or a reminder that everything would be ok.
Olivia patted her knee, "I have a surprise." Olivia called for her best friend, "Kim!" Amanda hugged her tight. "What are you doing here?" Nick popped in, "We came for family dinner!" Amanda smiled as she gathered with everyone in the dining room.
Once Elliot filled everyone in, the talking began. Alex started, "I say let's hear her out." Melinda continued, "I don't know about that, but it's really what Amanda wants." Kim met her family and watched her best friend grow up in ruins, "She's a heartless bitch. I think it's a trap. I hate her for how she didn't take care of you. Amanda, I don't want this for you." Amanda listened as her family gave their feedback. They had different opinions, but they all agreed on one thing, they would stand by Amanda no matter what.
Olivia looked at a worried Amanda, "Baby, what do you want?" Amanda looked at her family. She had never had this before, but these people had been by her side for a year and never turned their back on her. "I want to talk to her, but not alone. I don't trust her, but I trust all of you." Olivia made a call, "Beth, it's Olivia. The deal is that if you want to sit with Amanda, you sit with all of us." Olivia listened and then said, "We'll see you next Wednesday." Everyone said goodnight.
Over the rest of the week Amanda's behavior was out of sorts. On Friday, Olivia and Fin were at Hudson on call. They decided to drop by the tutoring center. Olivia waved at Kathy, "Olivia, how's she doing?" Olivia answered, "She's quiet, too quiet. How has she been with you?" Kathy was confused, "Amanda has been to work or school since family dinner. She asked for the week and emailed her professors. She took off with a family emergency. You didn't know?" Olivia shook her head, "No, I didn't. Thanks Kathy."
Olivia went home, hugged Noah, spoke to Lucy, and took a shower. Then she called Amanda, "Where are you?" Amanda scoffed, "Hey! How are you doing? I'm good!" Olivia wasn't in the mood. Amanda hadn't even seen her mom and she was changing. "Well, I was at Hudson. Fin and I had a call, thought I would drop by and see you." She heard silence and continued, "You didn't tell me you weren't at school or work." Olivia asked, "Where's that smart mouth now? I want you home in 30 minutes. We need to talk."
Amanda recovered quickly, "Oh your my mom now? You think you should tell me what to do?" Olivia knew what this was, "You're damn right. If I have to act like your mom in order to get your ass in check, fine. Get your ass home in 30 minutes and I'll deal with you then." Amanda was breathing hard, "Amanda?" Amanda swallowed, "Yes Liv." Olivia heard the sadness and wanted to wrap her up and hug her, but she needed tough love now, "I'm cop. I can find you right now, please don't make me look for you. Are we clear?" Amanda answered, "Yes."
Olivia sat with her wine. After watching her mom abuse alcohol, she was always careful never to let drinking help with her problems. She heard the key in the door and watched Amanda walk in like a teenager in trouble. Olivia laughed to herself, because that's exactly what she was, "Take your shower, then come see me. I'll be right here." Amanda did exactly that and when she returned Olivia was rinsing her wine glass. "Liv, I'm sorry." Olivia shook her head and walked over to Amanda. "Don't do this Amanda. Don't push me away, because I'm not going anywhere."
Olivia grabbed her hand and they went to the bedroom. They climbed into bed, "I'm scared Liv, but I have to face her. I want her to know,I don't need her. If I decide to let her be in my life, she won't have another chance if she fucks up."
Amanda kissed her lips, "Are you still mad at me?" Olivia kissed her back and pushed her in the bed, "Nothing in this world." Olivia reached under Amanda's ass and pulled off her panties. Then spanked her ass, "Owww Liv!" Olivia giggled, "You were bad today and that smart mouth reminded me of the day I met you." Amanda smiled, "Did you take those off just to spank me?" Olivia pulled her legs on her shoulders, "You better watch your smart mouth."
Olivia started licking, kissing, then sucking each inner thigh. Amanda was twisting and turning, "You wanted my attention, now you have it." Olivia moved her attention to Amanda's wet folds, she started the same movements as her thighs. "Are you going to lie to me again?" Amanda was breathing hard, "No Liv. Ahhhh." Olivia continued, "Am I going to have to deal with your smart mouth?" Amanda was getting close, "Yes! I mean… No."
Amanda's flat stomach was moving up and down and she was pulling Olivia's hair. "Liv please." Olivia stopped, "Please what? Do you want me to stop?" Amanda pushed Olivia's head back down, "No!" Amanda came screaming Olivia's name, "Shit Liv! That's what I get for acting up?" Olivia smiled, "Don't do it again. I love you."
