Chapter 27
The semester ended and Amanda still made straight A's even with every distraction thrown at her. She was officially a senior at the age of 20. She was ahead and had already been offered a job at the bureau. She was extra excited that Kim was closer.
Christmas Eve was here and Olivia and Amanda were hosting a family dinner. Everyone was gathered around the table, eating and enjoying the company. Olivia asked everyone to go to the family room. Amanda and Kim put Noah and Olivia in the play pen. "We have a few Christmas games."
Olivia held up a huge Saran Wrap ball. "Ok guys, everyone pick a number." Olivia held two dice in her hand. I'm the roller so I'm out. Amanda said, "I get 4." Nick claimed, "6." Kim guessed, "9." Mr. And Mrs. Amaro said, "5 and 3." Fin yelled, "12." Melinda shook her head, "Fin, that's an awful number you would have to roll double sixes. I will pick lucky number 7." Alex went with, "8." Peter followed with, "11." Beth smiled, "10." Lucy said, "Great, I'm stuck with 2."
Olivia shook the dice, "Whatever number I roll, that person starts unwrapping while the person on their right rolls the dice, trying to get doubles. Once the doubles are rolled, the ball passes to the next player. You get to keep whatever you unwrap, and the person with the ball does not stop unwrapping until the person to their right rolls doubles."
Everyone smiled listening to the rules. Olivia rolled a 12. Fin laughed uncontrollably and pointed at everyone, "Suckers!" Fin started unrolling the ball while Melinda tried to roll doubles. The game was fun and everyone ended up with a few things, except Fin he had tons of stuff. Beth had the middle and the ball last, she won a 200 dollar Visa card.
They wished everyone a Merry Christmas and said goodnight. Olivia wrapped her arms around Amanda's waist. "That was nice of you. Letting her stay to celebrate Christmas with us." They looked at Beth helping Lucy clean up. Amanda breathed in, "She's trying Liv. I still don't fully trust her, but I'm not a bad person. No matter what she did to me, if she tries, so will I."
Olivia kissed her. "I'll grab the Christmas pjs." Everything was spotless and Olivia gave everyone pjs. "Ok shower, then we meet back here at the tree. It's tradition that we open one gift tonight and the rest in the morning." Amanda heard the shower turn on. She thought about her last Christmas with Olivia, her first real Christmas. She grabbed her first Christmas gift, the strap on with the blue dildo. She had to go to the closet to find it, because they had so many toys now.
She found it and heard Olivia, "Baby, shower let's go!" Olivia was standing under the water, "About time, what were you…" Amanda placed her hand on the inner thigh and slowly stroked in between her legs. "Amanda, we don't have time for this." Amanda kept stroking, "Who says?" Amanda inserted a finger then 2. "I was thinking about last Christmas. You were more in charge then, but now…" she heard a moan escape Olivia's lips, "We're more level."
Amanda pulled away her hand and bent Olivia forward so her hands were on the bench. She pushed in fast and hard until she heard Olivia gasps. "You said we didn't have time, but I'll give you a choice. Hard and fast?" Amanda gave her a few rough thrusts. "Or slow and steady?" Amanda slowed down, "Shit Amanda! Fuck me!" Amanda pounded Olivia and she came in less than a minute. Amanda was draped over her back holding her around her stomach. She turned around and kissed Amanda hard. "Come on, let's get this gift thing done and put our baby to bed. I owe you some payback tonight."
They joined Lucy, Beth, and Noah by the tree. Olivia held Noah, in his Christmas pjs. "Thanks Lucy." Amanda handed him a gift, it was a super seat for him to sit in and the connected table had toys, lights, and sounds. Lucy opened her box, "No way! This is perfect!" Olivia smiled, "Yeah a little birdie told me you liked the jacket, but refused to buy it."
They both passed Beth a huge wrapped gift. She unwrapped it and tears fell. "We hope you like it!" It was a custom frame that said "The love of family is life's greatest gift." It had 8 photos around it of pictures taken since Beth came back into Amanda's life. They made sure to include the one they took together at the park with Noah in the fall. Beth had asked for a copy and Olivia knew it was a perfect gift. Beth continued to cry, "Thank you!"
Amanda passed Olivia a big box. Olivia opened it, "My favorite coat. You replaced it. How did you find one?" Amanda laughed, "Amazon." Olivia's favorite one was ruined in a chase. Olivia handed Amanda a soft package. "Liv, I love it." It was a personalized blanket with her favorite pictures.
They all said goodnight to each other. Amanda held a sleeping Noah. Olivia and Amanda put him in his bed. "Liv, he's getting so big." Olivia smiled, "Yeah I know, he's going to be 7 months old in January." They walked out heading to the bedroom and Amanda yawned. Olivia looked, "Oh no, you better not be sleepy. You have payback coming."
