Will The Sun Ever Shine Again?
As the Young 5 made it to the hill, they were pulling Yona out of the water but were struggling to get Gallus out of the water because he was refusing to give up.
" No! Come on, guys, we can't give up!" said Gallus as he was pulled out of the water by Ocellus and Smolder.
" Gallus, that's enough! The minute is let's up. When the storm's gone, we're going straight home to Sweet Griffon Apple Acres," said Smolder as she, Ocellus, Sandbar, and Yona took cover under the rock.
" But Smolder, what about catching Slim and collecting the reward?" asked Gallus.
" May I remind you, Gallus, that we never had a prayer about catching Slim in the first place? In fact, this whole ridiculous plan of yours is nothing but you just getting revenge on those griffon rustlers," said Smolder.
Gallus moved up to her and said angrily " Hey, for your information, Smolder, this ridiculous plan isn't about me getting revenge. It's about us trying to save our home,".
" Oh, yeah, sure. You know, Gallus, maybe our home may have a fighting chance until you came along," said Smolder.
" And what's that supposed to mean, Smolder?" asked Gallus annoyed.
" Oh, let's see. Being absolutely stubborn, strutting with you adventurous behavior…," said Smolder.
" But Smolder, Gallus was just trying to have fun," said Ocellus trying to explain to Smolder about Gallus.
" Oh, yeah sure having fun wasting our precious time on his ridiculous plans. Through many generations, Sweet Griffon Apple Acres has survived every hardship that nature can dish out. Well, I'm afraid that Gallus, here, is perhaps the biggest catastrophe to ever hit our home," said Smolder.
Gallus turned away angrily and said " Well, if that's the way you think of me, Smolder? Then maybe I should continue this mission on my own,".
" Now that's the greatest idea you ever had, Gallus. Because we don't need you," said Smolder turning to him angrily.
" Fine!" said Gallus.
" Fine!" said Smolder.
" FINE!" yelled Gallus.
" Fine," said Smolder.
Ocellus, Yona, and Sandbar remained silent from the whole thing. They turned to the left to see Smolder sat down and then they turned right to see Gallus heading back into the rain to continue the quest on his own.
As Gallus walks through the rain, he was suddenly starting to feel all sad and looked back at his friends as he said sadly " Yeah, fine. It's not like your shelter was going to feel like home to me anyway,".
So Gallus continues walking through the rain and the others lie down as the storm continues.
Meanwhile, back at Sweet Griffon Apple Acres, Pearl was inside her home watching the rain. Soon, she went over near the fireplace and started packing her things. Pearl grabs a photo frame that shows herself with every one of a group photo and stares at it for a moment and placed it in her bag.
Then a female singer begins singing in the background.
{ Female Singer }: Rain is pourin' down like the heavens are hurtin'.
Seems like it's been dark since the devil knows when.

Then Pearl reached into a chest and brought out some other photos. One showed her feeding young Ocellus, and Pearl smiled at that memory. Moving the photo aside, she looked at another photo of Ocellus and Smolder playing with each other, and smiled even more.
{ Female Singer }: Feels like it's been years since it'd started to thunder.
Clouds are campin' out in the valley and glen.
How do you go on, when you can't help but wonder?

Shortly later, Pearl entered her shelter and saw everyone joining by her side. As Pearl walks off, Thorax, Ember, The Crusaders, and Grampa Gruff looked at Smolder's and Ocellus's spot, and then they walked off as Garble and the five chicks decided to stay a little longer.
{ Female Singer }: What if the rains keeps fallin'?
What if the sky stays gray?
What if the winds keep squallin'?
And never go away?
Meanwhile, at the town, 2 of the adult Hippogriffs had explained to Skybeak and Ocean Flow about Silverstream suddenly rushing off. They soon walked off while Terramar looked all sad as his parents turned to him with the same expression. Terramar then turned to his and Silverstreams' footprints as water begins filling them up. Then he looks out into the distance in concern for his sister.
{ Female Singer }: Maybe soon the storm will be tired of blowin'.
Maybe soon it all will be over, amen.
How do you go on, if there's no way of knowin'?
In the far wilderness, Silverstream was still wandering through the rain until she soon came near a dead tree and saw a wanted poster of Slim on it. Then lightning flashed and suddenly Slim's picture was smiling and Silverstream could hear him laughing evilly.

Silverstream angrily glared at the poster and then she rushed down a hill and slid down, whinnying in determination. Soon, Silverstream reached the bottom and ran through the water as she whinnies in more determination. But she hasn't notice Ocellus, Smolder, Sandbar, and Yona resting underneath the rock.
{ Female Singer }: Send me a sign.
One little ray.

How long until then.
Somewhere ahead of Silverstream, Gallus looks back in the distance in concern about leaving his friends as the rains continue falling and thunder and lighting continued flashing and rumbling.

But soon, Gallus continued on his mission alone as he started rushing through the rain.
