Gus returns home and looks at the doll while Kissyfur is asleep as he feels there is something strange about it. Then he gets a wet rag and wipes the red stuff off of Chucky's face and sets him on the table in front of the couch and sits down and stares at figure it out. "What exactly does this have to do with all this?" he asks himself. Then, he picks it back up and then carries it up to Kissyfur's bedroom while he's fast asleep and he gently sets the Chucky doll next to Kissyfur without waking him up. Then he leaves the room and returns to the living room still thinking about the doll with his finger and thumb under his chin. "Is that doll causing all the bad luck?" he asked himself as he realized things have been going strange since Kissyfur got the Chucky doll. Then started to realize something about that doll. "Wait a minute." he whispered to himself. Then, he marches back upstairs to Kissyfur's room and sees the blood dripping from Chucky's nose and then starts to feel suspicious yet nervous as he feels that Kissyfur might be telling the truth the whole time. Then he slowly lifts the doll and looks at it more and then slowly turns it around and opens its clothes to the battery compartment and then slowly opens the lid and sees that Chucky has no batteries and Chucky quickly turns his head and says "Hi! I'm Chucky! Wanna play?" Gus screams and throws Chucky at the wall causing to drop on the floor which woke up Kissyfur and sees his dad in the room. "Dad?" Kissyfur said as he sees Gus frightened and quickly runs to him. "Kissyfur." said Gus. "We need to get out of the house." "Why?" he asked "What's wrong?" Gus turned his head and notices Chucky disappeared and quickly grabs the bat. "Dad, you're scaring me." said Kissyfur. Gus glances out the window and sees the living doll quickly ran outside on his way to Charles's house. "Stay here." Gus warned Kissyfur as he rushes outside to warn Charles. "Charles!" he shouted to Charles.
At Charles's house, he is unable to get some sleep as he is still heartbroken about Lennie's death. Then he hears a door squeaking and gets up to see who it is. "Hello?" he called. He enters the living room and notices the door is just open but nobody in the house. Then he assumes it was only the wind but really it was Chucky hiding behind Charles's house. "This is just not my day." he said to himself as he closes the door and locks it and then Gus arrives and pounds on the door. "Charles!" he shouted "Charles! Get out of there!" "Don't bother me, Gus!" Charles shouted at Gus. "Charles! The doll is alive and it's after you!" Gus shouted trying to warn him that he is in danger. "This isn't funny, Gus!" Charles said as he is not listening. Chucky climbs up on the kitchen counter and grabs kitchen knife. Gus notices what doll just grabbed and he starts panicking and tries twisting the knob. "Charles!" he shouted as Chucky gets closer. "Charles! Open the door!" "Gus! Get off of my property right now!" Charles commanded to Gus. "He's right behind you!" Gus shouted louder. Charles rolls his eyes and turns around sees the doll with the knife. "You should've listened!" said Chucky causing Charles to gasp. Chucky throws the knife at Charles's chest quickly shoving it through causing him to bleed. "Charles!" Gus shouted covering his eyes. Charles starts shaking badly as he is losing a lot of blood. Gus couldn't stand watching him suffer so he cracks his knuckles and charges at the door at breaks it down which causes Miss Emmie Lou's attention as she tries to follow the comotion. Charles's body starts shaking badly while the knife is still stuck in him. Then he gently holds the handle. "Just stay with me, buddy." he said to Charles and then sees Chucky standing near him waving at him. "See ya, suckers!" he said laughing hysterically and rushing out the window. Gus then glances at Charles suffering badly and he finally dies. "Charles." he whispered in sorrow. Then he gently pulls the knife off of him. Then Emmie Lou comes in and gasps as she Gus holding the butcher knife. Gus looks at Emmie Lou staring at him while she's in shock thinking that Gus killed Charles. Gus realized what she was thinking and he begins to speak. "Miss Emmie. It's not what you think." he tried to explain to Emmie. "Get away from me!" she said to Gus as she back away from him. "Miss Emmie! You don't understand!" Then they hear a scream coming from Gus's house and he realizes in terror. "Kissyfur!" Gus shouted rushing over to the house to get Kissyfur. Emmie Lou realizes that it wasn't Gus that killed Charles so she decides to follow him.
As Gus quickly enters the house, he rushes to Kissyfur's room and notices that Kissyfur is gone but a note is left on the bed. He slowly walks over to the note and reads the note. Emmie Lou comes in the room and sees the note he is reading. "'If you want to see your cub again, meet me at the circus to follow my instructions. Fail my instructions and your bear cub is next." Gus reads the note out loud and crumbles the note as he is getting angry. "Gus?" said Miss Emmie. "What's going on?"
