Gus carries Kissyfur back to the swamp with Miss Emmie Lou behind them. As they enter Gus's house, he sets Kissyfur down and says to him "Kissyfur, go upstairs and hide under the bed." Kissyfur runs up the stairs to hide while Gus locks the door and all the windows leaving Kissyfur's window the last one to close. While he's hiding, Chucky sneaks back in the window in Kissyfur's room and drops on the bed startling him and then Chucky takes out his knife looking around for him. "I know you're in here, Kissyfur." he said "You can't hide from me." Kissyfur gets frightened while still under the bed. Chucky then pops his head under the bed and yells "SURPRISE!" Kissyfur screams and kicks Chucky in the face. "Ow!" Chucky screamed as Kissyfur starts running from the doll. "Get back here, you little brat!" Chucky yelled as he's chasing him down the stairs catching Gus and Emmie Lou's attention seeing Chucky chasing Kissyfur. Gus grabs Chucky "Put me down, you grizzly prick!" he shouted. Gus quickly opens the door and throws Chucky out of the house. As Chucky is thrown out, he gets up and quickly runs back to the door and Gus quickly shuts it before he could get back in and holds it shut. "I'll hold the door." said Miss Emmie. "I'll get a knife." Gus replied. Kissyfur hides behind the couch from Chucky while Gus rushes to the kitchen to grabs a knife to defend his family.
While Miss Emmie holds the door closed, Chucky stabs his knife through the door cutting Miss Emmie's arm causing her to scream. "Miss Emmie!" Kissyfur cried. Chucky pushes the door barely open but Miss Emmie tries pushing it closed to keep Chucky. "Give me the cub now!" Chucky roared. Chucky continues stabbing the knife through the door causing Miss Emmie to scream and cry. Kissyfur runs to his father and hides behind him. "Stay behind the counter!" Gus commanded to his cub as he rushes to the door and pulls it open to kick Chucky away but Chucky tackles Gus and takes his knife and repeatedly stabs the floor really attempted to stab Gus dodging the sharp blade and struggling to get Chucky off of him. Miss Emmie rushes to Chucky and grabs him off of Gus and grabs the knife out his hand and throws it on the ground and Chucky bites her on the neck causing her to scream again. Chucky continues attacking her and Kissyfur sees the knife on the ground and rushes towards it and Gus notices and yells "No, Kissyfur!" Kissyfur grabs the knife and rushes to Chucky and stabs him in the back saving Miss Emmie Lou's life causing Chucky to yell in pain and fall off of Miss Emmie. Kissyfur hugs Miss Emmie. "I'm okay, Kissyfur." Chucky still remained screaming in pain and then Gus marches to the doll and pulls the knife out and grabs him and marches to the doll and throws him off the bridge. "Not so tough now, are you?" Gus shouted at the doll. Chucky falls in the water causing the current to pull him away. Kissyfur comes out and leans on the railing of the bridge and watches Chucky get pulled away by the current. "Well, little bear." said Gus. "It's all over now." "Thanks for saving me, Dad." said Kissyfur hugging his father bear. "You're welcome, son." Gus replied.
As they finish hugging, they begin to walk back inside the house but somehow Kissyfur steps on an unstable piece of wood causing it to break and Kissyfur falls through into the water. Gus notices and shouts "Kissyfur!" "Dad!" Kissyfur cried for help as the current is pulling him away. Gus begins running down the swamp to save him.
