The following story is one about our Carjack I began just after the craig/Gabriel mess and have posted here before. I began to write again a little while ago and decided to change the chapters that I had already written a bit and repost this one again in a different way. Hope you enjoy….

17. Chapter 17

Chapter 17

The next morning at the hospital Carly woke up and was surprised to see Jack laying in a chair next to her, asleep. Gently she shook his arm;" Jack…"

"What….?" asked he worried as he sat up straight and looked at Carly;" What's wrong?"

"Nothing." said his ex-wife with a faint smile;" Did you stay here all night?"

"Yes, I did. But you don't have to worry about the kids because Molly stayed with them." answered Jack;" How are you feeling?"

"My head hurts." began she hesitating;" Why am I in the hospital?"

"You still don't remember what happened?" started her ex-husband even more worried;" What's the last thing that you do remember?"

"I remember you taking the kids out to see a movie and I think I went shopping with Molly, but I'm not sure about that." said Carly and saw the shocked look in Jack's eyes;" Why are you looking at me like that? What's wrong?"

"Nothing, sweetie. Don't worry." answered he quickly as he got up;" It's going to be okay again. I promise."

"Where are you going?" asked his ex-wife softly;" What's going on, Jack? I want you to tell me the truth."

"I'm just going to see if Chris is around so that he can give you a check-up, honey. That's all." told Jack her lying and walked away;" I'll be right back."

Molly had just gotten the kids off to school when the doorbell-rang and to her surprise she found Gwen standing there;" Hey, that's a surprise."

"Hey, Molly." smiled Gwen;" Is Carly home?"

"No, but maybe you should come inside and sit down." started she hesitating and let Gwen into the living room;" Where's your husband?"

"He went to see his family." said her cousin's sister;" What's going on? Where's Carly? Is she okay?"

"Carly's in the hospital because she had a car-accident yesterday, Gwen." answered Molly;" Chris said that she's going to be okay again and jack's over there right now."

"Is she really going to be okay again?" asked she shocked;" I want go over there and see her."

"Why don't we go together." suggested Molly as she grabbed her keys and followed Gwen out the door.
