Back in the room, while Molly was talking to Jack out in the hallway, Carly was catching up on things with her sister;" Where's that beautiful daughter of yours?"

"After Molly told me about you being in the hospital I drove back to Will first to drop Hallie off before I came down here." answered Gwen;" How are things between you and Jack now, Carly? Are things better between you two?"

"I have no idea to be honest." said she with a faint smile;" Last week we were still fighting over the smallest things and I know that he was still upset about what I did and said a month ago, but now things seem different in a way and I don't know why."

"Maybe we shouldn't be talking about this right now." began her sister worried;" Maybe you should try and get some rest. I can come back another time."

"But you just got here." answered Carly;" I'm not tired yet, Gwen. You don't have to go yet."

"Yes, I do and you do need your rest right now. I'll come back another time and we'll have plenty of time to catch up again." said she and gave Carly a hug before she walked away;" If you're still here tomorrow I'll come and see you and otherwise I'll come over to the house."

At Al's Parker walked inside, looking for Liberty, when he ran into Janet;" Hi, is Liberty here yet?"

"No, not yet." answered she;" Can you give your dad a message from me?"

"Sure." said Parker not really in the mood to be dealing with Janet and barely even looked at her;" What is it?"

"Can you tell me to call me as soon as possible, Parker? It's about time that he took some responsibility." started his father's ex;" This is his baby and he can't keep avoiding me."

"My dad is taking responsibility and he hasn't been avoiding you, but nothing everything is about you and he's got a lot on his mind right now!" answered he angry;" My dad will be a great dad for this baby and he will be there for him."

"Hey, guys." said Liberty as she came up from behind them and noticed the tension between her mother and Parker;" What's going?"

"Nothing!" answered Janet and looked back at Parker;" I heard your mother is in the hospital. Is that what's on your father's mind right now? Is she drinking again and did she cause an accident?"

"Mom!" warned her daughter her a bit shocked;" That's none of your business!"

"It is my business because it's causing Jack to ignore his responsibility towards me and the baby." said she;" It's about time that your father faced up to the fact that your mother is a lost cause and that he will be picking up the mess after her for the rest of his life if he stays with her, Parker! She will never change!"

"Shut up about my mother!" answered Parker furious;" You have no idea what you're talking about and it is none of your damn business!"

"Parker…wait….!" called his friend on after him as Parker stormed off and quickly turned back towards her mother before going on after him;" That was mean and uncalled for, mom!"
