Rose Moon's point of view
"Wait, so you're meeting up?" I said answering a call. "Alright then, yep, we'll do."
I hanged up the phone before I went to my desk to get some papers ready.
"Ok children." I called.
"What old lady?" A spoiled kid demanded.
"Well, I'm going to say that a couple is coming here for a child, so everyone be on their best behavior." I answered. "And that is rude to call people like me old."
"Whatever, if it's a royal family then I'll be queen!" She said as her friends laughed with her.
"I'm sure the older will be the next king or queen in the future." I said.
"Not for long!" She yelled as her and her friend ran off.
"Where's Lyra?" I asked.
"I dunno." One answered.
"I haven't seen her at all today." the other added.
"I swear if it those two I'll have to send them to juvenile." I mumbled.
By the time two in the afternoon struck I saw a few kids went home with their new adoptive families, I hope Lyra get hers soon, I can't bare to see her getting tortured by those two. After five minutes the couple came, one has light blue and purple hair while the other has blue hair, and I recognized them already.
"Long time no see Splandora and Sendor." I said.
"You've only seen us since our coronation." She replied.
"I heard that Alanna has returned to help us win." I said.
"Yes she has." Sendor added.
"Well, we have thirteen children left, a few were just adopted while we still have two of the more spoiled, and eleven who treated each other as equal." I told them. "Children, they're here!"
Then they came in one by one, including Lyra and the spoiled two, the eleven greeted themselves while the other two shoved Lyra and the others for them to be first and begged them to be adopted. Splendora went over to pick Lyra up and handed her to me so I can take care of the scars they given to her.
"Ok you two, with what you're both are doing won't get you adopted." Said Sendor. "And I don't think your older sister appreciates this type of behavior."
"I bet she's old." One said.
"She's not old, she's only nearing twenty years old." He replied.
After I gave Lyra to Splendora and Lyra didn't have a problem to be held by someone, I mean, she's a five year old girl with Light blue and blue colored hair, with blue eyes and oddly shaped pupils, no wonder why no one so far decided to adopt her, and her being bullied. The other children also doesn't mind her pupils are oddly shaped.
"Now, me and Sendor will take a look at all of your memories for the future, not all of you will have a family but you may have a happy life." Said Splendora.
So they started and after looking they nodded at each other and direct me into a room while carrying Lyra. They kept her occupied with a stuffed whale toy and an etch and sketch pad.
"So, how you both decided?" I asked.
"We have," She answered. "and the lucky child we're gonna bring home is,"
Then she pointed at Lyra, I nodded in agreement and pulled out an adoption form for Lyra from her biological parents. I had them sign the papers then I stapled it together and placed an approve stamp on it.
"I'll make a call for the spoiled duo to be placed somewhere else." I said. "But I hope Alanna will enjoy her new little sister."
"Thank you, we'll have you visit her whenever you can." Said Sendor.
"Lyra?" Splendora Asked.
"Yes?" She responded.
"Are you ready to go home?" Sendor asked.
"Wait..." Then she paused. "Am I?"
They nodded and she got up and waited, then they got up as well. They left the room as I followed from behind.
"Thank you so much Rose," Said Sendor.
"Anytime old friends." I replied.
"Are we getting adopted?" Asked one of the spoiled children.
"No, but she is." Said Splendora as she placed her hand out for Lyra to hold.
"But, you two are going to be placed somewhere else, they'll be here Tuesday next week." Said Sendor as he winked at me.
"Bye guys!" Lyra said as she followed her new parents out the door.
"Bye Lyra!" They shouted before I closed the door.
"Alright children, who wants lunch?" I asked.
They raised their hands and we left the room and they grabbed their own lunches and starts to eat.
