An hour later found the pair heading off to school with Tucker meeting up with them as they hit the end of their block. Sam let out a yawn, her eyes feeling heavy from the lack of restful sleep or maybe it was the new powers that had her feeling rather sluggish. The male halfa looked over at his friend in concern, but made no mention of the fact that she should stay home, knowing that she would either yell at him or ignore him. The trio walked in silence for a moment, none of them wanting to talk about what had happened the day prior or maybe they weren't sure of what to say at that moment since they weren't all that sure of what had happened. Tucker had stated that they were like Vlad, a half ghost, but while that might be true they hadn't been affected as the older male had been and since only a few people had known the male as what he was there wasn't much to go on that could assist them in their own affliction.

"Are you guys gonna be able to do this?" Tucker asked his male friend. "Not that I don't have faith, but you were basically just killed and revived in one day with little time to acclimate." The Goth behind them growled low, her eyes narrowing at their techno geek friend. Danny shook his head at the other male, his face telling Tucker that it was not a wise move to question whether or not the pair were ready to take on school. Sam was already upset with him and now that the other teen was asking the same question, it was sure to push her over the edge.

"If one more person says anything about being able to handle today, I will kick someone's ass," the raven haired female grumbled before moving to pass them as the school came into view and unlucky for the first person to come into contact with the irritated female, which happened to be on her shit list, happened to make a comment on her health.

"Oooh, look at what the cat drug in," Paulina said, her high voice grating on the already pissed off Goth's ears. "Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed, freak?" The raven haired child of the night turned her amethyst orbs on the Queen of Casper High and everyone fell silent as those same orbs flashed green. As Paulina had been blocking the view of the enraged female, no one but her saw the flicker of colors, her face growing pale at the sudden change before taking a step back. The damage was done though and like Sam had promised before she had walked in, hell was loose and its name was Samantha Manson. Her fist came out, the speed of it so fast that no one saw it until it had stopped, her fist clutching the orange and white colored cheerleading top of the popular female. She pulled the other teen closer to her, her eyes narrowed into slits.

"The cat didn't do shit to me," she hissed. "But you will look like what that cat shit out on the rug in two seconds if you don't get the hell out of my way." When the cheerleader failed to say a word, her face beginning to glean with sweat, the Goth released her before turning around and stomping off to her locker. The halls were so quiet that the sound of her boots hitting the tiles of the large school were deafening. Paulina slumped to the floor, the rest of her group refusing to even come close to her for fear of upsetting the one who had scared the life out of the Latina. Danny smiled at Paulina while Tucker moved to get as far from her as possible. When he had first met the Latina he had thought her rather cruel, but now at the age of 15, his views had changed. While he thought she had a mean streak he thought her to be very cute, forgiving her for being harsh at times. Dash chuckled at the sight of the very temperamental female on the ground, his shoes squeaking as he headed after the Goth. It seemed that even though Sam was very scary that she didn't seem to detour her very enamored jock.

He said nothing as he walked over to her, waiting by her locker for her to notice him and when she did, her eyes still looking perturbed, he didn't even flinch. It was weird as when the ghost had portrayed her he had been willing to strike her, but now it was like that was all forgotten. Even Paulina, who had been threatened by the ghost playing as the Goth, wasn't as afraid of her as she had been. It was like the school had had a brain wash right after that and no one, not even Lancer recalled the small raven haired female being the bully that she had been. "I'll carry your books," the jock stated as he took her books with a smile. Sam wanted to punch him, her lack of sleep and frustration boiling over the top, but instead she heaved a frustrated sigh and allowed the blond to take her books. Heading off to class she paid no heed to her two male friends, leaving them behind without a second look.

"So, what happened?" Tucker inquired as they grabbed their books. The halfa at his side wasn't paying much attention, his eyes on the female now being aided by her friends. Said female wasn't happy, complaining about what had happened and how no one had backed her up. "Danny," the technophile said again, his hand moving in front of the halfa's face. Danny turned to him, that lovelorn look on his face for a second before he blinked.

"What?" Tucker sighed.

"What happened yesterday after I left? Sam seems rather upset, not that she isn't moody, but man she looks like hell warmed over."

"She didn't sleep very well and well, I think she's having the brute of the side effects." He shut his locker, recalling what he had seen from the female, though he wasn't sure what had happened when she had been sleeping as he hadn't heard anything from her last night. He had assumed with how tired she had been that she had passed out, but from what he had seen the next morning he wasn't sure her sleep had been all that peaceful and while Sam had told him that she had felt weak he wasn't about to tell their friend. Sam wasn't all that open at times and he wasn't about to take that trust she had given for granted. "From what I could gather after you left was that she was feeling more exhausted then I was. I wasn't feeling great, but it wasn't taking such a toll on me either."

He didn't mention the fact that she had been having a nightmare either, that another fact that could have caused her to be so upset and also so drained. She hadn't had a nightmare in forever as far as he could remember.

"Oh, there was one other thing," the halfa recalled. "There was a blue mist that came out of her mouth at one moment this morning." Tucker's brow came up in confusion. Rounding the corner they came to their classroom where Sam was already sitting down, her head down while Dash sat behind her. Danny sat down on her left while Tucker sat next to Danny, steering far away from his other friend since she wasn't in a good mood.

"A blue mist? What could that be?" the dark skinned male inquired. Danny had no answer for that as he had not idea what it was or what it meant, but he did know that he had not had that happen to him. "We need more information and sadly we don't have anything at our disposal to get it either." The door closed, the sound of it drawing their attention as their teacher entered, the balding male the same one that seemed to follow them every year, as if he were passing each class like they were. Sam sat up, though she didn't seem to really be paying much attention to the male as he began to talk, some of the other students still talking even as he asked for the to pay attention.

The rest of the morning passed that way with Sam nodding off every once and a while while Lancer droned on. Soon came lunch, and while Sam usually didn't have much to do with the school lunches she didn't seem to have lunch with her this day. Danny wanted to ask about that, but feeling that it had to do with fact that she had slept in, he decided that it was best not to engage in that conversation. The Goth was the last one to enter the cafeteria, her loyal follower close behind her. Her books were nowhere to be found, but that was probably because they had been returned to her locker as they were not needed.

"What is this crap?!" someone whined, the halfa turning in time to see what appeared to be dirt coming his way. He was able to dodge, Tucker was not so lucky as it hit him smack in his face. The dark skinned male frowned, some of the mud falling off of his face and onto the floor before him. Both males looked down to see a piece of toast with...grass on it sitting sadly on the floor. When they looked up they found that the entire student body was looking at them. Sam walked past them, paying little heed to the students staring her down as she headed for the non-existent line of students waiting to be fed. She took the offered food, Dash in tow looking rather irked about the meal set before him.

"This is the freak's fault!" came a familiar voice. Tucker looked down at the "meal" on the floor, his eyes watering as he too turned to Sam with a frustrated look.

"What did you do?!" he cried out. Sam frowned at him, her mood still dark, but instead of taking it out on him she took a seat at the table.

"I talked to the school board," she stated. "Figured that the lunch menu could use a little change." As she said that a small bit of blue mist appeared from her lips, the female halfa stiffening as she saw it for the first time. She glanced over at Danny, the male raising a brow as if to ask her if she had seen it too. They still had no idea as to what it meant, but little did they know they would find out what it meant as the sound of something behind the kitchen doors was heard crashing to the floor. Tucker was the first to think on his feet as he grabbed a plate of the muddy meal and hawked it at Paulina, the mud hitting her in the back of her head before clattering to the floor.

"Garbage fight!" he hollered, the two halfas taking a dive under a table to hide from the riot that started soon after that, the scream of one very pissed of cheerleader echoing around them as several other students joined in. The trio headed for the kitchen, the sound of something else falling in the area as they reached the door while another blue mist escaped Sam's purple lips. Creeping up to the door the trip pushed it open and peeked around and found to their surprise an older woman standing at a table, though they couldn't see what she was looking at, but she was definitely the one that had made the noise as several objects were littering the floor around her. "Is that a ghost?"

Sam shot him a look as if to say are you daft? The woman was see thru, her skin a pastel green that was un-natural unless you were a zombie or a ghost. He shrugged just as the woman turned to look at them. Her red eyes looked sad as she looked down upon them, her body bobbing up and down as she floated.

"Hello," Danny said. "What are you doing here?"

"I was just looking for the menu," the ghost stated. "It is supposed to be meatloaf today, but all I saw was this." She held up a familiar book, at least to one teen in the room with her, while another teen grew upset seeing the book based around non-meat meals.

"Yeah, someone changed the menu," Tucker stated, his eyes narrowing. The ghost seemed perplexed at that comment.

"But the menu has been the same for fifty years," the older woman stated, almost seeming hurt that someone would change the menu. Tucker suddenly pointed to Sam.

"She thought that we needed to try something new." Both halfas turned to him in surprise at his sudden comment, neither thinking their friend would turn on them. The red eyes of the ghost turned to her now, but Sam didn't back down from the pitiful look until those same eyes narrowed as the blood tinted tone became brighter.

"YOU changed the menu?!"
