Mixed feelings were expressed, but consumed on aboard the Interceptor. The crew wondered what happened to their captain, however, none asked Will, but allowed him to be alone with Elizabeth, who both had their own mixed feelings about what happened. How did Jack fall behind? Curiosity grew, wanting to know what Elizabeth had to endure, and was Jack facing the same fate?

Riggs let out a sigh, while he tied a rope. Something was not sitting with him. He had too many questions, however, he knew he wasn't going to get any answers, which frustrated him furthermore. Yet the thing that confused him, was why had he suddenly felt apprehension on the whereabouts of the Captain, a man, he believed that turned his sister upon him and pursued her to leave? Both men had shared tensed words. Stubborn was their nature and possession their nature. However, Riggs found himself helping the other out, and feeling despair on his disappearance. What happened?

Being left upon the ship, with the crew, while William and Jack went to save Elizabeth, Riggs mind and heart fought against each other. Feelings intertwined, like a whirlwind, throwing the two organs about and together. He dreamt of being a captain, to order men about, to sail the free seas forever, but the crew would have hated him, even to touch the helm, in which Anamaria took control of, would aim their weapons on him. Yet that was not the only thing that made Riggs cautious of taking the helm, the name Barbossa, struck his heart. The name he grew up to hate and to promise his father's soul, to kill, as the captain did to his father. What sort of man kills his own crew?

Growing irritated, Riggs looked up from his work and combed his fingers through his thick, brunette, shoulder length hair, as if that could relax him. It was only a few years later, both Riggs and his sister, learned about their father's fate due to Jack, which led the trio to sail together. Yet Riggs could not forgive his sister, she left him with nothing but rage and bitterness. He still cared for her, as they were left alone in the world to survive, yet he never stole from her. Instead she stole from him. The medallion, was the only thing they had left from their father. How could she steal from me?

A gust of wind brought him back from his thoughts. Squinting his green eyes, Riggs caught a movement, before drawing the details of black waves, tatty sails and the skies turned grey. He grabbed rail and leaned over a bit to get more detail of the ship, yet a hand pulled him back.

"Aye, that's the Pearl." Gibbs stated, as Riggs turned to see the old man.

..

Planting her feet upon the main deck of the Pearl, Charley, watched tensely, as Jack followed Barbossa into the captains cabin. She wanted to know what they were discussing, whose blood they needed. Years they all believed it was her own blood they needed, they just needed to find the remaining ones. But what changed?

"So, what do we do now?" Charley heard Pintel ask.

"Wondering what to do with the girl." Koehler replied, Charley found him standing a few places away. His head cocked to one side, as seeing Charley in a different light.

"Aye. Years since I've touched a woman." Another pirate stated, while he moved a few steps nearer Charley.

"Been patient enough." Twigg said, who stood a few steps behind her.

Charley grew weary. Too many eyes upon her, too many to prevent them staring at her. She reached for her sword, but only air she grabbed. She let out a curse, as she heard many swords drawn, which led her to raise her gaze and counted five swords pointing at her. Smiles of hunger and lust showed upon their faces. Charley bravely glazed at the other crew mates, most took their time to get the ship ready to sail, while the others stared, interested where the situation was going to lead to, however, Charley eyes paused on Pintel and Ragetti, who both studied the situation.

"Look, I am shocked and confused, as you all are." Charley said, while she moved her hands in front of her and raised them, to illustrate she was not going to make a move. "You were all promised gold, lots of it. Instead you got a curse. I can imagine it's frustrating, all the good things you took for granted, but now are gone. Greed has led you this far, but how is greed going to treat you, if you got your way with me?"

"Don't talk like ye know how we feel. Ye have no idea." Koehler gruffly stated.

"It would taste sweet." Twigg added.

"I was not trying to intimate you. All I am trying to say is, I have too been led to believe in a fate, but found out that I've been led down a false path. Done by the same captain. However, you cannot kill him, as he cannot kill you."

"We can kill you."

Charley felt her heart race within, wishing she was far away from where she was trapped. However, she wished that many times a day. She knew it was wasteful wishing, as it got her no where. She kept her eyes upon the men, studying her surroundings.

"After using you." Koehler added.

A few intense seconds passed, as Charley watched as the pirates gaze moved away from her and onto something, which was moving towards her. Hearing the familiar sound off paws upon the deck and a low growl, she knew it was her time to smile. She glanced down and saw Bert by her side, his eyes trained upon the five, his head lowered, while he bared his teeth. "Good luck with that plan, men. You know Bert, here hates you, just as me. Wouldn't want to promise him bones to chew on and to disappoint."

Before anyone could move, the doors of the Captain cabin burst open, revealing Barbossa, Jack was on his tail. The men hastily sheathed their swords and moved away, leaving Charley and Bert to watch the two captains at the bow. Where Charley stood, it seemed Jack was busy trying to pursue the older captain to change his mind. She moved her gaze to stare at what Barbossa was looking, and her eyes draw upon a ship ahead. The medallion. Charley lowered her gaze, as stared at Bert, who stared up at her with soft features, waiting for her command, wondering which side to fight.
