Dawn and Janine went on their date, but their plans were cut short. They were invited from their families for Kristy's mom's wedding. The rest of the club haven't spoken to Kristy in months, and they didn't tell their parents about what happened with Kristy and the club, so it was going to be extremely awkward for them.
Mary Anne, Claudia, Stacey, Dawn, and Janine met at the reception where the wedding was about to start.
"It's been so long since we've even noticed and talked about Kristy," Claudia says. "Now we're at a wedding."
"She won't like us here, especially me," Stacey says sadly, but Claudia gave her a hug.
"If she does say anything that will hurt you, we'll be there for you," Dawn says. She gives Janine a knowing look, telling her without words to protect Stacey as well.
The wedding started, it was a beautiful service, but the girls became uncomfortable when Kristy sent them glares their way, but when it came time for the dancing, that's where the real drama and trouble began.
The girls sat at their own table, eating some wedding cake. Mary Anne watched as Her father helped Dawn's Mom get her epipen when she ate some hazelnuts. Kristy walked over to their table.
"So, even when you kick me out of my own club, you still find ways to annoy me," Kristy says harshly.
"Don't think you're a good person for having us here, we're here for your mom not for you," Claudia says.
Kristy looks up and down at Dawn, "who is this? I've never seen you before."
"I'm Dawn, I'm a new student from California," Dawn stated confidently.
"I might've seen you before," Kristy then noticed Janine. "Wait, why is Janine here?"
"She's my plus one," Dawn says as she holds Janine's hand tight.
Despite Kristy's anger, she knew what Dawn meant and backed off.
"So, Claudia, how's the club? I bet it's going bad without me," Kristy says.
"I'm not the President, Dawn is," Claudia says.
Kristy gets angry from what Claudia said, they not only kicked her out from the club, but they placed the new girl in charge. Kristy storms off and she doesn't talk to the other girls for the rest of the night.
Later in the night, Dawn convinced Janine to come with her to Camp Moosehead, she struggled with being social, but Dawn convinced her that it would be ok.
"It's going to be fine, I'll help you pack," Dawn says.
