Due to Elaina 's constant bonking they had reached school later than Izuku intended and didn't have time to show his 'friends' his quirk. And moments after Elaina had introduced herself and included that she did not have her quirk yet, Bakugou had exploded a few sparks to accentuate his remark.
Elaina, being a somewhat responsible child, instantly looked at the teacher to see her reaction. Finding it passive she muttered under her breath," They're all the same"
But Izuku being Izuku, instantly rebuked loudly to the class," I developed my quirk yesterday' floating the rod to his hand "and Elaina belongs to the white haired witch clan so she's gonna get a very powerful quirk"
It was as if a sudden change came in the class dynamic at that moment and Bakugou realised he soon wouldn't have the most powerful quirk in the class. It changed him for the better in many ways and he was dumb founded for the time until the lunch break.
"so right now I don't know the range or the speed I can taek this rod to but the doctor said that quirk factor is strong…" . Hearing the deku get praised by his cronies and the class ignited a familiar rage inside him, but for once he stopped it. He wondered what this foreign feeling was and he was smart enough to deduce it. He was jealous. HE was jealous of shitty deku.
But that was the thing, he wasn't a shitty deku any more, he had a quirk that although simple was good enough for a sidekick. And he knew the boy's character enough to know that he could take that quirk and become a hero. So now he was left with a choice. Either he continues his bullying or become friends with the only boy that wanted to be his friend not because of the fear of his quirk.
The answer was apparently simple to the boy as he said," I guess you could be my sidekick deku."
A smile split Izuku's face as he saw that his friend finally accepted his friendship," All might was never a sidekick so I cant be one either kachan. Now let be finally introduce you to Elaina". Elaina was standing next to him, Bakugou noticed. "It may be okay with you Izuku but I don't like this guy"
And so she haughtily walked off. "What's with her?" "Well she probably didn't take the bitch comment well" "oh yeah"
The trio made their way home, Bakugou lived this way as well it seemed, Elaina pointedly ignored Bakugou. "UGGHHHGGHH ok Im sorry". All the way Izuku had pestered Bakugou to apologize and the blond finally caved.
"Apology accepted, for now" Never let it be said that Elaina was a forgive and forget person, she'd forgive but wasn't one to forget even at the age of four.
And so a few months passed. Bakugou started hanging out with izuku and Elaina more. Speaking of the pair, they became inseparable and were almost always seen together. Elaina's mother was often busy with work so she came to his apartment to hang out.
"So my Grandpa's coming over tomorrow" Elaina was playing with Izuku at the park as usual and the stars made their return. " Just don't overreact, he doesn't like fanboys" But not even All for one can stop the number one fanboy so we'll see.
