"Yeah I cant teach you boy."

Only because of being Inko's boy, 4 and a half year old Izuku didn't cry at being so determinedly rejected. Didn't even throw a tantrum. Bless Inko.

Tears brimming izuku asked," Why?"

Sorahiko replied," Same reason I wont be teaching elaina. Your quirk's too different to mine. My training wouldn't be compatible to your quirk."

Izuku atleast understood that and restrained his tears. "So what should I do? I wanna be a hero like all might. I wanna show the world a smile like all might does."

"For now go play in the park with Elaina, no talk of training until you're atleast go. shoo." And so Izuku left silently happy that he got to all mights sensei. He had arrived an an hour earlier and had pestered Gran Torino with questions about All might with a frightening speed.

He didn't remember what move All might named first goddamit. Elaina had grown bored and left for the park and now he sent Izuku to go join her.

Victorica(Elaina's mother) arrived in the room at that moment," So when do you think her quirk will come in?"

"You know as well as I do that she wont be developing a quirk. Only men develop quirks. You're not gonna tell her it isn't a quirk?"

"And what good will that do? It's an ability so it's a quirk and don't you dare tell her otherwise."

Sora raised both his hands in the air," Hey she's your daughter I'm not gonna interfere in that. She probably has enough stamina now, You wanna test her?"

Victorica replied cheekily ," That's why I called you here. So lets make a bet"

"What kind of bet?"

"How potent will she be? I bet she'll surpass me."

"I'll take that bet. You're setting some high expectations of the child, you were the most potent in five generations, which was even more surprising considering I can only use buff magic"

Victorica huffed," You know that's only because men get weaker magic attributes.(She doesn't like when people talk ill of her father, even when its himself) I don't know I just get the feeling that she'll be the best of us."

" Well it'll help her in the hero industry for sure. Quirks are getting more complex by the day. Look at her friend, A quirk that looks weak but could be devastating in the hands of a skilled fighter"

"And you'll help him get there won't you, you are such a softie dad"

Gran torino reddened a bit from his daughter's teasing," Well like I said I cant teach him directly but I'll point him in the right direction. And its not like I can have my granddaughter have a weak friend that cant watch her back"

Victorica made a face that said 'Hai Hai' and changed the topic," Speaking of friends, where's Nana? I know Aunty Chiyo is busy in U.A. but what's Nana up to?"

Gran torinos face took a pained expression," Still in her wheelchair, working her desk job at that oaf's agency. I keep telling her to retire but she just wont listen, says ' Its the only use I can be of society now.' We still haven't found her son. God knows where he disappeared."

Torinos last minute buff had left Nana alive and injured after her last spat with AFO after which she had retired her hero career. Her son whom she had abandoned in fear of AFO finding him had run from the orphanage and hasn't been able to be found. Torino's oldest friend was depressed and there was nothing he could do for her.

Gran torino and Victorica were in these thoughts when Elaina entered with Izuku in tow"-he wears socks all the time because he has holes in his feet". Before Gran torino could start scolding his granddaughter, she ran to him and hugged him tight. "Jiji youre still here I was telling Izuku a bit more about"

Unable to scold his precious granddaughter he told," We're gonna check if your quirk has come yet. Go and clean up."

Mature may she be, everyone noticed the sudden perk in her step. Izuku said meekly," Should I leave? I don't wanna intrude-"

Victorica pinched his cheeks," Youre too polite Izu-chan. You can stay its not a big deal."

Then she went to her room to fetch something. Elaina returned and was told to wait for her so made the typical small talk.

Victorica returned with a long box in her hand and gave it to Elaina. Elaina opened the box and found a black wand inside about her small forearm in length. "That's your grandma's wand Elaina. Treasure it well." Said Gran torino.

The atmosphere grew a bit tense so Victorica clapped to bring attention to herself," well Elaina now we'll do a test. You will try out the most basic spell and by seeing if and how much it works we will deduce your magical ability"

"repeat after me 'Let there be light'". Elaina looked at her mother with a deadpan look but then conceded"Let there be light". It was as if a flash bang was dropped in the middle of the room. Izuku was very happy that his friend had developed her quirk but his eyes leaked tears at the intensity of the light. Finally the light stopped.

"Well I guess you won that bet." Gran torino deadpanned. "That I did" said Victorica with a million watt smile, she was really happy her daughters potency surpassed her.

Elaina was ecstatic. She could become a hero with Izuku now. Despite her mothers insistence she had the doubt that she was quirkless. But not now, she would be best witch hero around.

And with that thought she fainted. Gran torino and Victorica rushed forward to stop her hitting the floor but she landed in Izuku's lap.(A.N.-hehe)

Izuku began to panic "I'm so sorry she fell over I'm sorry" "Stop apologising boy she may have the potency but she doesn't have the stamina to use such a huge amount of magic. She'll be fine after a nap"

*present mic voice- Elaina – quirk- magic- she converts her stamina into magic energy that she uses in the form of spells*

Izuku was relieved that his best friend would be okay and headed home.

I'll be starting the timeskips next chapter. I may have stolen the stamina idea from Yojimbra lol. He's a great writer go see his stories if you haven't
