Chapter 24 – Reunion
'The hunt goes poorly.', thought Ygritte. There were forces actively working against her. The trail was fresh, yet her prey had other hunters, masterful in hiding the Ophiotaurus's trail. But she hadn't grown up alongside Loki for naught. Ygritte pursued her prey with even more rigour, nothing would deter the Goddess of the Hunt.
Having just escaped the facility, Kanan lead the rescue crew towards one of the shuttles. Jarvis, the armour's AI had chartered the shortest course to the shuttle. As they neared their destination the shuttle exploded. But this was within Jarvis's calculation, who had an alternate destination already chartered. Quickly they went to the new destination, the craft used by Axe Woves and the two bounty hunters. Dispatching the stormtroopers surrounding them, the crew quickly escaped the planet and made their way towards the light cruiser.
When they were within the ship, Sabine looked at the female stormtrooper Woves had brought with him. She like the three other force users could feel the void in place of the strangers' force signature. "Who are you?", Sabine asked. She felt something familiar about her.
"Asha.", she answered.
"I'm Sabine.", she said and introduced everyone on the ship that she knew. Asha nodded in response.
"Are you also a mandalorian?", Asha asked Sabine.
"Yes, the ones in stormtrooper armour are mandalorians.", Sabine answered. Right now, the rest of the crew were paying more attention towards making a clean getaway, except for Bo Katan who was busy assessing an unconscious Rau's condition. It was nearly impossible making it past the blockade, until help arrived in the form of Mjolnir that destroyed everything in its path – Tie fighters, Star Destroyers and Light Cruisers. Through this path our motley crew of rescuers made its way on to the Mandalorian Light Cruiser.
As soon as the ship entered the cruiser, they jumped into hyperspace. Bo Katan took Rau to the med-bay. Din went to the cruisers' command deck to inform Tarre and Rayleigh about the mission. Koska and Woves were trading tales, while the bounty hunters waited for payment. Meanwhile the Ghost Crew led Asha to their own ship 'The Ghost'. In there they asked Asha about who she was and why she helped them.
"I am looking for someone and I believed that saving Fenn Rau would lead me to him. I am a Mandalorian, but not of this era.", Asha said. By then Kanan had removed Tarre's suit.
"Ok, who are you looking for?", Sabine asked. She like the others couldn't tell if Asha was telling the truth or not.
"I am looking for Tarre Viszla.", Asha answered.
This answer surprised them all. Then they all heard Tarre being wheeled in by Rayleigh with the hammer in his hand. Rayleigh was telling Tarre all that he had sensed, since Tarre's connection to the force was still broken. In his heart Tarre suspected who this person could be, and asked Rayleigh if he had caught the name of the one who was a void in the force. Rayleigh whispered the name to Tarre.
'I know that voice.', Asha thought as she heard Tarre and Rayleigh saying something in a foreign language. Turning around she stifled a gasp, there he was – her little brother, wheelchair ridden, with a green jaig eyed mask around his eyes. It was a good thing that her face was still hidden by the helmet, because a single tear had fallen out of her eye. She looked at him in shock, not knowing what to say.
"Hello Asha. We have much to talk about.", Tarre said.
"You know her?", Sabine asked. As this was happening Ahsoka finally understood. Tarre had once told her about his elder sister, who was also named Asha. About how she was unique, a void in the force, and how her strength and senses could rival an asgardian in his prime.
"Yes, I do.", Tarre answered, "Everyone this is my elder sister – Asha Viszla."
Watching the Republic dogs escape, Moff Gallius Rax was unbelievably angry and was doing what he did best, taking his frustration out his favourite slave and toy, the fourth sister – inquisitor Mala Kale. He was assaulting her in every manner to account for the losses they had suffered, while she in her brainwashed state and controlled by the slave collar could do absolutely nothing but obey.
'Soon, the Republic will hear of this victory and come to Lola Sayu.', Rax thought, their plans would be majorly delayed'. With such a facility and the backing of Grand Admiral Thrawn, Rax could create a new empire and ally with the forces that would bring this galaxy on its knees but now that dream seemed far away.

They were safely on Asgard, but his parents were not. Gabriel Vizsla was six years old but was smart enough to know that something was wrong. He, Skyla, Erin, Jacen and Mira were visiting the city, being chaperoned by Aunt Satine (Erin's mother, and his & Skyla's godmother) and Chopper. Gabriel remembered what his father said to him, "When you and Skyla are outside, always hold your sisters' hand my son." So, he did, he firmly grasped his little sisters' hand, and she was being led by him without paying attention as to where they were going. Every night after their parents left, Skyla would come into his room asking him when their parents would return, and would always start crying. He comforted her every night until Aunt Satine found them in the morning. When they went to Asgard and saw Uncle Fenrir, Erin was ecstatic. She and Skyla laughed when they saw the older white haired Uncle Fenrir, but he, Jacen and Mira looked worried. They were then led by Chopper back to his father's house. On the way they met with King Thor, and like Jacen the rest of the kids had started calling him Grandpa Thor. He smiled and lifted all of them on his shoulders. Reaching the house, the children disembarked and Jacen asked when their parents would return.
"In a few days' time son.", Thor answered. Gabriel could feel that something was bothering him, and as King Thor prepared to leave, he ran up to him and asked if he could help like his parents.
Thor smiled, "You are helping by staying safe."
That was four days ago, ever since then all of the children except Erin had become more restless. In the nights when Skyla would finally fall asleep – Jacen, Mira and Gabriel would meet quietly. They didn't want to wake Aunt Satine or Uncle Fenrir, talking about what was going on, why their parents were gone and why the adults around them were acting so weird. Last night however, they were caught by Uncle Fenrir. He sat the three children down and said it was story time. He then told the children about stories of Jacen and Mira's parents, and then ended the night by telling them the story of 'Get Help', where he chucked Gabe's father at some bad men. The children were thrilled with the stories but on Fenrir's request remained as quiet as possible.
Today however the young man was feeling uncomfortable for a whole other reason. There were so many voices in his head, this had happened once before. At that time his mother noticed it immediately and tried to help him through it. A while later, his father entered the house with Skyla on his shoulders laughing. Tarre immediately noticed and knelt in front of Gabe, placing two fingers on his head. After that the voices went away. So, Gabe tried doing that, but it didn't work. Now the voices were even louder and pretty soon he felt light headed. Satine saw Gabe and knew that something was wrong. She told Chopper to take the children home. All of them looked at him in worry and Mira said, "Gabe your nose is bleeding."
Gabe then fainted right there, but was caught by Satine who carried him. Skyla started to panic, but Mira held her hand reassuringly. Satine rushed him to the medical center, while Chopper with Jacen's help ushered the children back home.

Gabriel was lying in the hospital bed, waking every once in a while. He saw Uncle Fenrir, Aunt Satine. Reassured by their presence the young boy went back to sleep. Right now, Gabe felt a familiar presence and a soft hand on his forehead. Opening his eyes, he saw Ahsoka and Tarre sitting at his bedside. He immediately sat up in bed.
"Easy Gabriel.", his father said. He looked up at him, the green mask still covering his eyes. Gabriel always wondered what was behind that mask, but he had seen a painting of his father in which his eyes were fully visible. Gabe wondered when his father lost his sight and why he covered it with the Jaig eyes mask. He then looked at his mother who smiled at him. He smiled back and immediately hugged her. She hugged him back and whispered in a soothing tone that he was alright. After that he hugged his father, who laughed and hugged him back, standing up as he did.
At that moment the voices returned and Gabriel yelled out, "The voices are back. Make them stop."
Tarre placed two fingers on his forehead and the voices stopped. 'You are getting stronger.', Tarre thought. He could feel Ahsoka's concern. She looked at both of them and said, "Gabriel, we will help you bring the voices under control." Ahsoka was also worried about Skyla, who was currently getting acquainted with Asha. This wasn't why Ahsoka was worried though, she trusted Tarre and if Tarre trusted Asha, then so did she. Ahsoka was worried because Fenrir was telling Erin and Skyla some story of his and Tarre's past.
"Let's get out of here son. There is someone I'd like you to meet.", Tarre said.
'He finally made a life for himself', Asha thought as she saw the little Togruta-human child laughing. Skyla was sitting in her lap, something that she was still coming to terms with. She and Tarre and talked for a long time, with his wife Ahsoka listening to them. Asha answered all of their questions and Tarre answered her questions. He was shocked when Asha told him about his mother's message, "Inform him that I am a Goddess, my daughter. You are both special, a new generation of demi-gods. After you locate him, you must find me. I know not of the era, where I am sending you, but I know you will succeed.", she could see her mothers' face – proud, arrogant yet caring.
Looking at the little bundle of joy in her lap, she thought to herself 'niece' and 'She does look like him'. She wondered how her older brother; Asha's nephew was doing.

It had been so many days, since the hunters took their leave of the Ghost Crew. To them it did not matter that a balrog was on the loose, or if a Prince of Asgard – Fenrir was missing. They weren't even bothered by the disappearance of the Champion – Tarre Vizsla. To them only the mission given by Queen Ygritte mattered.
They had finally tracked the witch – Amora to the realm of Muspelheim, abode of Surtur and his fire giants. This realm had burning planets as far as one could observe. Even the council members thought twice before going there. King Thor himself had banned entry to the realm.
Right now, the group leader of the hunters – Zoe was listening to the arguments made by her subordinates. One of them wanted to turn back, saying that their entry was banned but the rest wanted to push on. Finally, Zoe silenced them with a look and said, "We are hunters trained by Queen Ygritte herself. We go where we want, when we want. And now we will hunt our prey even if she enters Hel."
The matter settled; the hunters then proceeded to enter the realm. Meanwhile Heimdall observed from Asgard but was too late to stop the foolish hunters, as someone had been hiding them from his sight.
He groaned and was preparing to inform Thor. He then saw something else, even more disturbing – Amora the Enchantress approaching the planet in Midgard where Jormungandr slept. He saw her shrouded in the power of Surtur, and knew that the witch had duped him and the reckless group of hunters. She looked up towards the heavens, smiled and woke Jormungandr from his slumber.
