Chapter 27 – The Battle part 2

D169/10 ABY

The battle in Asgardia raged on, as Tarre Vizsla who had lost all consciousness ever since his 'death' at the hands of Agni cut his way towards Asgard (the planet). Acting purely out of instinct he killed all foolish enough to stand in his way only baring his teeth toward the strongest.

Thor, Surtur, Heimdall, Sindr and Laussa all sensed his approach. Sindr and Laussa were having trouble with Heimdall who was strong enough to keep the two at bay. At the same time the watchful guardian of Asgard saw frightened people of the realm make their way towards Vanaheim. The siege of Hominum had been lifted. As the frightened masses fled, Allfather Thor could now unleash his full power.

On a faraway world, beyond the borders of the nine realms was Queen Ygritte of Xadia. Her mission was to escort the Ophiotaurus to Asgard, where Thor could build a safe sanctuary for the beast and ensure that it does not fall into enemy hands. On her way she encountered a multitude of problems – Xenomorphs and a species called Grysk. She had distinct memory of hunting and killing both these species way in the past, and if her memory was correct then the Grysk had even formed an empire of their own. 'Yet who are their gods?', Ygritte thought to herself.

Within Vanaheim, on a world stood Amora and Bartholomew. Behind them was a man of enormous stature, a bald head, blue irises, and black eyebrows. He wielded a dual bladed axe and was taciturn. This man was Skurge of Skornheim. To say that he in love with Amora was an understatement. In front of them was the Red Skull with Skoll and Hati. The two proud and powerful werewolves had leashes on their necks which was being held by Skull. All of them were hidden from Heimdall's sight by Amora and Bartholomew.

"You have my thanks, Lord Bartholomew.", Skull spoke.

"The troubles for Asgard are just beginning.", Bartholomew spoke. In front of them was an entire facility of werewolves, vampires, banshees, and other beast shape shifters. They were being held in machines that separated the beast part of their soul, leaving behind nothing but a broken person. The souls torn out manifested into monstrous beings that were now part of their growing army.

Staring down Ygritte was old and powerful celestial goddess. Her name was Hera – Queen of the Celestials, black hair, and brown eyes. Hera was dressed in a simple white sleeveless dress. Ygritte noticed her and stood wary.

"I would like you to deliver a message for me.", Queen Hera spoke.

"From one Queen to another I shall show you the most basic courtesy but why should I do anything for you?", Ygritte asked.

"I would owe you a favour. I shall also hide your presence from pursuers.", Hera spoke.

"Very well. To whom should I deliver your message and what would this message be?", Ygritte asked.

"To my son. I believe you know him.", Hera answered.

Thor had finally defeated Surtur, and the giant had retreated back to Muspelheim, along with his spawn and what remained of the invaders. Now he focused on the new problem – an out-of-control Tarre Viszla. Yet for the Allfather, this was no issue. As Tarre lashed out of instinct, Thor blocked the attack and countered knocking Tarre out as Bor had on Naboo. The battle was now over. Securing Tarre with his Uru arm, Thor raised his normal hand and extinguished the still raging fires on many worlds of Asgardia. He also sealed off the entrance to Muspelheim.

"What news of Loki and Kuzan?", Thor asked Heimdall.

"Loki has lulled Jormungandr to sleep. Kuzan is enraged...", Heimdall paused.

"What is it?", Thor asked.

"I cannot see the capital of Jotunheim. The planet is not where it is supposed to be.", Heimdall spoke.

"Utgard-Loki.", Thor sighed.

Currently within Tarre and Ahsoka's house on Asgard, was Asha lying in one of the rooms. Tarre was out there with Thor helping restore the damage done to the realm. Asha in her restlessness went out to the living room and saw Ahsoka studying a scan of a very intricate looking mural. Ahsoka saw her and smiled as Asha sat beside her. The two remained silent until Asha saw a familiar figure in the mural scan.

"What is mural?", Asha asked.

"I believe it's called 'The Cosmic Hierarchy'.", Ahsoka answered.

"That one looks like mine and Tarre's mother.", Asha pointed to the picture of a black-haired woman on the mural.
