Chapter 8: A change (Final chapter)
"Let them go" King Triton said getting defensive. "Not a chance Triton. they are mine, we have made a deal" Ursula said as she held up a golden piece of paper with our signature on it. the Eel's held Ariel and I back as we were trying to escape. "Daddy I'm sorry I...I didn't mean to, I didn't know!" Ariel cried. "I'm sorry King Triton!" I cried. King Triton raised his trident and tried to destroy the golden piece of paper but it did nothing.
I gasped with fear. Ursula had an evil smirk on her face. "You see? the contract's legal binding, and completely unbreakable. even for you. of course, I was always a girl with an eye for a barging. the daughter of the great sea king is very precious commodity" Ursula said.
bright golden waves were surrounding Ariel and I as we were being transformed into a small creature, like the ones we saw when we first met Ursula. I was scared right now. I regretted making the deal with Ursula. "But I might be willing to make an exchange for someone even better" Ursula said as she circled around King Triton. "Now do we have ajj deal?" Ursula said.
Ariel and I were getting smaller and smaller. King Triton's trident glowed and sparks appeared from his trident. I saw that he was signing his name on the golden paper to replace Ariel and I's name. I gasped with fear. "Hah! It's done then!" Ursula shouted as she smirked.
Ariel and I were being transformed into our regular selves again. I gasped with relief. but there was only one problem. King Triton was being turned into a creature. we watched with horror as he was being transformed. "No! no, oh no!" Ariel cried.
I placed my hand on her shoulder to comfort Ariel. I was angry. angry with myself and Ursula. King Triton's crown dropped to the ground and we saw that he has been turned into one of those creatures now. I felt so bad for him and Ariel. I looked at Ariel with sympathy.
to my surprise I saw Sebastion who was next to King Triton. "Your magisty" Sebastion said with worry and sadness. "Daddy" Ariel said with sadness also in her voice. Ursula had an evil smirk on her face as she picked up the king's crown. "At last, it's mine" Ursula said.
Ursula grabbed King Triton's trident. "No!" I cried with fear. I saw that Ariel was getting angry. "You...you monster!" Ariel cried as she went to attack Ursula. "Ariel no!" I cried.
"Don't fool with me ya little brat!" Ursula yelled as she pushed Ariel to the ground. "Leave her alone!" I yelled and went to attack Ursula also. no one gets away with hurting my friends like that. Ursula also pushed me to the ground. Ursula cornered Ariel and me into the wall and she pointed the king's trident at us. "Contract or no, I'll blast...ow!" ursula cried. I was confused as to what caused Ursula pain.
We saw Prince Eric and Princess Selena who were in the water. I gasped. "Why you little fool's!" Ursula yelled with anger. "Eric, Eric look out!" Ariel cried. "Selena lookout be careful!" I cried with worry. Ursula wrapped her tentacles around me and Arie.
"After them!" Ursula shouted as she pointed at Eric and Selena. the Ee'ls went after Eric and Selena and held them down. "Selena!" I cried with worry. Flounder and Sebastion went to go help out Eric and Selena. Flounder and Sebastion helped Eric and Selena get free from the Ee'ls grip.
"Say goodbye to your sweethearts" Ursula said with an evil smirk. I gasped. Ariel and I were able to get free from Ursula's grip but our worry was Eric and Selena right now. Ursula was meant to hit Eric and Selena but she hit her Eel's instead. "Babies! my poor little poopsies" Ursula cried with devistasion. Ariel and I quickly swam up to Eric and Selena to the surface. "Eric, you gotta get away from here" Ariel said.
"Yeah, Selena you gotta get away from here" I said with worry. "No, we won't leave you girls" Eric said. "Yeah" Selena said. we then felt the ocean rumbling. we were on top of Ursula's giant head. I gasped with fear as she was rising up to be a giant. Eric, Selena, Ariel, and I quickly jumped down from Ursula's head.
Eric and Selena held me and Ariel close to them. "You pitiful insignificant fools!" Ursula shouted. she used her tentacles to attack us. "Look out!" Eric cried. we dodged Ursula's move. powerful stormes were in the ocean. "the waves obey my every whim!" Ursula shouted.
"Eric!" Ariel cried as he was being swept away by the waves. "The sea and all its spoils bow to my power" Ursula said. Ursula created a giant whirlpool with the trident. Ariel and I were clinging onto the rock. with the staff, Ursula pushed me and Ariel down the whirlpool. Ariel and I were trapped inside the ground of the whirlpool.
Ursula kept attacking me and Ariel. "So much for true love!" Ursula shouted as she was gonna attack Ariel and Selena who was on the ship. but Ursula got stabbed in the chest with the ship's sharp wooden edge and she fell into the water, defeated. the oceans were back to normal and Ariel and I swam to the shores where Eric and Selena were laying down passed out on the ground.
I was a bit worried about them right now. Ariel and I were still in our mermaid forms so we sat on the rock while we waited for Eric and Selena to wake up. as we were waiting I saw golden sparkles on our mermaid tails. Ariel and I gasped and smiled when we saw that we had feet replacing our mermaid tails. we quickly got into the water and we swam to where Eric and Selena were.
when we were walking out of the water, we saw we had feet again and I had a beautiful red dress on and Ariel had a purple dress on. when we got onto dry land Eric and Selena ran up to hug us. "I'm glad your okay Lana" Selena said. "Yeah, I'm glad your okay too" I said. Selena and I then had our first kiss, so did Eric and Ariel.
"Lana, I love you. will you marry me?" Selena said. I smiled and jumped with joy. "Yes! yes, I will marry you!" I cried.
