Kamakura Ishui's Residence

0930 hrs
Ishui was rummaging his closet to find a perfect outfit for the occasion, he found his usual black suit and tie, he dressed up before tidying himself
P99 walked in and saw her commander already dressed up neatly
"So you are ready for your major mission commander?" She asked as she already kitted up and ready to roll out
"Indeed, Mr Kryuger already give us a green light to go, does everyone ready?" He asked as he grabbed his phone and the cube just for precaution measures
"Indeed, we are waiting for your briefing" P99 replied with a determined smile which made Ishui pumped up, he walked downstairs to see all of his team ready to go
"Alright everyone, listen up! before we go, I'll give you details about the mission" He put the cube on the desk as it turned into a holographic projector
Blue lights began showing a picture of a middle-aged man, possibly around his late 40's, he had droopy blue eyes, wrinkles all over his face signalling he aged because of hard work, the man had some grey hairs already, but most notable feature about him was a scar on his face, located at his lower cheek near his jawline, possibly a work-related accident
"Our target is a Nagurskoye Incident Survivor and also a former Electrician named Sergei Antonovich Stezhensky, a 49-year-old Caucasian male, he is currently hiding on a coastal town of Shakotan in Hokkaido, yes I am not joking, he made a mad dash to Hokkaido as a refugee, along with his group of other technicians, Mr Kryuger managed to pinpoint us a location, hotel that was converted into a refugee shelter, somehow, Hokkaido got the first info of this incoming refugees, Coastal guards may be involved in saving them..." He then swiped the holograph image and turned it off
"Our objective is simple...we will meet with him, ask a few questions while simultaneously on full alert, Kryuger said to me earlier that he is a wanted man..." He put the cube in his pocket before M1A1 asked
"Wanted? by who?" She said with a bit worried
"Possibly the owner or even creator of this massive problem in the Arctic Ring, anything else before we head out?" This time 9A-91 asked
"Who are they?" she said with a simple flat tone
"We don't know yet, that is why I told you all to be on full guard..." He sighed
"But that will not deter us, we will obtain information one way or another..." He looked at the other dolls just in case if someone asked another question before leaving
"No question? Good! A transport will arrive shortly" he said while hearing a car stopped
"That must be our transport" He opened the door revealing to be...
"Officer Ikada? never thought you'll be our escort!" He was surprised to see him as their driver
"Heh, mornin' kiddo! glad to see you already sharp!" he pats the rookie commander on the back before seeing his army of girls
"Seems you already got a handful" He joked
"Yeah...very handful of Dolls, anyway, I am sure Mr Kryuger already spill you the details right?" he asked
"I was the first one to be informed, and I already set some small protection there, each corner of the cities in full standby mode, with the help of Drones from Onigawa Industries, we have a full aerial view too" He explained to Ishui whilst taking a tablet showing the air view of the city
"Good job, now let's head to the place!" Ishui said with determination
Mangaka and T-Dolls
Hokkaido
Sapporo Okadama Airport
1110 hrs
Ishui's transport, a standard military LAV could be seen driving out via a plane ramp, the warm ray of Hokkaido skies radiating through the bulletproof glass of the LAV
Ishui heaved a sigh of relief as he enjoying the warm sun
"It is been so long since my last visit to Hokkaido," he said with a chuckle
"You've been here much kid?" Ikada asked as he drove the LAV to the designated location
"Well, my grandma lives here, in a fishing village of Kamoenai" He remembered how crowded the village during long holidays
"Hope I got a chance to meet her" Ishui chuckled like an excited little kid, P99 and the others giggled at his attitude whereas WA2000 just straight up didn't care about it
"Tone down the excitement kiddo, your mission ain't even started yet" Ikada laughed as he saw the road had a lot of police nearby
"Why there's a roadblock in here?" He stared at the roadblock as a police officer gave them the new direction towards the coastal city of Shakotan
"P99, can you find some news regarding what happened here?" He ordered his trusty Handgun Doll, she nodded and began gently pressing the side of her head and her eyes flashing blue for a while
"Apparently, There was a collision in 3 specific intersections that happened simultaneously, all of them are freighter trucks, same size and colour, all of them are 16 wheelers..."
P99's statement raises all of their suspicions
"that is way too convenient for an accident, don't you think?" MP41 questioned
"Yeah, hold on for one second..." Ikada grabbed his walkie-talkie and called his squads
"All Lotus, this is Lotus Zero, I got the Beekeeper in here, what is your status, over?" a brief radio silence before a channel opened up
"Lotus 1 already in site A, so far nothing out of the ordinary, all sectors have been locked down, no civilians allowed to enter the vicinity...we also set up some eyes in the sky" an SF soldier replied on the other end, the A team were positioned in Furubira District, complete with armed personnel and also several drones
"Good, what about you Lotus 2?" ikada asked again and same like before they met with a momentary radio silence before another voice cracked through the radio
Lotus 2 here, resort secured, we were observing from far away, drones in the air and we also send in a sniper"
"Received, the last one, what about you Lotus 3?" this time they met a radio silence but quite nerve-wracking, about 5 to 15 minutes no answer whatsoever
"Lotus 3 this is Lotus Zero, do you copy, over?" Ikada repeated the message and still met with radio silence, that was until a small crack of voice emitting through the radio
"This-...Lotus...speak...sig-...rence...-...too-..long..." the voice that came from the radio badly interfered, they could barely make out what they said
"Speak, Lotus 3, we can't hear you very well!" Ikada demanded before the voice slowly getting clear
"This is Lotus 3, we are-...signal interference-...coming-...white-..." Despite some words were able to be recognized, it was still not enough to make out what they said
"We could hear you, please move back from the interference and try speaking again" Ikada ordered, and the radio went silent again
"Ikada-san, where is their location? Lotus 3" Ishui asked as he grabbed his phone to pinpoint their location using his GPS
"They are on the north side of Shakotan, guarding an intersection area, why?" He asked as Ishui tried to find an intersection in his GPS
"Okay I found it, it is an important intersection, leading to Nojika-chō and Bikuni-chō, P99, does this intersection included in the accident?" He asked his Handgun T-Doll which she immediately looking through the news again
"Yes Commander, the similar white truck could be seen crashing several cars and forming a lot of traffic jams heading to Bikuni-chō" She replied which made Ishui sighed
"Now that is a coincidence and a bad one it is" Ishui groaned as Ikada became impatient
"Spill the beans kid, just tell me what is going on!" He demanded
"So far, I don't know...these crashes don't make any sense, someone maybe plotting this but who?" He looked at the news again until the car stopped
"Alright kid, we are here, do your job and I'll stay with my men, contact me if you see something suspicious, got it?" He gave the rookie commander a walkie-talkie before heading out, Ishui nodded as he and his T-Dolls headed to the hotel
"So what is the plan commander?" M1A1 asked as he looked around
"We stick with the plan right now, WA, you and 9A-91 will stay in rooftops, you two will be our eyes and ears, MP41, you and Lewis will guard the entrance of the hotel, conceal your weapons for a while, MP41 and P99 will stay with me to meet our target, that will be all..." and with that, all of the T-Dolls nodded and headed to the hotel, when they reached the entrance they were stopped by a couple of security guards
"Halt, state your business here..." the first guard spoke as Ishui grabbed his Rubiks cube and it shifted into a holographic projector revealing his ID
"Ishui Kamakura, Junior Commander from Griffin and Kryuger PMC, we are here to meet with a man named Sergei Antonovich Stezhensky, we are here to ask several questions"
One security guard ordered his friend to go inside and talked with the front desk and the Security Guard Captain
"Please wait for a moment," said the first security guard
"Actually, I need your rooftop access, we are suspecting the man that we are going to question the hell out is also targeted by someone, so I need my sniper to keep the place clear from any threats..." He demanded as the security guard pointed to an emergency stairs
"You two go now..." he ordered WA and 9A-91
"Lewis, M1A1, stay here and guard the entrance..." with that the Machine Gun Doll and Rifle Doll headed to their posts, the second security guard walked out and gave Ishui clearance to enter, MP41 and P99 entered the hotel and the porter took them to the 6th floor
"Mr Stezhensky, You have a visitor.." the porter knocked for a moment and waited, a faint voice could be heard from inside the room, the door opened revealing the man that matched with the description from the picture that Kryuger gave
"Кто ты?" Said the man confused, Ishui was even more confused because he never learned any Russian language or another foreign language other than English
"Uhh, what did he say?" He asked his Dolls which P99 only responded with a giggle
"Don't worry Commander, I have a translator module attached, he said 'Who are you?'" P99 explained which made Ishui smiled at ease knowing this shouldn't be a problem
"My name is Ishui Kamakura, a commander from Griffin and Kryuger PMC, we are here to ask you several questions..." Ishui replied which P99 began translating it
"Меня зовут Ishui Kamakura и я командир ЧВК "Грифон и Крюгер"
The man's eyes widen before making way for Ishui to come in
"Пожалуйста, зайдите внутрь" said the man
"Please, come in" P99 translated
"It is almost like we are invited...MP41, stay here and guard your place, P99 let's go" He ordered
"And as for you..." he paused at the porter before giving him a 20 yen tip" The porter bowed before leaving the trio together
"Jawohl, Mein Herr" MP41 saluted as she stood next to the door, guns ready to fire, the door closed behind her
Mangaka and T-Dolls
The time showed 13:44 in the noon, the beach had quite a lot of visitors, M1A1 was sitting under the umbrella
"Phew, today was so hot" she whined while wiping some sweats off from her forehead
"Well we are in Coastal City after all, so it is not surprising" Lewis giggled at her remarks, she was sitting on the bench next to the beach chairs with umbrellas
"I still prefer our base back in Russia, but a job is a job" M1A1 sighed while leaning on the chair
"I wonder how are the others?" Lewis let her mind wandering around, but her daydreaming was cut short when a couple of men walked towards the two
"Lewis, look..." M1A1 shyly pointed at the incoming entourage of men
"Well, looks like several beach boy hunks are coming to flirt us~" Lewis just smiled while maintaining her calm posture as the 3 beach boy hunks stopped on their tracks with a lustful smirk plastered on their faces
"Hey you 2 beautiful ladies, how about we ditch this place and have some fun~? I can guarantee we can make you all cool off~" One of them began flirting as the other 2 sat next to each doll, one with M1A1 and one with Lewis
"Quite a nice offer, but no, we prefer to stay here, and I can guarantee that you didn't like me when I am annoyed" Lewis spat back without any slight angry tone which made them think she was just playing around
"Ooh~ scary~ we like that in girls~" the one hunk that sat next to Lewis began fondling her breasts as M1A1 shyly looked away
"Hey look man, this one a shy, seems we hit a jackpot" the one that sat next to M1A1 laughed before Lewis followed suit
"Alright then, if you boys don't leave I had to take action with my own hands~" Those boys' perverted mind wandered somewhere else as the three changed their minds and surrounded Lewis, despite differences in height, she didn't have any fear etched on her face
"Guess you know how to party huh~?" One of them smirked before trying to touch the top of Lewis' uniform, and that's when Lewis body-slammed his muscular body on the sand which shocked the other 2
"what the hell?! you want some problem bitch?!!" the other 2 pulled out a knife while Lewis giggled, and that giggle turned into a laugh as she took her machine gun and pointed at the hunks
"You really should heed my advice gentlemen, also, don't bring a knife to a gunfight, it will end badly for you~" she giggled while one of the hunks scoffed at her
"Heh, that gun probably nothing but a prop" He ate his words so soon as Lewis fired several rounds towards the sea startling the trio
"Shit! she legitimately had a gun!" said the one on the ground
"Run man! go go go!!!" all of them escaped in panic and the situation was settled
"See? that wasn't so bad" She assured M1A1 that was nothing to be feared about
M1A1 sighed in relief seeing she was casually handling this problem
Back to the room, Sergei gave Ishui several pictures regarding the thing that attacked the airbase
"So this thing is indeed moving...but what are they aiming??" He wondered to himself as he saw another picture, the thing could see extended its giant mechanical arms and digging under the seafloor, he grabbed another picture and some new odd-looking metal parts began attached on its body
"Wait, those metal parts weren't there before, P99 can you scan this?" he gave the picture to P99 and she began to scan it, several seconds later the scanning beam turned red
"It is hard for me to scan due to the low quality of the picture..." P99 sighed before giving the picture back to Ishui
"I'm sorry, Commander" she looked down which made Ishui smile and pat her head
"It is fine, P99..." he paused before turning back to Sergei "Mister, do you know the aftermath or anything related to the incident?"
P99 translated it to him
"Вы можете рассказать нам о последствиях инцидента?"
The male looked around for a moment before closing the curtains
this made the rookie commander and his trusty assistant confused, Sergei then grabbed a dusty book filled with newspaper clippings
Ishui shrugged it for a while at first before opening the book, and that was when he was shocked because of the picture included in one of the newspapers, the picture revealing some sort of satellite date back around the end of 1999, the satellite crashed on an unnamed and uncharted island off the coast of the Arctic Ocean, few kilometres away from the primary Arctic Ring, it was found by an Icebreaker hailed from Norway, the crews that we're investigating the wreckage was later found dead with a horrified expression etched to their faces, one of the crews was found still alive and took by the Government for questioning but to no avail, he was sent to an asylum located in an isolated Siberian tundra
Ishui flipped the pages and found another similar incident this time happened around 2003, a piece of some unknown wreckage was found on the grounds of Greenland, Canadians and Danish Researchers went to the location and found out the piece of the wreckage as a result of an explosion and contain high levels of radiation, they dropped the case soon after
The last was an apparition spotted by Royal Air Force radar arrays on the coast of Dover, United Kingdom, around 2007, during Christmas Eve, an unidentified flying object or UFO was spotted hovering at such a low speed on the skies of the English Channel, several RAF Jet Fighters tried to intercept but all of their planes suffering a malfunction and crash-landed on the coast of Brest, France, no fatal casualties ever recorded and one of the pilots said the Object glowed red before sending their planes to a rapid descent
"These were quite mysterious, but how are these linked to the Object on the Arctic?" Ishui wondering about the links
"Perhaps the closest one being the RAF incident, the first two was very off..." P99 replied
Sergei then snatched the book and frantically flipped the pages until arrived at one page with a newspaper clipping and a lot of markers
"Wait...this?!"
The page that Ishui saw titled "Several People Died After a Panamanian Oil Rig Explosion in Southern Pacific" happened 2 years after the RAF incident, on one of the lines, marked with a red marker, "A red beam could be seen hitting the bottom of the Rig, destroying the foundation and sunk to the abyss..." Ishui flipped the paper and a small picture was taken from the coast guard, a huge, metallic arm-like tentacle could be seen floating on the ocean, but coast guard reports discard it as a floating pipeline from the Rig
"This...the picture of the arm here, similar to what we saw on the news, but why the government missed something this big?" Ishui thought to himself before looking at Sergei
"Can I have this book?" Ishui asked before P99 translated it
"Можно нам эту книгу?" P99 added which the man nodded before Ishui put the scrapbook in his bag
"Our task is done here, we need to go..." Ishui stood up and as he was about to reach the door handle, a loud shot could be heard piercing through the glass window and hit Sergei on the back of his head
"What the fuck?!" he was surprised to see someone got shot right before his eyes, he was stopped dead on his tracks, he had his memories flashing on his eyes before P99 pushed him away
"Commander! Watch out!!" she managed to move him out of the way and another shot could be heard from the door
MP-41 was shocked to see P99 and Commander already ducked down and another shot could be heard
"Scheiße!! where are the gunshots?!" MP-41 helped Ishui and P99 to the safe place and escaped from the scene
Somewhere on a rooftop, 3 kilometres away from the Resort, two people wearing dark matte body armour complete with a visor finished calibrating their device
"This Sniper sentry works wonders..." One soldier said to another one
"..." another soldier remained silent while still looking through the binoculars
"Hey, what's the status, Crow?" The other personnel named Crow took off the binoculars and put them on the side pouch
"Target is neutralized...but we lost precious time not getting the cargo...tell the ground troops to intercept Griffin, we cannot let the secret to being unfolded"
Crow headed back to the ground floor as the other soldier packing the sniper system which was an Autonomous Anti-Material Rifle System (AAMRS) a computerized tripod fitted with any .50 calibre sniper rifle with a long-range scope that connected to a monitor and joystick to move the sniper turret around, accessories included both thermal and IR scope and an automatic bullet feeding system
Back to the resort, Ishui immediately pulled out his walkie-talkie, and P99 was looking at the corpse of Sergei
"This is Beekeeper! All Lotus do you read me?!" Ishui waited as a familiar voice could be heard
"Lotus Zero, coming in loud and clear! what is it kiddo?" Ikada replied. He was waiting in his LAV while taking a smoke
"Target is dead! Our mission has been compromised! we need an evac immediately!!"
Ikada put off his cigar before cursing
"Shit! hang on, Transport on the way! All Lotus! standby!!" Ikada pedalled his LAV to the resort and Ishui was rushing downstairs via a fire exit
"Contact 9A-91 and WA2000, leave the place now, we are evacuating!!" He ordered any T-Doll that was with him to alert the rooftop guards
"9A-91, WA2000! Leave your post!!" MP-41 shouted via her comms module
"What happened? was the mission compromised?!" WA2000 was still observing via her sniper scope before packing up her weapon back
"We got what we wanted but the man, Sergei, was dead by a Sniper!" Ishui replied via the cube, "There is nothing that we can do, the best thing to do is to evacuate!!"
"Alright, we are heading down now!" WA2000 was looking down from the rooftop and saw the emergency stairs
"Screw that..." She then grabbed a sling rope and attached it to one of the pipes and rappelled her way from the top and 9A-91 followed suit
Ishui reached downstairs and saw an armoured car that didn't belong to any of the escorts from the SP's
"Was that our ride??" MP-41 asked and as Ishui was about to walk towards the car, the backdoor opened revealing a man wearing the same armour as the snipers, reinforced with exoskeleton carrying an LMG
"No that's not ours, COVER!!" Ishui ordered as the unknown soldier began spraying rounds towards Ishui and the Dolls began taking cover on any solid objects mainly concrete
"Who are they?! can anyone tell me?!" Ishui shouted from behind a souvenir vendor
"That equipment was not from any armed forces!!" P99 lay a suppressive fire using her handgun
"Lewis! suppressive fire!!" Ishui ordered as the British Machine Gun Doll began shooting rounds out of her MG
The rounds hit the soldier, but the exoskeleton protected him
Ishui cursed before seeing more soldiers walked out from the armoured car, and their gear was similar to the Heavy Duty soldiers minus the exoskeleton and armed with standard-issue assault rifles
Ikada coming in clutch and opened the door "Get in!!!" He ordered
Ishui rushed to the car followed by other Dolls while spraying fire towards the attacking enemy
"Drive! Drive!!"
Ikada then slammed his foot on the pedal and drove away from the scene
The heavy-duty soldier went back inside the armoured car and followed Ikada's LAV
"Beekeeper to all Lotus!! We need support, an armoured car was following us, coming in hot!!" Ishui spoke through the walkie-talkie as Ikada dodged the LAV from incoming bullets
"Lotus 3 en-route to your position," said an SP personnel
"Lotus 2 followed suit, tell us where we suppose to meet?"
"Exit 43, use the utility road, what about Lotus 1?!" Ishui sighed hearing that they will get assistance
"Lotus 1 reporting! we are still under heavy attack! these armed men pinned us down, Local law enforcement already joined in!!"
"Stay put, Lotus 2, assist Lotus 1 and let Lotus 3 come to us!!" Ishui coordinated the attack, P99 watched her commander in awestruck, once just a normal barista and a mangaka now really a commander, or at least by her standards...
10 minutes into the chase, Ishui spotted the same LAV that he was in and the top open revealing an SP soldier spraying rounds onto Ishui's pursuers
"Lotus 3, we need to slow them down, then when we managed to escape, gather with Lotus 2 and 1 to escape Hokkaido" Ishui ordered the men in the other LAV
"what about you sir?"
"Relax, I have a plan" He only assuring the men to do their job
"9A-91, MP-41...Give suppressing fire to them, let Lotus 3 do their job..."
The 2 corresponding dolls nodded and they opened the side windows and gave the armoured vehicle some lead, despite did nothing but deflecting the bullets left, right, and centre, it did a good job of distracting them, the top of the vehicle opened and revealing a soldier with an RPG
"RPG!!!" MP-41 ducked back in as Ikada swerved to the right to avoid the explosive hitting them, Lotus 3's LAV went closer to the armoured vehicle and one of the SP officers lay down a cover fire onto the back of the vehicle, some bounced off until he decided to shot the wheels and it created several holes enough to slow them down,
"Lotus 3 to Beekeeper! We managed to slow them down!! use your time to escape!!" one of the Lotus 3 member radio Ishui about their actions
"Alright, get yourselves to safety, we can leave now!!" He sighed as Ikada drove towards an exit leading to the utility road
"Alright kid, we are in this utility road, your next move?" Ikada asked
"We need to stay low for a while, the news will blow up about this...and I know just the place.." He smirked before continuing his sentence
"Head to the 5th exit!"

Kamoenai Fishing Village
Hokkaido
1455 hrs
After escaping their pursuers, Ishui and his group arrived at Kamoenai Village
"Kamoenai Village? isn't this your gramps place??" Ikada asked while driving slowly and looking around
"Yeah, this place only famous for tourism only, hiding here is beneficial, but this month is not a holiday season, so this is just an ordinary fishing village..." Ishui smiled knowing he could use this place to hide and visiting his grandparents
Many villagers and kids around following Ishui's jeep, because they never saw any military vehicle passed their area before
"Ah stop here! that house is my grandparents!!" Ishui unbuckled his seatbelt before hopping out from the LAV and rushed to the door and knocked
"Hello? anyone home??"
The Dolls hopped down from the ride and Ikada parked near the huge shrine located few meters away from Ishui's grandparents' house
some eyes were looking towards the girls with guns and even several kids that were present in the area were quite scared about the presence of the Dolls
After knocking several times, the door opened revealing a sweet old lady hunched a little bit while wearing glasses
"Yes? Can I help you, young man?" she asked
"It's me, Grandma, Ishui!" as he said that she fixed her glasses before gasping
"Awww, welcome my dear child!! What brings you by in this fine day??" She smiled and hugged her grandson
"Well... I and my friends wished to stay for a couple of days, maybe 3 to 5 days?" He asked, his Grandma looked behind him and saw that he was with several girls
"Well, you grew up to be a naughty boy eh? bringing over 6 girls to this house" She giggled which made Ishui blushed and also the rest of the girls
"I-It is not like that Grandma, they are just my friends from work..." He sighed as she pats him on the shoulder
"Come on in then, it'll rain soon, and also the perfect time for dinner!" Ishui smiled hearing her response and he entered the premises followed by the dolls and then Ikada.
For now, the group was safe from the pursuit, they have what they want, and Ishui will use this time to analyze the proof

My college work is piling up again, but soon my 4th semester is over
Covid has eaten my sanity a lot
My father's father passed away due to Covid and I just got my second shot of Covid Vaccine
My plans for this that I will finish this book alongside a small idea that I have

- Gate, Thus JSDF fought there x Red Alert Series
