Bubbles came into awareness slowly. The voice whispering to her had faded once again to the back of her consciousness. She lifted the mask off her face, removing the IV embedded in her arm. When she stretched, her back cracked in protest. She wasn't sure how long she had been asleep, but she felt worlds better.

She climbed the stairs, humming a tune softly as she turned the knob, returning to the main floor. She followed the voices to the living room, spotting her two sisters on the couch. Blossom glanced over to her in surprise, springing from her seat.

"How are you already awake?" Buttercup turned in her direction as well, surprise also showing on her features. Bubbles looked back at them confused, rubbing her arm.

"What do you mean? I feel great. How long have I been out?"

"A few hours...you feel great?" Bubbles blinked, shrugging off the news. She felt great, so who cares how long she was asleep?

"Yeah, I feel great. I could even see Boomer and not worry about attacking him for now. But I'm with Buttercup, I think we should kidnap them." Blossom sighed in frustration, officially over the whole situation. She had planned to have Bubbles sleep for the next few days, long enough to give them time to warm up to the idea of turning into vampires. She hadn't wanted to take away their choice, knowing how much they had hated being forced into this life.

"We need to talk to them, we've run out of time, but we shouldn't take away their choice in this. So no kidnapping." Buttercup and Bubbles pouted, sitting back down obediently.

"But just because we should leave the decision to them, doesn't mean we can't try to work it to our favor." Blossom smirked, cocking her hips to the side. Bubbles and Buttercup got the hint, mirroring her smirk. There was no harm in trying.

Brick was frustrated. Blossom had seemingly done a 180 in her attitude. She was still just as aloof, but she would do little things to get at him, and he knew she knew what she was doing. It started during Chemistry. Blossom usually wore her lab coat buttoned almost to her neck, and would face forward unless they needed to face each other. But lately, her lab coat was buttoned up to the perfect height to tease the top of her chest. She'd then lean over to ask him something, flashing him a smile in thanks when he answered before continuing on to the next step. It was driving him up the wall, in wonderfully torturous ways. They both knew she didn't need to always ask him questions, as Chemistry was more her strong suit, but it boosted his ego nonetheless. He found himself paying more attention in class where he wouldn't have cared before, just so he'd know the answer. Brick didn't even realize how much he was allowing her to wrap him around her finger, but Blossom did.

Buttercup used more straight forward methods to get her point across. She would wait until Butch was alone, usually during lunch when he would sneak onto the roof. He was surprised to find her there the first time, but it had slowly become their hideout. Instead of brushing off his lewd jokes, she returned them with ones of her own, but only right before the bell rang. He too, was slowly being worked into a frenzy, wondering when she'd make good on her words. But it was the moments that they joked and talked about other things that had him really falling into her hands. She won him over without meaning to. She had leaned over, her excitement temporarily distracting her from her goal of seducing him. Her eyes had sparkled as she talked about the dance classes she took, leaning closer to him without a care in the world. She'd succeeded in her mission without realizing.

Boomer had already been more truthful then his brothers when it came to his feelings. Bubbles had long been aware of this, so she had sat him down and explained their situation. However, she didn't expect him to be against the idea of turning. Boomer didn't mind being with her forever, but he was opposed to turning into a vampire himself.

"How are we supposed to be together forever if you won't let me turn you? That doesn't make sense Boomie."

"I'd rather not be a blood sucking monster-" Boomer immediately choked on the foot he'd just put in his mouth. Bubbles, who'd been smiling during their talk, immediately frowned at his words. Her chest stung, causing her to stand and back away from him, gripping her arms. Boomer stood to follow, his hands reaching for her.

"Bubbles, I didn't mean-"

"So you think I'm a monster?" Her voice was so small he barely heard it. And when she looked back up at him, her expression was so heartbroken it hurt his in response.

"No, it's just a lot to take in. I mean, we've done a lot in the past, so I'm not claiming to be a saint...but drinking blood from people to survive is a bit...much." Bubbles flinched but didn't back down, knowing she couldn't let him talk himself out of this.

"You wouldn't be drinking from people, you'd just drink from me. The only reason I 'survive' off of other people is because I can't drink from you." That information made him feel better, but it didn't smooth over the issue.

"But wouldn't that hurt? And you said earlier that you'd fed from me twice already, but why can't I remember anything about that?" Bubbles looked awkward, looking anywhere but him.

"That's because we kinda...erased the memories of that happening-"

"You WHAT?! Bubbles. How could you do that?"

"You couldn't know until we were ready to tell you. I mean look how you're reacting now! How can you claim to love me but call me a monster? Drinking blood isn't even that bad, it's rather good, and it doesn't hurt unless you do it wrong. But what does this matter if you'll be drinking from me? I can guide you through the process until you're used to it-" Boomer rubbed his neck, frowning with each sentence she spoke.

"Bubbles, why are you talking like I've already made my decision?" Bubbles paused, blinking up at him. She grabbed his arm, suddenly nervous.

"What do you mean? I just assumed that we could work through your concerns until you're comfortable, but that you'd still choose me. It's okay if you won't turn now, but I don't know how much longer I'll be able to hold myself back from you." Boomer sighed, gently brushing her hand off his arm.

"I'm gonna need some time to process all of this." He turned away from her before he could see the utter rejection crash down on her face. But she held in her wails until he'd left. She didn't want him to think she was trying to sway him with her tears.
