"Do you think she's into younger guys?" James asks the other mauraders at the cafeteria table sheepishly. He couldn't stop staring over at Lily, chatting with a new freshman over at another table.

"James, you worry about the stupidest stuff" Sirius replies.

Remus lowers his eyelids, rests his chin in his palm and stares at James "Psychologically speaking, it's a tell tale sign of insecurity"

"I'm James Freaking Potter, wolf man" he turns to glare at Remus.

Peter scoffs sarcastically "Yeah, Remus, don't be ridiculous."

Meanwhile, over at the other table, Harry couldn't believe he was having this long of a conversation with his mom. The venturing back in time spell was well worth the risks associated with it. His mom was so beautiful and smart and had so much in common with him, he never wanted the conversation to end.

All of a sudden, a pale slender man with long black hair interrupts them.

"Lily, remember you promised we would study charms together." Snape states flatly. He puts his hand on Harry's shoulder and helps push him out of his chair.

"Oh yeah, Sev" Lily says and then smiles at Harry. "It was groovy talking with you. I'll see you around."

Harry's shy expression lights up. "Yeah, maybe we could meet up again sometime soo-"

Snape had already opened his charms book, his back to Harry, distracting Lily with the notes.

At the other end of the cafeteria, James sees Snape snatch a seat next to Lily and he angrily jumps out of his chair to go confront them but Sirius and Remus yank him back into his chair.

After lunch, the whole school was assembled in the courtyard for quidditch themed activities.

Dying to speak to Lily again, but acknowledging how little time he has, Harry searches the crowd for his teenaged dad. There are so many tall skinny men with ruffled brown hair but he spots one particular one with his back turned to him. The guy was surrounded by a guy who looked like teenaged Sirius and another who looked like teenaged Remus.

Harry casually stands somewhat behind the mauraders, hoping they notice him first.

Sirius leans into James' ear and whispers "Don't look now but that kid who was with Lily earlier is right behind you."

The tall man swivels his broad shoulders around and Harry holds his breath, staring at the handsome man with adorably ruffled dark brown hair and oval glasses.

James looks disdainfully down at Harry. "What are you doing talking to the senior girls?" He blurts out his first instinct and then his chocolate eyes widen. "And what's that on your forehead?"

"Who are you?" Harry plays dumb, hoping to not blow his cover even though James was already more than oblivious.

James's rage for Harry increases. "I'm James. Potter. Head boy, quidditch mvp. You must be BRAND new and talking to Lily like... well not like I care about that but"

Remus interrupts James's rambling with a friendly smile to Harry. "Ignore him. James is married to her in his fantasies. I'm glad you're making new friends and Lily's a great one to start off with" he places a hand on Harry's shoulder gently.

Harry completely ignores what Remus just said because he kept his gaze on James. "I do know who you are! You're my biggest role model."

All the mauraders are shocked. Remus, disdainfully so.

"I said ... What's with the scar on your forehead?" James asks sternly, trying to keep cool.

Author's note:

This is honestly just a little sketch I randomly thought of and had to write. I could continue it, there are more scenes I'm thinking of adding that would be cute. But it's mainly just fluff. Let me know what you think.
