Little World rewritten Prologue:
Author Notes(Skip it if you don't want to read a very long note!):
First of all, thank you for clicking on this fanfiction! And I'm sorry for such an awfully long note. It it most certainly not the best fanfiction you'll ever read, but it is definitely better than the original version I wrote 3 years ago. That one was pure cringe, but if you want to compare that cringe to the original to the rewritten one go ahead. You can find the original on on my account: "Unlatrun" under the name "Little World" in my gallery. I advise you to read the rewritten version first tho. You might not want to read that mess the original was.
This story is also heavily inspired by Anshee-Rose's gem of a story: "I became a Vulpix"!
You will probably find some similarities, also this story is an OC-insert! But the characters have next to nothing in common with me.
Please be nice when you write a review. I am not very good with criticism even tho I appreciate them a lot! Keep in mind that English is not my first language. When I mention my Beta Reader in the authors note, they will have checked for mistakes for me!
Right now the chapters haven't been checked. I still have to contact them, after I had a huge hiatus. So time for lots of awkwardness!

This fanfiction is rated M! M for mature!
This story is filled with dark themes, you'll encounter suicidal tendencies, depression, animal abuse, blood, toxic & unhealthy relationships, murder, strong language, bullies and some other stuff that I'm probably forgetting. I'll try to keep the strong language at a minimum, should it become to much, please do tell me! Those things all may appear, but are not the main focus of the story! The story is slow paced and focuses on the main characters flaws.
Prologue itself is very heavy and not for the lighthearted! The prologue includes murder, terror, death of a loved one and fear.
Those things might not sit well with everyone. Rape is not in this story, I feel far too uncomfortable to ever include it. Most likely the topic will only ever be mentioned, but is not a part of the story. No character will suffer under it. There will be no lemons or anything of the sort, it is not that type of fanfiction.
Oh but this fanfiction could be quite offensive.
The main characters are absolute assholes and aren't afraid to show it! You will probably disagree with the main character quite a lot!
Last thing: You'll find warnings on every chapter on the top of the page and authors notes on the bottom. You don't have to read authors notes, but in case you are triggered by some topics/things, read at least the warning please. If you think I forgot to include something in the warning of a chapter, please tell me immediately! It could catch some readers of guard if I forgot to include it! Reviews are welcome and so are favs and follows, but I write this for fun and you don't have to do any of that if you don't want to! My motivation does not come from reviews and favs! Little World rewritten Arc 1
Prologue:
"There you are", rang through my mind, as my chest begun to feel wet.
You know how stories always tell you that people see their life flash before their eyes as they die?
It was most certainly not my entire life that flooded my mind, but certainly memories I was very fond of.
"I love you Yuna!", I cheered while holding her hands. "I love you too Mary!", she softly replies. Her black, silk like hair looked like fantastic match to her short, black dress. I myself wore a similar dress just in a brown, grey shade. Today was our 5th anniversary, 5 years ago we became a couple and have been inseparable ever since. "But... how about we go somewhere else next time?" I frowned. "Is this not good enough?", I asked disappointed. I had hoped that this restaurant with 4 stars would be special enough for her. "Ahaha well I was hoping for that other restaurant you know that one across the city plaza?" I thought about it.
It was a very high class restaurant 5 stars, with at least 3 months wait list. "I'm sorry, I'll take us there next time then! I'll make sure to work extra hard to afford it!" "Aww Mary you don't have to do that!", I grabbed her hands a little tighter.
"You are the most important person in my life, if this isn't good enough for you, than it isn't, I'll make sure to do much better next time!" I probably looked very serious, I was determined to make my words true. "Oh Mary", she shook her head, but smiled brightly. "You only deserve the best my love! I'm sorry I ruined this for us, I should have asked you first." Shortly after I was pulled into a kiss. I'd do everything for her, just to see her smile.
She who had the loveliest smile of them all.
"MARY! NO!"
"HOW COULD YOU!?"
I heard Yuna screaming beside me, she must have realized that I have been shot. I was bleeding heavily, but I hadn't lost enough to lose my balance, I could still stand my own. Funnily enough it seemed like you didn't just fall back when you were shot. Maybe it depended on which area was shot? Funny how you think about this stuff when you you suddenly become aware that death awaits you.
I couldn't focus on what was happening.
All I knew that I was shot for trying to disarm the man with the white mask in front of us.
Well that didn't turn out very well.
My shirt started to soak itself with my blood. Dripping down where it became too much.
"A sweet new home!", Yuna cried overjoyed as she danced in circles at the entrance of our new home. I had only been 3 years since we became a couple, but we only recently managed to get away far enough to escape our families. Finally we didn't have our creators breathing down our neck at all times. I breathed in relieved. "Yeah finally we got away did we not?" "I couldn't have done it without you Mary! I love you so much!", she practically jumped into my arms. I returned the hug immediately. "I love you more than anything Yuna, finally we are free!" "Yes we sure are!" We looked at each other, both of us masked with warm expressions. Her smile was the loveliest I knew. She was warmer than anyone I ever knew. The only person that could accept me for who I was and I was the only one that could make her happy.
She who mattered to me most.
"It's okay Yuna, I'm fine, see? Please don't cry", I grabbed her trembling arms and pulled her into a hug. "I'm sorry, that my blood is tainting your beautiful dress." I grabbed her cheek.
"Aww isn't that cute? Hurry up your lasts words! You have one Minute!"
"Did you hear Yuna? An entire minute!", tears began to fall from my cheeks, but it wasn't nearly as bad as Yunas reaction, she started sobbing hysterically.
"I d-don't want to die", she sobbed, grabbing me tightly.
"I know, me neither not without you."
I wasn't able to hold myself. My body dragged her down to the ground.
Lying on the ground reminded me of on of our dates.
We were lying on a grass field gazing at the stars. We had sneaked out to be together in the middle of the night. Our families would never allow it otherwise, especially not if they knew we were dating. So they didn't need to know it at all. "We will be in so much trouble if they find out!", she sobbed quietly covering her face with the sleeves of her jacket. "I know, my father will probably kill me if he does. But you know what?", I got up in a sitting position. I looked up in the clear night sky. It was such a lovely night filled with numerous stars shining brightly. "It is worth it! You are worth it and I'll fight anyone who thinks otherwise!" I shot my arms up for a dramatic effect. Tho she was still covering her face, even when I placed my arms down again.
A quiet sob escaped her, but it sounded more like a weak laugh. I crawled towards her and hovered over her. "You are such a bad girl Mary!", she laughed a little louder. Her arm lifting up slightly to reveal her face, she grinned at me, causing me to grin at her too.
"Haha but you love me for it don't you?" It didn't take long for her to reply, with the softest voice she could. "Of course I love you stupid dork!"
We spent as much time as we could together during this night.
She who shone brighter than any star could.
"Mary..?", her voice was cracking. Her face covered in tears and snot. Her whole body was trembling. "I love you Mary!"
"I love you too Yu-"
I heard a gunshot.
Bloodd suddenly entered my vision.
Yuna who had held on so dearly, grip slipped. Her body falling into my arms with no resistance.
Just dead weight. My eyes were wide in shock.
Her head was quickly covered in blood. Blood running from mouth, nose and at the side of her head.
Just a gross mess of her left. No sign of life.
She was dead.
My love died.
She who meant the world to me.
She who taught me love.
She who I loved most.
She was dead.
Died in my arms. Killed instantly through a bullet in her head.
The last thing I could remember were tears falling from my checks.
My hysteric scream and sobbing, until even that died.
I didn't even hear the gunshot when everything turned black.
