Are they here yet?
Well, they called two hours ago, they're probably just a few minutes away. Will you please calm down, Jack. You're stressing me out!
I'm sorry. I'm just excited we're having them for the whole weekend.
I know. It's been a while since we have any of our children come over. I have almost forgotten how it feels like.
Oh, Judy. I just hope Daniel warms up to us real soon.
Of course, he will.
Oh, Monica will be surprised to see the rooms.
Jack hears a cab pull over in front of their new house.
They're here!…My grandson is here! Jack quickly opens the door to meet them.
Jack takes Daniel from Chandler and leads them to the living room. Monica gives her dad a kiss.
Oh, Daniel is big already, huh Chandler? And he really looks a lot like me! Chandler just laughs at the remark.
Dad, where's mom? Monica asks.
Oh, she's upstairs. Come on, kids. Let me show you your room.
Judy comes out from one of the rooms and gives Monica a kiss, hugs Chandler and takes Daniel from Jack.
So, Chandler, Monica, this is where you'll stay. Your dad and I thought we ought to have a 3-bedroom house so we can all stay here once in a while. You know, you and Chandler and the kids, and Ross and his family if he ever decides to marry again.
We have a room here?
Of course!… We will never turn this room into a gym! Judy says while looking at Jack who looks away.
Wow, mom! This is really beautiful.
I'm glad you like it… And Daniel can stay in this other room. Judy leading them to the next room.
Wow, you got a kid's bed?
Yes, we bought the bed just in time for our Daniel's visit… And you notice the barrier by the stairs? … Well, we made sure we got it installed before you came to day. Judy explaining to both Chandler and Monica their preparations.
This is amazing! Chandler feeling overwhelmed by such gesture. Thank you.
Oh, it's okay son. Jack tells Chandler. We really want to make sure you'll both be comfortable leaving Daniel with us when you go on your honeymoon!
Chandler was so impressed at the preparations made by Jack and Judy. Judy prepared their meal and there is a high chair for Daniel at the dinner table.
So, Chandler, Monica, we thought we can have a sort of practice tomorrow. Jack telling the couple while having dinner.
Practice for what, dad? Monica asks.
Oh, your mom and I thought you and Chandler can go out for a while, watch a movie or something while we watch Daniel.
Judy seconded Jack's proposal - And you don't need to go far. You can just go to the nearby movie house. That way, Daniel can get used to us looking after him.
I think it's a great idea! Chandler replied before Monica had the chance to turn down the suggestion. Right, Mon?
Yeah, great idea. Monica says hesitantly while looking at Chandler and faking a smile.
Monica, why don't you help me out with the dishes and let the boys stay for a while at the living room.
There was awkward silence between two women once they were left alone in the kitchen. Both waiting for the other to open a conversation.
Monica starts to wash the dishes while her mother wipes them dry.
Mom, thank you! It was Monica who broke the ice.
I'm proud of you! Judy tells Monica without looking at her.
Really? Monica stops for a while to look at her mother.
I know I was a little hard on you.
A little?
Okay, I was so hard on you and I realized that only recently. But I am really proud of you. How independent you are, what you've accomplished in your life - your career as a chef, your family life …
You always told me you thought I would never get married.
I only said that because I was so afraid someone will break your heart and you'd end up not wanting to get married… I know it's bad logic and I'm sorry. Judy finally looking at Monica and initiating a hug, which Monica accepted.
And just to be clear, Monica, you are beautiful!
What?
Yes… you are!…. even with your big ears, you are beautiful!
Ahhh! Monica, who was obviously touched, stretched her arms to her mother for another hug.
At the Living Room
So, Chandler, looks like Monica is not having a hard time with this pregnancy.
Oh, before the wedding, she wasn't but since the wedding, she's really handling it well.
Thank you, Chandler for making our daughter very happy.
Oh, she makes me really happy, too… I mean, she's amazing…. I can't even find the right words to describe what she really is to me.
Oh, you are really in love with her! You know, I know that she loves you, too. My daughter really doesn't go into something she's not passionate about and that includes being in love.
Judy and Monica went to the living room together.
Oh, Jack, Chandler, I think that little tyke's sleepy now. Judy tells them.
Monica, I think it's best if you let us put him to sleep.
Chandler lets Jack take Daniel to his room. Jack puts him on the bed while Judy starts to make him his bottle of milk as written on the notepad prepared by Monica for them.
Chandler and Monica watch Jack and Judy get so invested at getting their grandson to sleep.
Hey, kids, you can go to sleep now. Your mom and I will stay here for a few minutes more. Jack tells Chandler and Monica.
Chandler settles on his side of the bed browsing magazines by his bedside. His attention got distracted when he saw Monica in her spaghetti-strapped top and shorts. He can't seem to take his eyes off of her.
I know what you're thinking. Monica tells him as she folds their clothes and places them in the cabinet.
What… I'm reading! Chandler covers his face with the magazine and pretends to read, but surrenders almost immediately. Alright! You're right! I'm thinking about what you think I am thinking! Then shows Monica his cutest smile when she turns to face him.
Monica then jumps on Chandler on the bed and pins him there by kissing him. Hmmmm. You think they can hear us?
Maybe? Monica said.
But this room is on the opposite side. I mean, maybe they won't hear us 'coz that will be really weird.
It's your idea!
Okay. Chandler is relieved that Monica doesn't find him weird wanting to have sex almost all the time and even more thankful when Monica initiates or seduces him into it. Monica just makes him feel so sexy when she does that. Chandler laughs at the thought.
Chandler tries to control his movements so as not to make as much noise as possible but with the silence of the night, every thrust just produces a sound.
Monica as well tries her hardest not to scream or moan but every once in a while, a sound would escape from both of them that draws a smile on their faces.
Judy woke up early but was surprised to see that Monica is already up and preparing breakfast.
Oh, why are you up so early?
Oh, I checked on Daniel but couldn't get back to sleep so I thought I'd prepare breakfast for us.
You and Chandler had a nice sleep?
Oh, yes, mom. Sleep was, was nice.
Good. Judy hiding a smile as if she knew something. But Monica noticed.
You didn't hear us, did you?
Oh, we didn't hear anything! You mean from all over the opposite room? No, we didn't hear.
Monica covered her face with her hands.
Oh, it's okay. That's really how newly-married couples are. You want to make memories everywhere… I mean, even when your parents are just feet away. Judy takes Monica's hands off her face. Look, I'll be worried if Chandler is not all over you this early in your marriage….So, maybe your dad and I can just put some soundproofing in that room next time you visit.
Monica smiles.
Back at Apartment 20
Chandler and Monica announced to their friends that they are finally going on their honeymoon to London.
Jack and Judy proved that they can handle Daniel and Monica is finally confident leaving her son with them.
Meanwhile, back in Long Island, at Jack and Judy's new house, the couple couldn't stop talking about little Daniel. How well- behaved he is and how his mannerisms are just like his father.
Judy, I'm really happy seeing our Harmonica, you know, as a wife, as a mother and she even works. I mean, I am just so proud of what she has become.
I know. I now realize why Ross can't seem to go far away from his sister and how their friends like to be around her.
And did you see how Chandler just adores her? Oh, and Daniel, too!
Well, Jack, I think she deserves all of that!
Definitely!
