Rachel was supposed to be giving birth any time now. She has tried everything from eating spicy foods to taking long walks and was even considering having sex with Ross again but still no sign of the baby coming out. She's really been so uncomfortable that she's been feeling really irritated at almost anything and Ross was usually at the receiving end of her annoyance.

People ask why we're not together. I just don't know what to tell them. Ross tells Monica.

Ross, you just have to be patient with her. It's really not easy being pregnant. Monica said.

I know and I'm really trying, Mon. Well, how come you don't get annoyed at Chandler? I mean, I don't hear you snapping at him at every opportunity.

I guess I'm just lucky I didn't get to experience such extreme discomfort just like what Rachel is experiencing now plus, you know, with your relationship still hanging, I can imagine how afraid she must be having to face being a parent alone.

But she is not alone! I'm here! I mean I even gave up Mona and agreed not to date yet until she has given birth!

Well then, I can't understand why you both can't commit to each other, I mean, given the things you just said, Ross.

Oh, I don't know. We've said and done too many stupid things that have insulted or hurt each other. It's just too stressful whenever we are in a relationship with each other…. Maybe we're just meant to be just two people raising a kid together.

All right, let's go! Rachel tells Ross upon exiting the bathroom.

Hey, Ross, Rache! I won't be able to go with you at the hospital now, you know…Monica pointing at her very pregnant tummy.

Say no more, Mon. We understand… But you have to be there once the baby's out.

Of course, I will. I am excited to see my niece already!

Later in the evening, Monica came home. It was a busy night at the restaurant and it was evident that she was tired. She took time climbing the stairs to their floor and walked slowly towards their door. Along the hall, she could hear Chandler reading The Velveteen Rabbit to their son with such gusto. Imagining his face as he read made her smile.

She opened the door slowly careful not to disturb the father and son moment. She was standing for quite a while watching Chandler read the story to their son who was lying on the couch with his feet on Chandler's lap. Midway through the book, Chandler noticed his wife walking towards them with her forefinger to her mouth.

Monica kissed Daniel's forehead to her child's surprise. Mommy! Monica pressed and rubbed her face on Daniel's tummy, her son screaming and laughing at the top of his lungs. Monica then held Chandler's face with both hands before pressing her lips deep into his.

She sat on the center table and moved her head back and forth between Chandler and Daniel - You two are just so handsome and fresh…. while me?... I am all sweaty.

You look tired, honey. Chandler commented.

But happy. she replied. Why are you both still up? You have work tomorrow. And you… Monica looking at Daniel and giving him another kiss on the cheek, why is my baby still up?

We want to see Mommy. Daniel touching his mother's face.

Ahh, that's so sweet, Daniel!… I want to see my Daniel, too. Daniel pointed his lips and pressed them against his mother's cheek.

Monica noticed Chandler approaching with a glass of milk on one hand and a sandwich in another. Ahhh, that's so sweet, honey. She said as she watched him put them on the center table. Chandler went back to the kitchen with two more glasses of milk.

The three of them had their late night snack in the living room just cuddled together in the couch. After a while, Chandler realized that Monica and Daniel had fallen asleep. He carefully stood from the couch and replaced his space with pillows so Monica wouldn't fall. He carried Daniel to his room onto his new bed putting pillows on both sides.

He carried Monica next. She was so tired she remained asleep. She never got to take a shower which she always did before going to bed. It was Chandler who removed her shoes and changed her clothing.

The past two weeks had been tough for the two of them with Chandler still trying to adjust in his new job. Chandler could no longer come home early in time for Monica's shift. He felt guilty that his decision to take the job had placed Monica on a very tight schedule at work and at home.

The following day, they heard news that Rachel had still not given birth. Chandler, upon Monica's prodding agreed to drop by the hospital to check on their friends before coming home.

Chandler, you're here! Phoebe and Joey said.

Yeah, Monica insisted that I drop by… so how's Rachel?

Oh, she's still in labor. Phoebe replied as they all headed to where Rachel and Ross were.

Seeing how irritated Rachel was with Ross made him feel so lucky that Monica was just the opposite of what Rachel was feeling at the time that she was giving birth to their Daniel. It may be a little cocky to say but he felt how in love Monica was with him that day Daniel was born.

When Rachel was finally sent to the Delivery Room, Chandler excused himself, which their friends easily understood - that he had a pregnant wife and a son waiting for him at home.

Monica was on her way to bring Daniel to his room when Chandler arrived.

Monica found Chandler still standing by the door looking at her.

Monica refused to comment on the look that Chandler was giving her. It was the look he would give her when he wanted physical intimacy. She focused on the food she was preparing for him but the way he was staring was just making her feel excited as well.

I feel like I'm naked now with the way you've been looking at me! she said not wanting to meet his eyes.

Oh you are, honey! he said as he approached her hugging her from behind and kissing her shoulder.

And what brought on this feeling?

Nothing, I just feel so lucky… he said kissing her neck… oh, and by the way, I just think you look so sexy. as he kissed her jaw.

Monica felt his hard on poking her back. So I guess we're having sex first?

Yes! Chandler said turning her face towards him. He pinned her upper lip with his and sucked it a few times. He felt her sucking his lower lip, too. Her lips always tasted so good.

You do know that you're having sex with your pregnant wife!

I love having sex with my pregnant wife!

Well, your pregnant wife loves having sex with her husband, too!

With his wife in his arms asleep, Chandler was already convinced he and Monica were bound to have lots of kids. That's because he could not NOT have sex with her. And with the way Monica responded to him every time, he thought it would not be hard to convince her to have more. He laughed at himself thinking about having more kids when she's still pregnant with their second.

The following day, Chandler, Monica and Daniel prepared early for their visit to Rachel at the hospital. Rachel had given birth and they heard she has not given the baby a name.

At then hospital, Chandler and Monica took the chance to talk with Jack and Judy about taking Daniel for a while when Monica gives birth. Monica's parents gladly agreed.

Gathered in Rachel's room, the friends saw her baby for the first time. They all thought she was gorgeous and looked a lot like Rachel though she didn't have a name yet.

Monica shared the baby names she had and immediately spotted how much Rachel wanted the name Emma, which Monica gladly gave up saying that she loves Rachel more.

Chandler beamed with pride at his wife's sweet gesture. He's really the luckiest man in the world to have such sweet, generous and kind woman for a wife.

Rachel caught the look that Chandler was giving Monica. Even in a room full of people and that the focus should be on the baby she had just given birth to, Chandler never failed to convey to Monica just how in love he is with her.

Rachel then noticed the red marks on Monica's neck and shoulders. She knew exactly what those were. She looked at Chandler whose eyes were still on his wife, then on Monica who was holding Daniel by the bed. She shook her head smiling then she looked at Ross wishing to see the look that Chandler had for Monica.
