Spyro slowly wakes up, but he didn't get a chance to sleep in the soft bed the Chronicler. Eon was up. Spyro could barely think as Eon started to crawl over, quickly.*
Eon: D-Dad! Wake up! Pleaaase? *Eon asks as he nudges Spyro's face.*
Spyro: E- E-... E- *Spyro tried to call, but Eon was nudging to quickly, he puffed as he turned.* Woah, Woah, what's up Son?
Eon: *Eon just sort of smiled.* You've been sleep for a while...
Spyro remains silent, he turns and sees that Cynder was still hugging Iggy under her arms. Spyro turned back to his son.*
Spyro: *Spyro chuckles.* ... It's still early... *Spyro yawns slowly and deeply, as he gets to rest his head on his arms. He closes his eyes.*
Eon: *Eon pauses before he shoves his head under Spyro's chin.* ... S-So I'm hungry then!
To Spyro's demise, Eon was getting stronger and bigger, his eyes opened to an uncomfortable shove, causing him to be even more awake.*
Spyro: A-Alright! I'll get up!
Eon: Yeah! Great... Um... Dad.. *Eon trotted in a wide circle around the room.*
Spyro slowly stands, trying to shake his head... hoping it was enough to wake himself up.*
Spyro: ... *Spyro smiles softly.* Well, your in a good mood this morning...
Eon: *Eon tilts his smile and just tries to hide his excitement.* ... What do you mean, Dad?
Spyro: *Spyro starts to limp forward.* I- Aaah... I mean... Your full of energy...
Eon: ... Mmmm, Well, okay dad! *Eon turns and turns around, as his long tail brushes by Spyro's.* ... Where do you think the Chronicler eats breakfast...
Spyro: Beats me Son...
Eon: *Eon whispers slowly.* ... I wonder where Lilly is...
Spyro: *Spyro tiredly turns.* ... What's that, Son?
Eon turns and just smiles.*
Eon: Oh, nothing Dad...
Spyro: ... Heh ... I'm not so sure I believe you...
Eon: *Eon turns, confused.* W-What do you mean your not...!?
Spyro: *Spyro just chuckles as he limps to the doorway, and holds himself steady.* ... I just mean... You seem pretty excited...
Eon nervously steps by his Dad.*
Eon: *He hides his shyness.* Well! We made it didn't we?
Spyro: *Spyro stares forward and smiles.* Yeah... Soon, you two will be cured.
Eon: Yeah...
[Central Chamber]
Spyro and Eon found themselves near the pond. Spyro slowly sat down and rested.*
Eon: ... *Eon smiled at his father.*
Hunter: Ah ... Your Awake! *Spyro and his son turned. Hunter saw them, and smiled happily, as he revealed that he had bowls of raw lamb in his arms. As he carefully carried four bowls over to the two dragons.*
Spyro: Well, is that our breakfast...?
Eon: Oh boy! That's a lot of meat!
Hunter: Yes... *Hunter smiles as he looks down at it.* ... Frost said that the Chronicler wants everyone fed well during our stay...
Eon: Hehehehe... Awesome...
Spyro: *Spyro sighs happily.* Well, I suppose I'll go wake up Cynder and Iggy then...
Eon was half listening at this moment, cause a small dragon walked in. His heart started to race when he saw it was Lilly.*
Lilly: *Lilly smiles, as she sees Eon.* ... Eon! Your already Awake!
Eon: *Eon smiled as he stood up.* Oh, Lilly! It really is-
Hunter and Spyro both notice her race across the grass and hug Eon.*
Eon: ...Y-You?
Lilly: *Lilly stroked his head once, before lifting herself off his shoulder.* ... You really do exist... Your not just a dream...
Eon: ... Yeah? *Eon just smiles, being nice enough to keep it simple for her.*
Spyro and Hunter exchanged a small glance. They both became curious over Lilly's words and her reaction.*
Spyro: *Spyro gave Lilly a smile, despite his curiousness starting to linger.* Well, hey there kiddo! Who might you be...? Are you Lilly?
Lilly sat down and smiled as she looked up at the purple dragon.*
Lilly: Yes, Master Spyro... Did your son speak of me?
Spyro: Uh... Yes... He told us about you and this place...
Lilly nodded slowly.*
Lilly: I hope your family founds safety and comfort while you all stay here...
Spyro: *Spyro smiles warmly. He found himself feeling better, just by talking to Lilly. He had the feeling he would like Lilly alot.* ... Oh, Well, thank you ...
Hunter: *Hunter found himself smiling as well.* ... I'd say you have good manner's Lilly.
Lilly: *Lilly nods at him.* ... Thank you, Master Hunter...
Hunter seems to wave his hand.*
Hunter: No need to call me master... We are just visitors in your fathers home...
*Lilly nods and bows her head.*
Lilly: Forgive me... I only find it polite...
Eon: *Eon smiles with glee. He was really happy to finally meet Lilly. He had never met a dragon his age, boy or girl. It didn't matter to him, he loved to have a new friend after so much danger.* ... Your polite enough as it is! No need for apology.
Spyro and Hunter exchange a confident smile, and they both nod at each other, approving of Lilly. They knew that the Chronicler had a good hearted daughter...
After a short amount a much needed talking, Spyro went to get the rest of his small family. Cynder and Iggy was eager to meet Lilly when Spyro mentioned her.
*They all had breakfast. The dragons had their bowl of Raw meat, whilst Hunter had a roasted fish jabbed into his own spear, he had gone out to the beach and caught it early that morning.*
Cynder: So your Lilly...
Lilly: Yes, Ma'am...
*Cynder smiles.*
Cynder: You know, that's a very pretty name...
Lilly: *Lilly smiles softly.* It was my mothers favorite flower...
*This made everyone's expression shift a little.*
Eon: Oh! Is she here?
Lilly: N-...
Spyro: *Spyro touched Eon's shoulder.* ... Son...
Lilly: *Lilly sighs, as she turns to Eon.* ... Sadly, my mother... past away, giving birth to me...
Eon: Oh... I... *Eon looked down.* I didn't mean to... bring...
Lilly: *Lilly smiles softly.* Its okay... you didn't know... *Lilly smiles at Spyro and Cynder.* ... You have awesome parents...
Eon: *Eon nervously chuckles, trying make this less awkward.* Oh... you really think so?
Lilly: My Daddy seems to think so...
*This made Spyro and Cynder stare for a moment. They wasn't expecting to hear that. They thought that at the very least, they had been a burden to the Chronicler, not... to hear a source of admiration.*
Cynder: *Cynder slowly looks at Spyro.* ... He thinks we're good parents...
Lilly: *Lilly seems to nervously shrugs as she speaks about her father.* ... He seems to think so... At least he said... You dearly loved your kids...
*This made Spyro and Cynder stare at each other, almost finally proud of themselves. Then their smiles faded, as they soon re-realized that they seem had a long way to go, before they can truly be free again.*
*Spyro's head perks up when he heard foots step behind him.*
Chronicler: ... Spyro! ... Do you have a moment...?
*Spyro turns and sees the Chronicler staring at him, waiting for his answer.*
Spyro: Yes... Yeah I do... *Spyro stands. Eon, Iggy, and Cynder stared at them, nervously as he slowly turned and walked across the bridge that lead towards the Chronicler's Library.*
*The Chronicler walks forward to his desk, where he had a small wooden bowl, and a bunch of books that was not labeled, and the ones that were was of a different language Spyro had not heard of, or seen before.*
Spyro: *Spyro looks around a few times before he looks at the Chronicler.* Yes sir...?
Chronicler: ... So you have manners too...
Spyro: ...
Chronicler: ... *The Chronicler turns with a smile.* Yes...?
Spyro: ... Yes... It was something Eon, and my friends taught me growing up...
*The Chronicler chuckles as he stirs grinds something that was in the wooden bowl, with a crystal.*
Chronicler: Ahahaa.. Oh, yes... The Skylanders... the ones from the new Era in the Skys...
Spyro: New... Era?
*The Chronicler spins his wrist.*
Chronicler: ... The Skylanders are from the New Era.. The one I am from.. is the Old Era... a History before your Ancestors... *The Chronicler stares into his bowl.* ... Time... You see...
Spyro: *Spyro looks to the right, and stares at some books, that was rotting away.* ... How old are you?
Chronicler: Much, Much, older then your old man... *Spyro paused, before the Chronicler nodded towards Spyro.* ... Ignitus... Not... your Master Eon...
Spyro: *Spyro turned back to the Chronicler.* ... You met my father... right?
Chronicler: Yes... Although, It wasn't for long... and he was in a hurry...
Spyro: I see...
*The Chronicler turned around and walked over to him.*
Chronicler: *The Chronicler waved the bowl in the air.* ... In order to heal your children. I will need a favor from you...
Spyro: ... *Spyro stared down the bowl for a moment, confused.* ... What kind of favor...
Chronicler: ... I am making a Tonic... one to cure your children's sickness...
Spyro: *Spyro's eyes looks at the Chronicler.* ... and the Favor...
*The Chronicler waves the bowl in a circle, engaging Spyro with it.*
Chronicler: ... Blood...
Spyro: *Spyro's eyes widen a bit.* ... My blood...?
Chronicler: *The Chronicler nods slowly.* ... More importantly, your Light...
Spyro: My... Light...
Chronicler: *The Chronicler looks down, trying to find the words to explain.* ... In all of us... We all have Light... and Dark... but as a Dragon... we choose which one we want to embrace... and which shade we choose... shades our heart... If we indulge our hearts with light... Our Hearts will become light...
Spyro: ...
*The Chronicler soon, pulls out a dagger from the side counter nearest to him.*
Chronicler: *The Chronicler pulled out the dagger and stares at it. Spyro saw that the handle of the dagger was actually a dragon made out of gold.* ... and... a Purple dragon... The one of Legend... Can Embrace Light... or Dark... and become one... with whatever the Legend what to become... If... Your blood has embraced the light, and casted out the dark...
*The Chronicler slowly puts the dagger into Spyro's paw.*
Chronicler: Only then... can I make you the Tonic...
*Spyro stares down at the Tonic, which was made of crushed green juice, made out of different herbs.*
Spyro: ...
Chronicler: ... Will you spill blood for your Children?
Spyro: ... *Spyro stood straight, and held out the dagger, having it held downward.* ... Every last drop...
*Spyro grabs it with his other paw, and glided it down, hard. Blood gushed onto the plants into the bowl.*
Chronicler: *The Chronicler pulled out a wooden pen case, and opened it. He sprinkled purple crystal powder into the bowl. It started to glow a white light all of a sudden.* ...
Spyro: *Spyro looks up at him confused.* ... A-And what was that!?
*The Chronicler shook the little tiny casing.*
Chronicler: Its powder from a very rare crystal... it reveals any Light and Dark Aura... *The Chronicler turns and puts it up in a small jewelry box. He slowly turns to Spyro.* ... Give that to your kids... and they will start to heal once it moves through their body... and they will slowly get stronger...
*The Chronicler's claw starts skimming through a book reading the rest.*
Chronicler: The Tonic will waste a lot of their energy... so as long as they keep eating healthy meat... they'll start to feel normal once again...
Spyro: *Spyro stared at the bowl for a while, forming a smile.* ... How can I ever repay you...?
Chronicler: ... *The Chronicler turned and walked up to Spyro. He had something in his hands. He grabbed Spyro's bleeding paw, and he lifted up. In his hand, he revealed he had saved him some gauze. He slowly starts wrapping the bandage around Spyro's paw.* ... Just take care of your kids...
[Over at the pond]
*Cynder was pouring the Tonic slowly in Iggy's throat.*
Cynder: Slowly... Slowly... eat it alllll up...
Spyro: ... *Spyro and Eon watched from a few feet away as Iggy started to spit it out.*
Iggy: Ew! I-It T-T-t-tastes like G-Grass!
Spyro: *Spyro smiles and turns to Eon, however his share towards Eon face.* ... Here, Eon... better drink up...
Eon: Eheheheh... *Eon turned to Lilly.* Yay! Grass!
*Lilly Giggles*
Eon/Lilly: Yay!
*Over across the pond, was Hunter. He was just sitting there, watching the family take their steps towards freedom. It was a very happy moment, and Hunter was glad they had at least saved them from the illness that came with their curse.*
*Bianca suddenly hops beside Hunters, claiming a spot very close to Hunter.*
Bianca: *Bianca had a radish in her hands and she takes a big bite.* What I miss?
Hunter: ... *Hunter shrugs with a deep smile.* ... Well, as you can tell... We've come a long way during this journey... Eon and Iggy is finally getting help...
Bianca: *Bianca smiles happily.* Yes... I am glad for them...
*Hunter nods a few times.*
Hunter: I'm glad... too... *Hunter then nervously shrugs, this time, it was a more serious and a more shy shrug.* ... I... I was thinking... maybe since we was able to you know... Help Eon and Iggy...
*Hunter turns to Bianca, causing her to stare at him. They stared at the moment.*
Hunter: Maybe we can also... Help get your life back to normal...
Bianca: *Bianca gripped her radish tighter.* ... But my life isn't as important as everyone else-
*Hunter leans in closer.*
Hunter: Says who...
*Bianca couldn't say anything. Hunter just had spell on her as she stared into his eyes. Hunter slowly leans back.*
Hunter: ... You should understand how important you are...
Bianca: *Bianca slowly hugs her knees.* ... I'm... I'm not so sure...
Hunter: *Hunter gets more comfortable as he sits up straighter.* ... You'll see... *Hunter places his paw against his own heart.* .
... I believe in you...
