Prince of Equestria Chapter 4: Unplanned trip to Equestria

Mario's POV (Present Day...on the rooftop of Sugarcube Corner)

I would be lying to myself if I said that I never went to Equestria until 2017.

That wasn't the first time I went there. I have gone a few times in my young life. One of which I now remember fondly….

December 16, 2011

It was four days after meeting and befriending Eliza during the whole incident. Me, Sugar Pop, Ner-Rac and Eliza all founded a group called "Square Z". Basically, it's our Justice League hero group, but with the power of friendship and much more heroic badassery.

Here's me; running around with my three friends at school, heading to Mrs. Rammings's classroom. The school principal, Principal Wayne, looked at us as he wasn't happy to see us, but we just kept going. We never cared about what both our principal and vice principal thought of us. As long as we followed their rules and stayed out of trouble, we would be fine.

We walked into the classroom and sat down at our desks. Sure enough, Mrs. Rammings was already there. She smiled at the three of us, and then patted my black.

"Thank you...for saving this school from that crazed madman, Lord Zarkiar. I still can't believe he subbed for me. You are the true heroes here." said Mrs. Rammings, still smiling at us.

"Uh...thank you." I blushed at her comment.

Mrs. Rammings has pink with gray highlights but wavy hair. She looked middle-aged, around her late 40s to early 50s. She is wearing a green t-shirt with a white blazer over it, gold pants and black flats.

See; here's the thing. Out of all the teachers I have had over the years, Mrs. Rammings has been my favorite. She is really attractive for someone who is middle aged, but she is nice, friendly, bubbly and is very cool as she is a fan of Led Zeppelin and The Beatles. She is informative too and is easy to get along with unless you piss her off by causing trouble.

There is an additional, special, magic reason why she was my favorite teacher, but I did not find that out till years and years later.

The bell had rung for lunch.

Everyone in Mrs. Rammings's classroom got out of the door. The young, 11-year-old Mario the Sonic Plush had walked out to the hallway with the other students.

Mrs. Rammings follows him behind. Then, while nobody was looking, Mrs. Rammings smirked. She unveils her true self.

She is the all-powerful, said to be godly, alicorn ruler from Equestria. One who raises the sun in that world. Princess Celestia.

Celestia/Rammings walks behind the young, destined prince and sends some magic which would teleport MTSP to Equestria.

Mario the Sonic Plush's POV

I am chatting with Eliza, Sugar Pop and Ner-Rac, discussing on what we should do after school.

"So what should we do after school?" I asked.

"I have no idea...I just want to stay as far away from my parents as possible, especially my mother." said Ner-Rac.

"Well, I'll say we should have the first official meeting of Square Z, located inside the treehouse in Mario's backyard." suggested Eliza.

"That's a great idea. It'll be sooo cool!" said Sugar Pop, fangirling like crazy.

"Yeah, that's amaz-" I said, before I got cut off. I am glowing in this magic, white light. It sounds like it's teleporting me somewhere. "OH NO!" I shrieked.

"Don't worry, I won't leave you!" said Sugar Pop, as she grabbed onto me right before I teleported.

(NO POV)

Both MTSP and Sugar Pop have gone.

"Good luck, my young student. This will be your biggest test." said Princess Celestia, as she walked off.

Celestia then turns back into Mrs. Rammings.

"MARIO! SUGAR POP! NOOOOOOO! We need to GET THEM BACK, NOW!" screamed Eliza. Eliza cries her eyes out, freaking out about where her two friends had gone.

Ner-Rac pats her shoulder.

"Don't worry, Liz. We'll find them. They can't possibly be gone forever" said Ner-Rac.

Eliza sighs.

"I hope you're right..." she said.

Mario the Sonic Plush's POV

I had arrived at a strange location. Sugar Pop had followed me over there.

I did not know where I was. My eyes just woke up, on the ground. I could barley even move.

"Ugh! Where am I?" I wondered.

"I wonder where we are." Sugar Pop wondered.

Suddenly, a white tall alicorn with a flowing mane, wings and a crown on her head appeared to me.

Sugar Pop noticed the alicorn.

"Hello," said Sugar Pop.

"I actually have known about you, Mario, since you were born. Anyways; I'm Princess Celestia. Right now, you are in Equestria. Welcome!" said Princess Celestia.

My mouth opens so wide. I was shocked.

"…Equestria?"

Sugar Pop was also shocked.

"Equestria?"

Celestia nods.

"Yes."

"Wow. This place looks beautiful! It's so much better than back home on Earth!" I exclaimed.

"Not going to lie. It is beautiful," said Sugar Pop.

Celestia then decided to give us a tour throughout Equestria.

She teleports me and Sugar Pop to the first location.

I sighed.

Me, Sugar Pop and Celestia then reach Canterlot.

"Holy crap!" I yelled out, as me and Sugar Pop's mouths have opened wide.

A whole entire castle is seen through our entire eyes.

"No fucking way!" yelled out Sugar Pop.

Celestia nods.

"What is this?" I asked.

"This is Canterlot. It's the capital of Equestria" Princess Celestia explained.

Suddenly, a new, constructing statue of ME was right beside the castle, in its concept stages waiting to be built.

"What's this? Is this a statue of me? Why?" I asked a bunch of questions to Celestia.

"I can't quite tell you why...not yet, but yes, this is a statue of you that is currently being built. In ten years, you will be playing an important role in all of Equestria, embracing who you truly are." Celestia explained.

Kid me got so confused.

Princess Celestia teleported us to many different places all over Equestria, until she teleported us over to Ponyville.

Me and Sugar Pop read a sign that says: "Welcome to Ponyville".

"Ponyville, eh?" I said

Princess Celestia nods.

"Mhmm."

"Wow. This looks much cleaner than back home" said Sugar Pop.

"I know right?" I said, agreeing with her.

I saw a pretty girl walk by. A little filly, a lavender purple unicorn with a blue & pink and dark purple stripes mane. She's reading a book, and she had a little baby dragon right by her. Her older brother, a blue maned, white stallion was right there with her as well. Her brother didn't look too bad but I was never attracted to him.

The girl interested me so much more.

I blushed at the girl.

She was cute, but she definitely became hot as she got much older.

Sugar Pop whispered in my ear.

"Mario, boy. Go talk to her. I know you have feelings for that girl." said Sugar Pop.

I break out into sweats, feeling all nervous as I approached her.

"H-hi." I said, as I stuttered.

The girl giggles.

"You're cute." she said.

"...Really?" I asked, surprised that she said that.

"Yes" she said, then she begun to introduce herself "Hello. My name is Twilight Sparkle. What's yours?" she asked.

"I'm Mario Rodriguz, but I hate my last name, so just call me 'Mario the Sonic Plush'. Nice to meet you" I said.

"Nice to meet you too. Hey, me, Spike and Shining are going to Sugarcube Corner. You can come with us," said Twilight.

I turned over to Sugar Pop and Princess Celestia, as I was about to ask them, but I didn't have to.

"Of course, you can come with them, my child. It'll be a great way to make another friend and spend time with someone" said Celestia.

"If you really like that girl so much, then why not join them." said Sugar Pop

I smile at both of them.

"Well, you can come with me, Sugar Pop," I said.

Sugar Pop gives a thumbs up, refusing to miss out on spending time with friends.

I turned back over to Twilight with a reply.

"Yes. Me and my friend Sugar Pop will come with you guys." I said

"Great." said Twilight.

Celestia stayed back as me, Sugar Pop, Twilight, her dragon, and her brother walked over to Sugarcube Corner.

We then arrived there.

I see an elderly woman at the counter. She resembles Pinkie Pie, but her mane/hair is gray and she has reading glasses on.

"Sugarcube corner, how may we help you?" the lady asked.

"Yeah, um, by any chance, do you serve pizza there?" I asked.

She was shocked.

"Pizza? PIZZA?! What the heck is pizza?!"

She was asking ME what pizza was.

"What? You don't know what Pizza is? Come on, lady. Pizza is one of the most famous foods ever, especially in America. The modern pizza we know of came from Italy. It's iconic and frankly, it's not only my favorite food, but the best food in the world." I said, explaining it to her.

"Well, um, I'm afraid we don't have that here" said the elderly pony lady.

"Ok. How about a sandwich? Hamburgers? French fries? Spaghetti?" I asked, naming all the Earthly foods off the top of my head.

She nods her head, no.

"Oh, it's a bakery, so all you have is sweets? That's a bummer. Ok, I will have a chocolate cake please." I said, as I ordered my chocolate cake.

Twilight ordered cupcakes for her and her brother to share, and the dragon basically has a supply of gems to eat. Sugar Pop just ordered strawberry ice cream.

We sat on down at a table to eat. We waited for the food to arrive.

Later, I find out that her older brother is named Shining Armor and the baby dragon is named Spike. We all talked and chatted.

Even when the food came, we still chatted about stuff. I stared at Twilight, and she stared back at me.

To be honest, I was glad that I went to Sugarcube Corner. That chocolate cake is delicious!

Once we were done eating, we then got back to where Princess Celestia was.

Princess Celestia has tears streaming down from her eyes.

"Hey, Princess. What's the matter?" I asked.

Princess Celestia turns over to me.

"I am so sorry. I am going to have to erase your memory of this." said Princess Celestia

I sob, with tears running from my eyes and in anger.

"WHY?! Why am I not allowed to remember this?!" I yelled

Twilight defends me.

"Yeah, this isn't fair, Celestia!" yelled Twilight

Sugar Pop chimes in and defends me as well.

"What do you think you are gaining from this?!" yelled Sugar Pop.

"Sorry Mario, but I have to do this. It's for your own good, and you aren't supposed to find this out till you are older...one day, you'll understand." said Princess Celestia.

I cry and run over to Twilight, hugging her while saying goodbye.

"Goodbye Twilight...thank you" I said.

"Goodbye Mario. I hope we meet again." she said.

Celestia then powered up her magic spell, heading towards me.

Suddenly, I glowed as Celestia's magic begins to absorb into my brain, erasing the memory of the trip.

"I'm sorry...Mario. I wish I was able to stop this." said Sugar Pop, patting me on my shoulder.

My memory was completely gone of this trip.

"Huh?! What the hell?! Where are we?! Why are there ponies and c-" I freaked out, but Celestia puts me to sleep.

Sugar Pop holds me in her arms. I feel a soft hug. Wrapped around my arms. A hug that can only come from an alicorn. Celestia teleported us back to the school, inside the cafeteria.

At a table, Eliza and Ner-Rac are sitting next to each other. Both are worried about their friends.

"So...do you think they are dead?" asked Ner-Rac, as he is chomping on a Veggie Sandwich from Subway.

"NO! Mario and Sugar Pop can't be DEAD! We'll just have to look for them, but I am sure they didn't die. Otherwise, we would have heard that by now." said Eliza, as she is eating her frozen, cold hot dog that her dad, Darkling, made her for lunch.

Mario the Sonic Plush's POV

Me, still asleep and Sugar Pop, have teleported right behind Eliza and Ner-Rac. Both were smiling, feeling so happy that we're back.

I woke up, the spell had completely worn off.

"Ugh. What a crazy dream. I dreamt that I arrived in a land called 'Equestria' with all these talking, colorful ponies and crap ruled by a Princess (who should be called Queen by now but whatever). We took a tour of the entire land. I even fell in love with a purple unicorn named Twilight Sparkle. This was one of the best dreams I have ever had in a long time!" I raved all about it to my friends.

"Mario...Sugar Pop.. you guys are back." Eliza said, with tears coming down her eyes.

Eliza runs up and hugs both me & Sugar Pop.

She hugged me like she hadn't seen me in a while.

"It's great to see you two again. We thought you were goners". said Ner-Rac

"Mario...you have NO IDEA how worried I was. And Sugar Pop, don't run off with him ever again!" yelled Eliza.

"It wasn't even our fault that we were teleported." said Sugar Pop.

I sat there, confused, thinking to myself.

"Huh? Teleported? What?!!" I thought. I was thinking Sugar Pop was joking. However, the expressions on my friends faces told me it was serious.

Mrs. Rammings was there, staring at me.

"You have no idea..." she muttered.

Mrs. Rammings walked off.

I never asked what that meant.
