Earth-616
As the Helicarrier floated above the skies of its home world, the heroes regrouped with their new allies and with the Batman Who Laughs and his Dark Knights in their custody.
The Darkest of the Knights was being lead through the carrier in Nth metal handcuffs around his arms, ankles, and around his neck just for all of their safety. And then there were the twenty guards leading him through the ship with orders to shoot to injure if he does anything they don't like.
Peter-616 stood outside the cell of the Batman Who Laughs as the twisted version of Bruce Wayne sat crossed legged in his cell.
This was a special type of cell that he had asked Madame Web herself to create. She said it was made out of Nth metal, which could hold even the most powerful beings in any universe.
"Well, would you look at that," Peter-616 says as he takes a few steps around the cell, "the biggest threat to the multiverse is sitting right in the hold of my ship. Doesn't seem so strong to me."
The Dark Knight laughed all so slightly, that it sounded more like a chuckle. "It's funny how short sighted you are." The Batman says to the Director.
"Says the one who declared war on the multiverse." Peter replies with a smirk. "Who thought none of them would want to fight back."
"Oh, not just the Multiverse," The Batman who laughs says, approaching the cell glass. "No, this reality is merely a steppingstone in my plan. When I'm done, I will be the most powerful being in the metaverse. Your world will fall and soon all of creation will bow before their own nightmares!"
"Yeah, the last guy who tried a plan similar to yours, he ended up killing himself with his own glider." Peter-616 informed the psychopath. "Now, trust me, I'd love to show you how it happened. But we need you to show us how to get to Battleworld so that we can rescue Madame Web and fix everything you've done to all of the realities. Otherwise, you'll stay here, and we'll make you cooperate. Then once that's over, we might hand you back to the Flash so he could finish what he started back on Earth-118."
"Comparing me to one of your most powerful enemies. I'm flattered." Batman snarls as he almost leaned against the glass. "You should fear me, I've burned hundreds of worlds."
"Fear me, I burned them all." Peter-616 replies with a stern, determined look as he's reminded about what happened during Crisis and Sarge.
"I'm the most powerful being in existence. Not even you or any of your heroes of the multiverse can break me."
Peter looks un-phased, hearing threats like this over fifteen years, they become just words to him.
"Well, let me know if the most powerful being in existence wants a magazine or something." Peter-616 says as he left to go back to the bridge and see if they could track the signature he's giving off from traveling the multiverse to Battleworld.
"That bat's nuttier than a Snicker's bar." Cisco-S says as he looked at the semi-interrogation through the security footage.
"I can't believe a psychopath like this can exist in any dimension." Peter-118 says before Ward joined them.
"Speak of the devil and one shall appear." Cisco-S says, "What are you doing here? Thought you'd be plotting away to join our laughing friend downstairs."
"Is that how little you think of me?" Ward asks, almost sounding hurt by the remark.
"Considering you're a HYDRA agent, yes." Cisco-S says with a smirky smile.
"Look," Ward says, trying to find the words to describe a bad feeling he's been getting, "something doesn't feel right about this guy."
"I hate to say this," Peter-616 says as he came on the bridge, "but Ward is right." At those words, he licks his tongue against his teeth in disgust at the words. "Great, now I have that taste in my mouth."
"What could he possibly be planning?" Quill asks.
"I just can't help but feel like he's one of the only people who actually wants to be here." Ward says.
"I know the feeling." Peter-616 agrees.
Eli and the other Warriors of the Multiverse sat in another room after they restored all of their memories.
"Sooo, I died." Emily tried breaking the ice after all of their memories have been restored to them.
"So did I." Garrett adds.
"It was very traumatic." Eli says as he remembers the feeling of it happening.
"May or may not have driven me to accidentally destroy the Multiverse." Chris says.
"What?!" Emily asks in shock of the news.
"He unleashed a being known as the Anti-Monitor." Kyle explains to her.
"Chris!" Emily yells in anger.
"I'm sorry, I was grieving!" Chris defended his actions.
"Look guys," Alice stops them from arguing, "What's done is done, it's in the past. We have to move on if we want to bring back everything we lost." Eli looked around at everyone.
"Just when I think I'm out they pull me back in." Eli says in a bad accent.
Everyone chuckled a little bit and for the first time in a long while.
The Warriors of the Multiverse were finally back.
CH 11 : THE SURPRISE INVASION
Elsa of Earth-118 was strolling the halls with Frost in amazement for what she's seeing. "This has been the strangest day of my life."
"Considering that my half-husband is dating a Disney queen in another reality, I have to agree." Frost tells her.
"Oh, I'm a Disney character in your reality?" Elsa-118 asks, surprised to hear that.
"I still can't believe you have Disney on your earth." Frost stated.
"My boyfriend won't stop comparing our bursting into singing to it." Elsa-118 chuckles.
"Looks like Spidey's the same in every reality." Frost guesses as they continue to stroll through the halls.
Heather was sitting in the common area, looking down at the only thing left, not only of her world, but of her daughter, her small stuffed plush Terrible Terror.
Kara walked in after just showing Hiccup-46 to their bedroom where they'll be staying and notices her sulking.
"I'm sorry we couldn't save your daughter." Kara tells her. "Wanna talk about it?" Heather doesn't even acknowledge her existence and kept staring down. "You know, I know what you're going through."
"You know how it feels to lose one of the two people closest to you while you stood there, powerless to stop it?" Heather asks.
"Well, I do have a daughter, and I almost lost my husband...more occasionally than I like to admit." Kara says as she takes a seat across from her. "But if we can find where he's hiding Madame Web, she can fix everything. We can bring her back!" She says, trying to lift her spirits.
"How can you be sure about that?" Heather asks as she faces the superhero. "How can you still have hope?"
"Because this team, we've faced the darkest of villains, but we always stand tall and fight back. We do whatever it takes." Kara tells her. "I have hope that we can save everyone."
"And what if we can't?" Heather asks as tears swell up in her eyes.
Kara reaches over and places a hand over hers. "Then we avenge her. And everyone else we lost."
"So, it's like can I swim now and Caity has to learn again, or is it like everything I learned I keep, and she keeps everything she learned?" Frost asks as she and Peter-1 were sitting in the cafeteria.
"Uh...I'm gonna take a stab and say it's just experiences." Peter-1 took a guess and took another slug from his drink. "But don't worry, we'll have you two back together again before this ship starts to sink like the Titanic."
"What makes you think that?" Frost asks.
"Come on, have you ever seen our luck?" Peter asks her. "This ship's going to be attacked sooner or later."
Just then, Caitlin came in with a smile on her face. "Okay, we have an idea to remerge us." She informed her husband and body double. "Stein and Cisco think that they can recreate the Firestorm matrix and use it on our genetics."
"Great. Then maybe I can stop trying to get drunk." Peter-1 stated as he looked down his bottle. "This is like my thirtieth bottle."
"Here." Mick walked over and handed him another one.
"Thanks." Peter says as he took it and chugged it down.
"What if I don't want to remerge?" Frost asked the two, confusing the two of them. "It's just...ever since we've been on this whole trip, it's probably been one of the longest times I've been in control. I mean, now I have control completely over my thoughts and mind. And I really like it. I mean, the whole mountain climbing, it was tiring, but I was in control. I didn't have to worry about someone else in my mind. I...I like this."
Caitlin and Peter look shocked towards one another as Frost isn't really one to talk about her feelings or even confess how she's feeling.
"Why didn't you say anything sooner?" Caitlin asks Frost.
Frost shrugged her shoulders and sorta looked like a kid being told off by their parents. A face they have seen plenty of with their troublemaking twins. "I just didn't want you to hate me for saying that."
"Frost, I would never hate you." Caitlin promised her. "You're my sister. And the kinda-sorta half mother to the twins. Not to mention their crazy aunt."
"And sorta-kinda half wife." Peter muttered as he chugged down his drink.
"Ignoring our idiot husband." Caitlin continued. "You can always tell us how you're feeling."
Frost looked to the two of them with a confused look. "How? I mean, I don't get how you guys are always open about your feelings. You guys talk as if emotions are a second language."
"Because we talk." Peter answered for Caitlin. "We understand each other. And we're willing to talk with you about anything."
"And maybe we can get this to work, the three of us." Caitlin said with a smile. "I mean, you can take the guest room and we can change it up just for you until we come up with something better."
"The twins might love that, but how about him?" Frost and looked towards Peter.
"You know what, let's do this like we've always done it." Peter told them. "Let's just make it up as we go along."
Caitlin chuckled at that and pecked his head. "That appears to be our strong suit."
"Fine by me." Frost agreed as she laid back in the chair. "And this just means that if you two decide to have another hell spawn, I don't need to be there to give birth to them."
Peter and Caitlin both laughed at that and knew she'd be relieved by that.
Courtney and Teresa were sitting in the med bay while Peter-2 was currently unconscious and resting after having the Cosmic Staff stabbed into his side.
"He's going to be okay, right?" Teresa asks.
"It's too soon to tell." Caitlin-S confessed. "But he seems to be healing perfectly fine. Just stay with him in case he wakes up." She said and leaved to check on the others.
"Thanks for being there for him." Teresa tells Courtney with a smile. "If it's any indication, Peter has a good choice in women."
"We're not...we're not like that." Courtney promised.
"Why not?" Teresa asks. "I mean, I'm not saying jump into anything, but it wouldn't hurt to give it a try, would it?"
Courtney sighed and looked to Peter. "He's a sweet guy, but I don't think I'm ready for something like that."
Teresa sees that as an actual good reason and laid back down and waited for her brother to wake up.
Peter-38 was in the downstairs lab running a scan on the Cosmic Staff from Earth-W2 and came to the conclusion.
"Yep, it's definitely a relic." Peter-38 confirmed.
"How could we have not discovered that?" Stein questions.
"The scanners were searching for relics within the realities we were in, so it wasn't searching for other relics." Peter-38 answers as he then tries to see if they could find a connection between it and the other relics to locate the relics on Battleworld whist Barry-S, and the Dragon King Hiccup and Dragon Queen Elsa were watching.
"This is all fascinating." Hiccup says as he looked around at all the amazing technology S.H.I.E.L.D. has to offer.
"I only wish we were all meeting under different circumstances." Barry says with a small chuckle and kept watching the monitor on the Batman Who Laughs as Peter-38 sets down the scanner and notices how gloomy Barry-S had been ever since they caught the man.
"Hiccup, Elsa, Stein," Peter-38 calls out, seeing he should talk to him alone, "could you give us a minute?"
"Yeah, sure." Hiccup says as he and Elsa walk out of the room followed by Stein as Peter-38 cleared his throat, trying to get his attention.
"Barry, I know grief when I see it, and you've been acting off ever since the Ice castle fight. What happened to your girl during the incursion?" Peter-38 asks him.
Barry sighed for a moment, and then looks towards the Iron-Spider. "He killed her. The freak punched a hole through her chest, and she died in my arms!" He states as he slams his fist against the table and breaks into tears. "I wasn't fast enough to save her."
Peter-38 walked over to Barry and places a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"I know what it's like to lose someone. The first person I ever fell in love with and was about to marry was killed by a being from another dimension, too." Peter-38 says. "Then, to be fair, she kinda did come back. Just with no memories."
Barry just looks at him, completely confused after hearing that.
"Trust me, it's a very long story." Peter-38 says, meaning to just move on.
"I just don't know what I'm supposed to do now." Barry says as he wipes the tears from his eyes.
"You'll do what the rest of us do," Peter-38 says to him, "what we always do."
"What's that?" Barry asks, not understanding.
"We avenge." Peter-38 answers.
"Director, you're gonna want to see this." An agent shouts as they approach Peter-616, who was explaining the whole situation to Peter-118.
"What is it?" Peter-616 asks.
"Earth Prime is gone, sir." The agent replies, causing everyone leap to their feet.
"What?" Caitlin-W asks as she began to cry for her children and Peter-1 instantly wrapped his arms around Caitlin as Kara just stood in shock.
"Did it leave behind any foreign energy signatures?" Eli asks as he and the others enter the room, he's rung the shocking news.
"Not that we can tell," Ava says, looking over the data. "Is there anything in particular that you're looking for?"
"Antimatter." Eli answered, "it's the only thing that we know of that has been able to wipe entire worlds from existence."
"No sign of antimatter. But something is coming right at us." Peter-616 squints at the monitor, "and it's coming fast. Brace yourselves!"
Suddenly, there's a massive flash of light and big blue police box suddenly appears out of nowhere as it crashes through the main window and into the bridge with an awful scraping noise.
The smoking police box finally landed in the corner after sliding around the room and landed on its side, followed by several S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to run up and aim all their guns at the doors.
Then out came a hook and on the other end of the rope appeared a tall thin man wearing a brown blazer, red bowtie, and a fez and was soaking wet.
The team didn't recognize him, but Warriors instantly recognized him as an old friend of theirs.
"Doctor?" Emily asks.
"Uh-huh, that's me. Emily!?" The Doctor asks before noticing that his old friends were alive, "Guys!" He cheered as he ran over to his old friends and they embraced in group hug for a moment before the Doctor remembered what he was doing.
"Stand down, men. I think he's on our side." Peter-616 tells his men as they do what he says.
"You guys know this guy?" Crystal asks as she moves her orange hair out of her face as she gets out of her spot she hid in to avoid getting hit by the box.
"This is the Doctor. A Time Lord from our universe." Emily explains. "He travels through time and space in his TARDIS." She gestures to the Phone Box.
"Better than a Time Master." Ray guesses.
"But why is he soaking wet?" Daisy-2 asks.
"I landed in the library." Doctor tells her.
"And how did you get wet?" Clint asks.
"I was in the swimming pool." Doctor explains.
"You just said you were in the library." Rick reminds him.
"Yes, so was the swimming pool." Doctor explains to him, before he finally smacked himself for getting off topic. "Oh, no, wait, sorry. I have very bad news you need to know."
"If it's the fact that the Multiverse is ending, you kind of missed the boat." Wanda told him. "Literally."
"No, no, no, it's not that." The Doctor says, "After my universe and Earth-W2 crashed into each other, my TARDIS was flung into the Dark Multiverse, I've seen what's coming and I ran."
"Isn't running kind of his thing?" Noah asks as he pointed at the Flash, causing Emily to turn and give him a dirty look. "Sorry, I joke in bad situations."
"Same here," Eli says before looking at Noah, "You beat me by one second."
"The worst part is...I was followed." Doctor says just as all of the Spider-Men's senses went off, followed by another flash of light and a massive bat-like battle station appeared in front of the Helicarrier.
"What is that?" Quill asks.
"More of the Batman Who Laughs' lackeys." The Iron-Specter says, once again, scarring some of the room.
"I thought I asked you to stop that!" Peter-38 stated when the alarms of the ship start blazing.
The jaws of the battle station opened up and gargoyle-like creatures flew out toward the ship as the battle station fired cover shots with some type of energy canon. It tore apart one of the turbines and disabled another.
"Sir, they're attacking the turbines!" An agent reported. "Number three engine has taken the most critical damage. It's mostly intact, but we can't get out there to make repairs while in the air."
"If we lose one more engine, we'll crash into Washington." Ava added, feeling if that happened, they'd have some Deja vu.
"Somebody needs to get on fixing those turbines!" Peter-616 shouts as he races around to keep everything under control.
"I'm on it." Peter-38 says as he makes his way out and passes the Dragon Royals. "You, Dragon King, with me!" With that, the two make their way out through the halls to the top of the ship.
"John, Spectre, Emily, Garrett, Joey, I need you to go down and make sure the Batman Who Laughs doesn't get out. I figure your magic may be more effective against him!" Peter-616 ordered to the magical beings in the room.
The group complied and ran down the hall towards his cell.
"Brainy, Cisco, Time Doctor guy, Eli." Ava shouts to the smartest men in the room, "the reactor is taking heavy damage. We need to make sure that thing stays stable. If that thing blows, we could all be sent throughout the multiverse."
"Sir, the ship is on fire, stopping us from getting to the main firewall." An agent reports.
"The firewalls are on fire?" Scott asks in a joking tone.
"I'm on it." Bobbie promises as he 'Ices' up and goes to take care of the fire
"Elsa, you mind?" Peter-118 asked his girlfriend who quickly followed after the kid to control the fires.
"The rest of us, make sure that these guys don't take down our ship!" Peter-616 shouts to them all.
The Cosmic Staff could tell something was happening and quickly flew through the halls and met up with Courtney and Teresa, who were both still with Peter-2.
"What? Something happening?" Courtney asks as the Staff places itself in her hands and they hear alarms constantly blaring and people running around. "Looks like they need us." She says and looks to Peter-2, who she doesn't want to leave him by himself, defenseless.
"I'll stay with my brother, go help them." Teresa tells her and Courtney knows he's safe with her watching over him and races off to find the trouble.
As the hordes of bat creatures attacked the ship, the heroes leaped into action as fast as they could. Captain Marvel and Supergirl flew around and made sure that none of the bigger gargoyles didn't reach the ship.
Wanda was throwing blasts of energy towards the approaching ships and shielding the carrier while Daisy had her back and kept her safe.
Hiccup-46 and Elsa-174 flew on their dragons with Toothless-174 flying around the ship to keep the creatures from destroying the ship and stopping the missiles from reaching them whilst Noah took out the Stragglers with the Earth-65 Legends.
Reed and Clint fought back to back as they took down creatures in the bridge whilst Peter-616 and Ava barked orders and fought enemies off to keep the ship in the air.
Medusa and Crystal fought the enemies off as if they were nothing with Wanda blasting them down from landing on the sip. Chavez looked and saw a missile heading towards them, so thinking fast she picked up a Quinjet and spun it around to knock down a few of the robins and then sends it flying up and it hits the missile.
"That was awesome!" Riri shouts as she flew past and gave her friend a fist bump before sending missiles out to destroy the other ships coming down on them.
Peter-118 fought on the top deck as Crystal Frost and Elsa-174 slid around on Ice structures and blasted enemies out of the sky.
Barry, Kyle, and Pietro ran back and forth, trying to fight as many creatures as they could.
Soon, landing ships began to come down on deck and soldiers began to pour out on the deck.
Lane tried to intercept them while piloting the Waverider and using the ships on board weapon systems.
"Wooooh!" Lane shouts, having the time of his life. "I have missed this!"
"Bring the carrier about to 1-8-0, heading south!" Peter-616 shouts to the navigator. "Get this ship over the water, we don't want another Washington Incident."
"We're flying blind." The Agent reports. "Navigational controls are still recalibrating after the engine failure."
"Is the sun setting?" Peter asks, feeling he might be paying these guys too much.
"Yes, sir."
"Then put it on the right." Peter-616 tells him as he gets to work on getting them there. "If they take out another one of our turbines, we'll drop, and they'll all be stuck here."
Riri and Wanda tried their best to keep up with all of the ships but was shot down by a missile and sends them both flying into the carrier.
Jessica did all that she could to shield them from the explosions coming down while using her powers to create a forcefield around the ship.
However, one ship landed on the deck and out stepped the Bat of Mischief, Hellfire and another Batman who donned a strange blue helmet and a massive sword.
Bruce, Robbie, and Alice faced them down in shock and fear of what to do.
"So, who's going first?" Alice asks before Robbie walked over and snapped a chain from a Quinjet and let the Rider take control as he charge at Hellfire.
"I guess he is." Bruce says as he and Alice charged at the other two Batmen.
Alice charged up an energy blast as the new Batman swung his sword at her, but Alice quickly used the energy she charged to block the swing from attacking her.
"So, you seem new." Alice says, never seeing this guy through their journeys. "What's your name?"
"I am Merciless." The new Batman says. "For I give no mercy."
"Then that means I won't have to either!" Alice says as she fired an energy blast at Merciless, which sent him flying and landing on his back as Alice comes back in and leaps on his chest before punching his face in.
"Like the spear." Bruce says to the Bat of Mischief.
"I pulled this from the corpse of the God of Mischief." The Bat of Mischief says as he flung an agent away.
"I can't wait to return the favor!" Bruce says as he and the Bat of Mischief race at one another.
Bruce pulled out a few Batarangs and throws them his way, only for the Bat of Mischief to either blast or dodge them all.
The Doctor, Cisco, Eli, and Brainiac-5 ran into the reactor room and saw the monitors surrounding it where all flashing in warning as in the center of the room was a container containing the biggest terrigenesis crystal they've ever seen.
"What's the problem?" Cisco asks as they race to the monitors for answers.
"I'm not sure," Brainy says, communicating with the systems. "My technology isn't giving me a diagnosis back. It would seem that the terrigen reactor is causing some type of interference, but the system is afraid." He says before turning to the monitors. "No, it's not your fault."
"He's lost it. Anyone have any other ideas?" Cisco asks the rest of the room.
"Here, let me try something." The Doctor says before he whipped out his sonic screwdriver and tried to use it to get a scan on the reactor.
Unfortunately, it just raised a shield around the group.
"Well, that can't be right." Eli replies as they try to find a way out.
The magic users entered the prison hull and the Batman Who Laughs was cackling maniacally.
"Is this all he does?" Emily asks.
"It is in his name." Garrett reminds her.
"Focus. We can't let this monster escape." John tells them.
"I'm not the only monster on board this ship." The Batman who Laughs says before he stretched his hand and yellow energy glowed around the Iron-Specter before Tony Stark and the Specter split into two in a small flash of yellow.
"Freeeedom! Vengeance!" The Specter shouts cheerfully before flying around the room and busting a hole in the Batman Who Laughs' cell and then bursting a hole in the ceiling and flying away.
"Weren't we supposed to stop something like that?" Joey asks them as he tried to cast a Crimson Bands of Cyttorak on the Specter as the energy ropes came from his hand and wrapped around the Specter, but rather than stopping the Specter, it just pulled Joey towards him.
The Batman Who Laughs then suddenly warped away before the other heroes could do anything to stop him.
"I have to get back to the Specter." Tony says as he struggled to stand on his own.
"Everyone, hold on." Emily warns them as she wrapped her arms around everyone and used a teleportation spell to get the team on the top deck.
Elsewhere, Grant Ward was searching the armory for the biggest gun he could find before he heard commotion coming from the reactor room.
He grabbed a familiar weapon that he had seen Coulson use once before making his way to the reactor room.
"We're losing power!" Eli says as he messes with the controls for the reactor.
"We need to get those Turbines moving otherwise it won't let us out!" Cisco shouts. "Otherwise we're not getting those repulsers back online anytime soon."
"We're on it!" Peter-38 says.
King Hiccup made it to Engine-3 and sees the door is stuck and there are some people on the other side.
"Hang on! Back up!" Hiccup warns them and then summons the strength of a Rumblehorn and punches the door clear off its hinges.
"Thanks." One Agent says as he helps a friend carry a third injured agent out of the room.
"Peter! I'm here!" Hiccup calls out as the Iron-Spider made his way over and lands on the side of the debris, using his metallic arms to keep him in place.
"Okay, let's see what we're dealing with." Peter-38 says as he does a scan of the turbine. "We got to get the superconducting coolant system back online, otherwise the system will overheat and burn the ship down before I can get to the turbine to work on dislodging the debris to activate them."
He then quickly began to work on some nearby easily fixable damage and then looks towards Hiccup, who is fighting off the Robins with his Snow Wraith breath to not burn down the ship.
"Dragon Tales, I need you to get to that engine control panel and find out which relays are in overload position when you have a minute." Peter-38 tells him as Hiccup quickly saw where he was aiming and leaped using Speed Stinger powers and made it over.
Peter-38 began to go deeper into the turbine to fix it. Hiccup grabs the handle of the small door and opens up and sees hundreds of flashing lights and wires, and he has no idea what any of them mean.
"What do you see?" Peter-38 asks.
"Well, it seems to run on some form of electricity." Hiccup guesses, no idea what he's looking at.
"You're not wrong." Peter-38 says as he kept fixing the inside of the engine.
Peter-616 and Ava we're finally getting everything under control and sees there's still some damage around the carrier.
"We need an evacuation on the lower hanger bay." Peter-616 says to Ava who began to walk out when she looked and saw a grenade rolling up to her.
"Grenade!" Ava shouts as she flips over the railing and activates her suit to cushion her fall just as it explodes.
Robins suddenly begin to enter but are suddenly stopped as one gets its head smacked in by a familiar double bladed axe as Heather comes into view and spins around before dropping and tripping the second robin up and then slamming her axe into his chest as a third comes up and Peter-616 blasts him into the wall.
"Thanks." Heather says while panting from exhaustion.
"Don't mention it." Peter-616 says.
In the medical wing, Teresa was shooting all of the Robins who came in for her and her brother.
Just as she runs out of bullets, Peter-2 suddenly wakes up and sent a taser web net out to shock all of the robins at once.
"What the hell happened here?" Peter-2 asked Teresa.
Back outside the carrier, Courtney and Yolanda were fighting back to back when a Robin tackles her to the down.
"Yolanda!" Courtney screams and tries to fight them off alone when she saw someone leaping and kicking them and saw something sticking to them and then tasering them before leaping in to reveal Peter-2.
"So, I take a five minute nap and suddenly everything comes apart?" Peter-2 asks as Yolanda gets up and runs to help Rick.
"Peter...you're okay?" Courtney asks in shock.
"What, you thought getting stabbed and bleeding to death was going to keep me down?" Peter-2 asks as he removes his mask and reveals he's perfectly okay.
Courtney chuckles at his humor before approaching him closer and ends up kissing him.
Peter-2 was taken aback a bit but kissed her back and didn't break as a Robin came to tackle them, only to be stopped by a fist which flew up and smacked the demon away.
The arm belonged to the one and only Mr. Fantastic as he and Clint found the two, followed by Teresa, who all looked to the two in shock.
"Can anyone hear me? We need help securing the relics!" The two of them heard one of the hundreds of heroes call out, causing them to separate and with both of them speechless, Courtney runs off to help, leaving Peter-2 who looked over to his family.
They didn't say anything and just all smiled and bobbed their heads in a yes position with their gigantic grins. Peter-2 just scoffs at his family and goes back to protecting everyone.
"The relays are intact." Hiccup reports as he closes the wall. "What's our next move?"
"I'm working on it." Peter-38 keeps going through the engine as he blasted some debris off the turbine wing. "Director Parker?"
"I'm here!" Peter-616 answers as he throws a Robin through the gaping hole in the bridge and off the Helicarrier.
"Do we still have power to those turbines?" Peter-38 asks.
"Yes, they run on backup power generators." Peter-616 replies as he keeps fighting with Heather and Ava. "But that damaged one is going to need a jumpstart to get it going."
"I can do it." Kara says and goes to fly and help just as she is tackled by a massive creature, she rolls across the deck and looks up to see the Batman that has mutated into Doomsday from Sanctuary's Edge is back. "Guys, we've got a problem!"
"I see it." Carol says as she dives at the creature before getting slapped away by its giant hand. "I think we should have kept an eye on the detention center."
Kara shoots her laser vision at the creature and sees that it's not doing much.
"You guys are going to have to fix the turbines while me and Marvel take care of this thing!" Kara says as she goes to punch it, only for it to grab her by the neck.
"Oy vey. Looks like I'm going to have to go in and push." Peter-38 says, hating the idea.
"But if that thing starts up with you inside, you'll get shredded." Hiccup tells him.
Peter then thinks before scanning the entire carrier and getting an idea. "That stator control unit can reverse the polarity long enough for me-"
"Can you please speak in words I'll understand?" Hiccup cuts him off, causing Peter-38 to sigh in exhaustion as he forgets this guy's time period hasn't even perfected electricity yet.
"You see a red lever over there?" Peter-38 asks.
Hiccup looks around before looking back where he came from and sees it right near the destroyed part of the wall.
"Yeah, I've got eyes on it." Hiccup answers.
"When I give you the word I want you to pull it, that will slow the turbines down long enough for me to get out alive." Peter-38 explains to him the plan. "Stand by it and wait for my word."
"Got it." Hiccup says as he leaps back over, and grabs hold of the lever.
Peter-38 then heads down and begins to empty the broken turbines out of the way.
Just as Hiccup gets to the lever, more Robins come in and start attacking him and starts to use his powers to keep them back.
Carol flies up and kicks Devastator in the knee, causing him to drop to his knees and punches him in the face several times and flies up away from his reach and keeps punching him.
Kara comes in flying at full speed as Merciless just as he caught Carol off guard and grabs her hand and spins her around to smack Kara and send her flying across the ship.
Carol is put into a chokehold as Merciless slams her against the carrier near one of the propellers and then begins to lean her in closer towards it.
"No...NO!" Carol cries as she tries to fight off as long as she could to get herself free and not destroy the propeller.
Suddenly, Peter-118 comes flying in and webs Merciless to try and save her only for Merciless to grab him and raises them both up.
"Two in one go. My lucky day!" Devastator says just as Firestorm comes flying in and blasts the monster, dropping the two of them.
"Thanks." Carol says to the two of them.
"Just looking out for the team." Firestorm says and blasts off into the air.
Peter-1, Lance, and Courtney stood on defense in the lab to protect the last of the relics.
"Whatever comes through that door," Peter-1 says, "we take it down."
"I thought that was a given." Lance says as he aims an assault rifle at the door.
"Just wanted to make sure we were on the same page." Peter-1 says before the door flies off its hinges and just barely misses the two.
The Batman who Laughs steps forward with his psychotic grin and gives a quick look at the Cosmic Staff. "I'll be taking that."
"You want to take it?" Lance says, aiming the rifle at him. "You go through us."
"I killed the destroyer of worlds and severed the hand of God's wrath." The Batman Who Laughs replies. "Do you really think that bullets can stop me?"
Lance cocks the gun, and the barrel of the gun glows a bright blue. "Who said anything about bullets?"
"I would say that I won't enjoy this," The Batman Who Laughs says, "Oh who am I kidding I'm going to love this!"
Lance fires his weapon and Peter-1 kicks the Batman Who Laughs in the face. The Batman responds by stretching out his hand and stopping one of Lance's bullets with his mind before flinging it through Peter-1's leg.
Lance keeps firing but the Batman Who Laughs...laughs as he just throws Peter-1 at him. Courtney goes to slam the staff on the Batman Who Laughs head but the Batman Who Laughs blocks it before it hits his head.
The Batman Who Laughs kicked Courtney in the face, causing her to let go of the staff and fall on her back. The Batman grabs the Cosmic Staff and somehow was able to fire the staff at the ceiling, causing debris to fall on top of Peter-1 and Lance.
"Bat of Mischief," The Batman who Laughs says into a small device, "have you retrieved the final relic?"
"I would but we are a bit busy at the moment." The Bat of Mischief replies.
"I made plans for that, wait five seconds." The Batman Who Laughs says.
Back on the top deck, the bat of Mischief, Hellfire, and Merciless were still battling Alice, Bruce, and Ghost Rider.
"Surrender!" Alice shouts.
"Never!" Merciless shouts back.
"Fine then." Bruce says as he gets ready to charge at them before a massive explosion of green energy bursts out from underneath them as a free and unhinged Spectre flies into the air with Joey getting dragged behind him.
The heroes were distracted by the sight and the Bat of Mischief jumped down the hole and into the ship.
Emily and the other's teleported on the deck and saw the Spectre flying away.
"What do we do?" Emily asks.
"I've got an idea." Chris says as he floats down and blasts a gargoyle with a laser from one of his hands.
"Since when can you fly?" Emily asks.
"Since I destroyed the Multiverse." Chris says as he grabs Tony and flies toward the Spectre.
As the green demon flies away Chris flies as fast as he could as he holds Tony by his shirt collar.
"Are you sure that this will work?" Tony asks.
"Nope." Chris says as he threw Tony right into the center of the Spectre.
There was a bright flash of green light as the energy of the Spectre danced around before entering into Tony, restoring him to former state. The bands on Joey broke and he fell from the sky as Chris flew down and brought him back on deck to continue the fight.
Back in the reactor, Eli was working on lowering the shields while Brainy and the Doctor worked on a solution.
"Have you guys got any solution?" Eli asks as he is rapidly pressing buttons.
"No!" The Doctor shouted.
"It seems that something is causing a major interference." Brainy says.
"My, my, my, whatever could it be." The Bat of Mischief says as he enters the room holding Loki's scepter, "I'll be taking the terrigen now."
"Oh, no, you're not!" Eli said as he double tapped his glasses, and his Iron Man suit came out and blasted a repulser beam, but the beam is neutralized by the shield.
"Pretty clever, wasn't it?" the Bat of Mischief says as he gestures to his scepter, "used the mind stone to tamper with the terrigen and give it its own consciousness." Suddenly there is the sound of a weapon charging up and Grant Ward enters the room wielding the weapon Coulson used before the Battle of New York.
"Stop right there." Ward said as he aimed the Destroyer at the Bat of Mischief, "Unless you want to wind up with a three inch hole square in your chest. Like that kid you murdered."
"Really?" The Bat of Mischief said, "this the best you could throw at me? You think we feel remorse for what we do?"
"Let's just say it was the type of thing that broke me. Even I would never stoop as so low to threaten a child. Let alone kill one." Ward stated sternly.
"It's a shame. You've made a great Dark Knight if it weren't for that." Mischief scoffed.
"My old boss used this during the Battle of New York," Ward said as he warmed up the Destroyer 3 prototype, "I never saw what it does."
"And you never will." The Bat of Mischief replied.
"I'm not liking where this is going." Eli said as he used the suit's laser beam to try and burn through the shields.
"Time to find out." Ward said as he put his finger on the trigger, but before he could pull it, a second Bat of Mischief plunged the spear through his chest from behind.
Ward gasped before stumbling backward and collapsing against the wall. As he kept gasping for air, Ward then pulls out a pistol and shoots the Bat of Mischief in the leg several times.
"Did you really expect to accomplish anyone with that?" Mischief asks as he marched over and stabbed Ward in the shoulder.
"Ward!" Cisco shouts as he runs up to the edge of the shield.
The first Bat of Mischief faded away as the real Bat of Mischief strolled up to the terrigen and pulled a fraction of the crystal out of the reactor. Suddenly the power goes out, the shields go down, and the turbines stop spinning. The Bat of Mischief looks at Ward.
The Bat of Mischief opened a blue portal as he turned to the other's, "goodbye."
The bat then walked through the portal and disappears.
Peter-38 flies over to the turbine and starts pushing against it and slowly it begins to move before gaining more speed as Hiccup defends the lever till Peter-38 is ready.
Another Robin comes up from behind and jumps at Hiccup and sends him falling off the ledge of the Helicarrier as the turbine finally gains enough speed to move on its own and begins to move faster than Peter-38 can fly.
"All right, Hiccup, pull the lever." Peter-38 says but the turbine doesn't slow down. "Umm, Hiccup?"
Peter-38 sees Hiccup falling before getting caught up in the turbine and getting flung around in the rotator before Scott grows and grabs the lever before pulling it for Peter-38 to get spit out the bottom.
As Hiccup falls, he cries out for help before his loyal Night Fury comes flying toward him and Hiccup manages to land on his back and fly back up to the carrier.
"Nice save, bud." Hiccup says to his dragon.
"Well, didn't wanna go home and tell them our king died from a crazy child with sharp teeth." Toothless says to him.
"Ha, ha." Hiccup chuckles as they fly around, and Scott ran in to see what's happening and pulled the leaver, causing the propeller to slow down before he went around fighting more of them off.
Peter-38 fell from underneath the carrier and webbed himself back up to help the others.
Across the carrier, the enemy quickly made their retreat, as they went back to their ships. Merciless, Devastator, Hellfire, and the rest of the army of the Batman Who Laughs quickly boarded their transports and flew away as fast as they could.
Everyone watched just as Black Bolt made his way up and saw them trying to escape. He closes his eyes and Reed, and Clint knew where this was going.
"Get down!" Clint yells to everyone who ducks and cover their ears.
"STOP!" Black Bolt's voice came out like a sonic boom and shatters the glass surrounding him before the sonic waves reach the ships and causes them to suddenly explode mid-flight, including Hellfire who was in the middle of the explosion, but he was able to escape it at the last second. Everyone looks in shock as to what they just witnessed.
"Remind me to never tick him off." Riri tells Jessica who agrees.
When the remaining soldiers returned back to their battle stations, the ship quickly jumped away leaving a temporary crack in the universe that closed up quickly.
"We need to get those turbines moving! Now!" Peter-616 shouts.
"I've got an idea." The Dragon King says as he flies around the ship, "Where's the reactor powered from?"
"Deck seven." Ava says.
"I'm on it." Hiccup says as he flies Toothless as Jane followed. "Come on, Bud, give me one big lightning blast!"
"You've got it!" Toothless replied as he fired his plasma blast at the reactor core as well as Jane using the hammer, causing for the power all across the ship to return just in time to stop the Helicarrier from crashing into the ground. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
"Guys, did we do it?" Lane asked from on the Waverider.
As the heroes regrouped back on the Helicarrier and the glass in the main windows for the bridge was quickly replaced, due to the fact the whole bridge being made out of nanotechnology, just as alarms started flashing all over the ship.
"Guys." Daisy-2 cried as she looks at the monitors, "We've got an incursion!"
"Where?" Pat asks.
"Here." Daisy-2 answered.
"We need to jump to the next Earth as quickly as possible!" the Doctor shouts as they can see another Earth appear in the sky, this time it is flying right at Earth-W616 at breakneck speeds.
"Where do you want us to go?" An agent asked, having nowhere left for them to go.
"I don't care, any Earth as long as it isn't here!" the Doctor shouts.
"No! We have to at least try and save some people!" Peter-616 shouts.
"There isn't time!" The Doctor replies.
"I don't know who you think you are, but I am the leader of this ship, and we are not leaving our friends!" Peter-616 shouts back.
"You don't know who you're talking to, I'm the Doctor. I'm a Time Lord. I'm from the planet Gallifrey in the Constellation of Kasterborous. I'm over a thousand years old and I'm the man that is trying to save you and everyone on this ship!" The Doctor says as he pulls out his sonic screwdriver and uses it on one of the computers, causing the ship to suddenly go subatomic.
Back in Washington, the Next Avengers look like their entire world is dissolved and vanished followed by them.
The entire world is gone.
The entire multiverse is gone.
The whole WhatIfUniverse is gone...
Back in the reactor room on the carrier, Caitlin-W was trying to treat Ward's injuries as Cisco watched from afar as Barry ran into the room and saw Ward's condition.
"Ward, are you okay?" Barry asked as he kneels down next to him.
"Never better." Ward said before coughing up blood. "That's probably not a good sign."
"You need to stay still." Caitlin-W said as she put another rag on his wound when Ward grabbed her hand.
"Your husband needs your help," Ward said, "go save your hero."
Caitlin-W stood up and left the room to go help her husband and anyone else as she knows there's nothing she can do.
"Ward, what were you thinking?" Cisco asked as he came closer. "Since when do you put others first?"
"Consider it a new leaf." Ward said as he began to grow weaker, "I guess I was right...Me and Coulson are two sides of the same coin. It's funny isn't it?" Ward turned to Cisco and Barry who looked sorry for him. "Guys, I'm so sorry."
Barry and Cisco stayed silent, no idea what to say now.
"It's okay, I don't expect forgiveness, just tell the other's what I did. Tell them..." Ward didn't finish his sentence before passing into the great beyond.
"Ward's down, guys." Barry said into their comms. "I repeat, Ward is down..."
The entire ship freezes in shock on hearing that and have no idea what they're going to do now.
"Medical's on its way." An Agent reported in.
"There's one here." Caitlin replied.
The carrier is on the brink of destruction, its heroes are on their final breath, and they have no way of getting any of them back.
Battleworld
The situation has only gotten worse. The planet is nearly completed.
Barry has taken it upon himself to get everyone together: the highest of authority from all the realities, whether they be heroes, people of authority, just about anyone with power.
Dragon Riders, supers, guardians, heroes, just about everyone and anyone to come up with a plan of attack.
They were all together, inside of a restaurant in New York...possibly New York, could also be some alternative reality. It's kinda hard to tell where everything is and isn't where anyone belongs. The realities are starting to merge so much they won't be able to become undone at this rate.
"Before we start discussing the fate of the world, should we go around with introductions?" Barry asks as he stood at the head of the table while they had drinks and food all laid out. "Just in case some of us have been living in an alternative reality?"
The table of heroes and warriors all go silent at that comment.
"Fine, I'll start." Barry guesses. "I'm Barry Allen, also known as the Flash of Earth-Prime. Current leader of team Spider-Flash."
Suddenly, a dish is thrown across the room and they all dodge it and see it came from Solovar, who's here on behalf of Gorilla City.
"No bananas!" They all hear him scream in their heads.
"Welcome, Solovar. Leader of the Gorilla hoard." Barry introduces/greets the psychic gorilla.
Solovar doesn't respond and just starts eating a watermelon in anger.
"Okay...and welcome Michelle Jones of S.H.I.E.L.D." Barry gestured to MJ of Earth-616 who is speaking on behalf of her Avengers friends.
"This world has already slaughtered many of our allies and others have yet to be discovered on this planet, but we are ready to help any way we can." MJ assures him.
"Get to the reason we're all here." Astrid demands as she slammed her axe on the table.
"She's gonna be a fun ally." Ralph could tell.
"Welcome Astrid of the Berserker Tribe." Barry gestures to Astrid from Earth-46.
"Guys, we need to find a way to work together if we want a chance to be able to win." Queen Anna of Earth-174 states.
"And welcome, Queen Anna Oldenburg of Arendelle." Barry introduces her to the others when they hear claws and look to see Wolverine of Earth-118. "Welcome, Logan. Main leader of the survivors of Earth-118."
"The fastest man alive is a man in a red latex suit." Logan scoffs at the Flash. "My Adamantium claws can cut through your lies."
Suddenly, Vibranium claws are raised and reveal to belong to those of the Black Panther. Queen Shuri. "Let him speak. The Black Panther's will keep their claws retreated...for now."
"Welcome Queen Shuri of Wakanda." Barry greets and introduces the queen.
"We need to come up with a plan, or we can kiss farewell to our realities." Alex states to them.
"Who put her in charge?" Wolverine asks her.
"I did. You got a problem?" Alex asks and causes Wolverine to growl at her.
Gwen sighs when her senses warn her of an oncoming presence. "Someone's coming."
"Who invited him?!" Morg'Ann asks in shock while raising her shield.
Everyone looks worried as they look shocked to see who is here as they all look at the other end of the table to see that there was somebody that none of them wanted to see: Deadpool.
"If the fate of this world hangs in the balance, shouldn't all of us have a voice? " He then turned to face the reader of the story. "That's right, baby! I'm here. It only costed the authors some sleep...and a finger. A chicken finger. Don't worry, they'll be fine...eventually. I still need them to keep writing me in this story. Ever seen the Steven King movie Misery? It's sorta like that. And if you haven't seen that movie, I wouldn't recommend it to authors. But readers, give it a read. This is what you do to the authors."
Rainbow Dash looks over his shoulder and looks to the reader but sees nothing. "Who's he talking to?"
"We don't question him." Nia informed the pony.
"There goes the friendly neighborhood." Miles states with a sigh.
"We're gonna need more shawarma." Kathrine Bishop sighed as she was cleaning her arrows.
The arrival of the Merc With a Mouth seemed to have been the straw that broke the camels back as everyone suddenly started turning on one another and arguing with themselves.
"We should have known this was a bad idea." Kate sighs and removes her cowl.
"All right, wizards, heroes, dragon riders, anti-heroes, let's be civil." Barry begs of them and sees they're not calming down.
Morg'Ann and Gwen get an idea as she raises her shield and allows Gwen to punch it, sending a shockwave that silences everyone.
"Thank you." Barry says and looks towards them. "Listen, everyone, I know we're all in a tough situation. Most of us weren't even aware that their realities have been threatened. But this problem's leaking outside of our worlds. If we don't work together, every single universe will be sucked into our worlds. It's already started: at the beginning, it was a few worlds we were at least familiar with, and a few new realities. Kate's realities being one of the first few examples." He gestures to Kate-Hawkeye who gave them a wave. "Then it followed to more realities." He gestured towards Jack and River. "It's going to keep spreading, and the cracks will keep spreading through the metaverse and keep pulling realities we can't control. Evidenced by our pony friends."
"I hate how normal this is for us." Laura told Kamala as they watched the others at the table interact and argue.
"Is it weird you sound like one of those pony's?" Kamala asked as Laura looked at her angrily.
"Our worlds are about to be completely broken and not being able to be put back together. There will be no way for any of us to go back. Like it or not, we all need one another." Barry tried to get them on the same page. "For better or for worse. We were all brought together, so we might as well use our strengths to help one another. Our main heroes and most powerful cards are still out there, most likely searching for a way to get here to help us. But we have to do our part on this end." He then pulls up a map on the table of all the realities and circled an area around the Batman Who Laughs' castle. "I propose a radical plan. We might not be able to go against this monster head on, but we can do something to create a signal strong enough to contact the Helicarrier and pull it through our end. The only problem is...the only thing that can get them here is something equal to the power source in the Helicarrier."
"The ship is powered by a Terrigen crystal." MJ informed them. "Terrigen is an incredible rare mineral first created by the Kree and was discovered after the rise of Inhumans. It's incredibly powerful, and was the biggest crystal ever discovered. We knew if it were to be destroyed, it could cause a city of Inhumans. Something we couldn't let happen. There would be too many people with random powers and no guarantee that they'd survive."
"Right. And if we can find a power source to match the crystal, just maybe, we can get word out to the others. At full strength, we'd have an army of heroes on our side." Barry stated. "If fighting a Secret War will prevent the deaths of hundreds of other multiverses and keep ours from being flooded in with other realities problems, I am willing to do anything if it means we can put reality back the way it's supposed to be. Are you going to join us?"
"To be continued!" Deadpool cries as everything goes to black.
