CHAPTER 6
He opens his eyes, the light disturbs his eyes but after blinking few times now it's clear. He tries to move his hand to place it on the person lying on his shoulder but his hands are so heavy as if it weights a ton. He wants to make some sound but except an Ahh.. nothing comes up.
He wants to call this person, he knows this person, he knows this person more then himself, but again no such voice comes up. He keeps looking at the person. There is a tan visible on his face. Dark circles, the unsmooth hairs. Is he sick?. He wants to study him more, so he continues looking at him

Daya is a light sleeper due to his duty. He feels someone looking at him with fixed glaze. He remembers himself sleeping in the hospital room, oh yes… maybe some doctor or nurse comes for the visit, he should wake up
He sat up while rubbing his eyes and looked around but stopped
A pair of tired but bright eyes is looking at him. Thousand watt smile litup Daya's face
"Abhiii…"
Abhijeet said tiredly "k..k…kia hua….hai…"
"Abhi tum…"
"Tum…haan…kia…hua…hai?"
"Abhi… tummm…mein…tumhein pata…hai..tum…mein… mein doctor ko bulata hun"
Not knowing how to speak properly Daya just rushed out of the room
Abhijeet wants to protest, he wants to say something more, but speaking out this "tumhein kia hua hai" cost him the last ten minutes of consciousness, so he just sighs and closes his eyes
He feels someone poking his chest then heard a voice
"Mr Daya aap ko shayad koi ghalat fehmi hui ho gi…ye to.."
"Nahi mujhe ghalat fehmi nahi hui hai…Abhi ko hosh aya tha..aap log theek se dekhiye na.."
"Per…Mr Abhijeet ko to…"
They are saying that his daya is a liar. Oh…he had closed his eyes, right? Its so heavy to open his eyes, but Daya is not a liar. He opens his eyes tiredly and sighed
"Do..do..doctor…"
The doctor turns towards Abhijeet and said "Wow…it's a maricle...kal tak aap mein koi bhi improvement nahi tha"
And doctor has to stopped with a shocking
"Kiaaaaa?"
Doctor turned to Daya with "excuse me?"
Daya said in unbelievable tone "improvement nahi tha?"
"Doctor looked at Daya confusingly with "An…no.."
"matalb Abhi…Abhi puri tarha se coma mein hi tha "
"Yea…humein filhaal in k kuch teast waghera karney hon ge kiun k itne din coma mein rehne k baad bohat saare limitations aatey hain.. kuch therapies hoti hain aur…"
Daya shook his head and concentrated on the details
After Abhijeet is taken for the test and the team is informed, Daya started pacing up and down the corridor. Soon Tarika came rushing with
"Daya… Abhijeet kahan hai?"
"Us ko test k liye le k gaye hain…coma k baad bohat saarey test.."
"Haan karne partey hain….Wo baat kar raha tha?"
"Haan baat karney mein mushkil ho rahi thi…. lekin phir bhi kar raha tha…haat payer theek se hila nahi pa raha "
"Haan itne din aik hi position mein rehney ki wajah se "
Daya looked at her pointedly and said "Is ka matlab koi halchul nahi hui thi…hai na Tarika?"
Tarika looked at Daya in shock then looked away
"Mujh se jhoot kiun kaha tum logon ne"
Tarika answered straightly "Abhijeet k liye"
"Abhijeet k liye us hi k naam ka jhoot keh diya tum ne "
"Daya mujhe mere pati ka khawhish puri karni thi…aur tumhein to us baat ki koi pari nahi thi.."
"Tarika…"
"Kia Tarika…tum aik k baad aik warning kiun mil rahi thi..training se nikala jane wala tha tumhein..Abhijeet ne ji jaan laga di is mission k liye taa ke tumhein promotion miley..usey guilt hota tha..lagta tha k ager wo nahi hota..to agla acp tumhe chuna jaata.."
"Per is mein guilt kiun?"
"Kiun k Acp sir k saath mil k tum ne hi usey cid join karne k kabil banaya…aur aaj wohi tum se ooper uthta ja raha hai…mein us ka guilt aur barhana nahi chahti thi…agar tumhein bhi is baat ka dehaan hota to mujhe ye jhoot nahi bolna parta"
Daya kept looking at Tarika for few seconds then moved aside
Tarika nudged Shreya with "jao…"
Shreya move towards Daya and sat beside him "Daya…mein.."
"Mein emotional ho kar Abhi ke saath hi ghalat kar raha tha…hai na?"
"Nahi Daya…ghalti aap ki bhi nahi thi… na hi Tarika ki ghalti thi…ye to bas halaat…"
They both were busy in conversation when Abhijeet was shifted back to his room
Tarika looked at Daya who smiled with "tum jao…mil lo…me baad mein jaata hun "
"Per Daya..'
"Jao Tarika…mil lo…"
And Tarika moved inside
