Nestled in the Japanese Prefecture of Miyagi sat a small quiet town called Maiagaru. It is a peaceful town with a lot of old traditional Japanese style houses, not a lot goes on and extraordinarily little to see. A few shops and tourist spots along with parks but other than that, it was a simple town where people often come to raise their kids in peace. But tucked in a corner of the town, sat a more modern Japanese style house and if it weren't hidden behind trees you would be able to see it on the road and instantly think that the style sticks out like a sore thumb. This story begins a little past sunrise and in the master bedroom of the modern house, on the bed, laid a person covered up.

The sun was making was just making its way up the high mountain walls when an alarm went off. The person in the bed groans as he/she reached his/her arm out and turned the alarm off that was sitting on the nightstand next to the bed. The person then stretches before sitting up and judging from the muscular build (and chest) you definitely could tell the person was a man who surprisingly had bright orange hair that glowed in the sunrise. The man then got out of bed and made his way to the bathroom while rubbing his eyes, then got undressed and got into the shower once he closed the bathroom door. After showering, he went downstairs and made some breakfast and coffee then once he was finished, he brushed his teeth and got dressed for the day.

A few minutes later, he walks out of the house with a set of keys in one hand and a large water bottle in the other. He walked towards a car port where there was two cars parked, he unlocks one of them and gets in while sitting the water bottle in one of the cup holders. He then started the car and backed out of the car port before driving away. It didn't take him long to get to his designated place which turned out to be a High School. He sits in his car for a few seconds as he stares at the school and smiled. He then got out of his car and made his way to the main entrance unlocked it before going inside. He seemed to know the school layout because he didn't look lost at all, as a matter of fact, he went straight to the school's office.

He didn't stay long though, he literally went in looked around the room and saw what he seemed to have wanted, a key of some sorts. He grabbed it off the hook it was on and made his way back outside towards a gym. He unlocked the gym the slid opened the doors as the made a metallic squeak, the man took off his shoes and placed other ones on the gym floor before walking inside and placing the other shoes on. He then stands up and looks around the gym for a sec before making his way to what looked like a stage and then setting his jacket and water bottle on it. The man stretches as he hummed to himself and made his way over to another metal door next to the stage and opened it.

There wasn't much inside, just some mops and sporting equipment. But the man knew what he wanted and made no effort to hesitate as he walked further inside and grabbed the volleyball equipment. The man, who apparently had done this before, set up the volleyball net in no time flat. Once he was finished, he stood at the end of the court and stared at it as he took a big breath and then exhaled all the while keeping his eyes closed as he allowed himself to get lost in his own thoughts "There's an enormous wall in front of me, blocking my way." A voice from his past said in his head

"I can only imagine what's on the other side, what does it look like? Is it the view, from the summit? I'll never be able to see it on my own; but if I have others by my side…." The voice from his past said continuing, he chuckled at the voice as he continued to keep his eyes closed "I wonder how many times I've said that in the past?" The man thought to himself as he paid no attention to the footsteps coming closer to the gym "Oi, there you are." Another man's deep voice said interrupting the other man's thoughts. But the first man didn't seem to mind it though, as he opened his eyes and turned his head towards the door and watch the other man put on his shoes before walking into the gym.

The new man also had a muscular build but comparing him to the first man, he had a lot more muscles then the first man. He also had black hair and was way taller than the first man. "I thought I'd find you here." The taller man said, the shorter man laughed a little before saying "I thought I'd come here and get set up before we got started." The taller man smiled a little as he hummed in response while walking up to the shorter man "Well, you got the net set up and everything. So, what were you just doing?" The taller man asked him "Just thinking about the last time we were here; it's been a long time." The shorter man said

"Yeah, no kidding. I was expecting they would've done a complete remodel of the place, but it looks like it hasn't changed." The taller man said the shorter man chuckled "I think they did a little updating, the floor looks different and newer, though to be honest, I'm wondering if they did anything with the club room." The smaller man said making the taller man let out a small laugh "Right, when we were here, we had this rusted metal shelves." The taller man said as the shorter man laughed "And most of them had crap already on them." He responded as the taller man smiled lightly while snickering and nodding in agreement then sighed "A lot of things sure have changed over the years we've been gone." The taller man said

"Yeah, makes me wonder what the players are like." The shorter man said "Speaking of which, what do you think we should do? Should we have the players start on training or…" The taller man started to say as he walked towards a basket of volleyball and picked one of them up but then stopped in mid-sentence when he saw the smaller man thinking while he hummed, deep in his thoughts. "I think we should see how they play first. We need to know if they're lacking in any areas." The smaller man said as he made his way towards the stage

"Oh, like how you were lacking in your receives?" The taller man said teasing the shorter man, though this caused the smaller man to give him a look before saying, "Or like how you were lacking in your teamwork and social skills?" This made the taller man tick "Oi, give me a break!" He said loudly snapping at the smaller man "Are you gonna give me a break for my crappy receives?" The shorter man asked, the taller man just groaned in frustration as he really couldn't let go of that. The shorter man laughed then said "Yeah, that's what I thought." He then continued walking towards the stage and grabbed his water bottle taking a drink from it.

"So, how do you want to set up the game?" The taller man asked making the smaller man chuckle "Oh, so you are gonna take my advice." The shorter man said as he smirked at the taller man who then grunted in embarrassment. "Yeah, well it's a good idea." The taller man said mumbling quietly "Huh? What did you just say? I couldn't hear you." The shorter man said teasing the taller man who grunted in annoyance as he knew the shorter man could very well hear him, he might as well have the ears of a bat "I said it's a good idea!" The taller man shouted then growled as the shorter man laughed at him "Are you gonna answer me or are you just gonna tease me all day?" The taller man asked

"No, I'll stop, and to answer your question. It'll depend on how many players the team has." The shorter man responded the taller man hummed as he thought to himself "Well, if they have 12 players like we did then we could have a 6-on-6 match but if they have less than that we'll have to figure out a way around that, one of us could play with them but that's only if they have one less than we did and we can't both play since we need one of us to watch the game so if they have less than….." The taller man began but about halfway through the shorter man stopped listening and was soon lost into his thoughts once again

"Oi, are you listening to me?!" The taller man shouted "Huh? What was that?" The shorter man asked snapping out of his daydream "Hey, listen to when other people are talking you." The taller man said to him, the shorter man laughed sheepishly "You're right, I'm sorry." The shorter man said, "Hmm?" The taller man said in confusion as he gazed into the shorter man's caramel brown eyes "Alright, what's wrong? You've got that look in your eyes." The taller man said "Hmm? Nothing's wrong. I was just taking a trip down memory lane and a question popped in my head." The shorter man explained "What was the questioned?" The taller man asked "Well, if you had the chance to go back in time and do everything all over again, would you change anything or would you keep things the same?" The shorter man asked

The taller man just sighed as he tossed a volleyball he had in his hands "I don't know. I'd like to back and change a few things that happened in my life but they're all bad memories and I'm in no hurry to relive them. Would you?" The taller man asked as he stopped tossing the ball and turning to look at the shorter man who hummed in response "A part of me does, but a part of me doesn't. I would love to go back and relive the good memories but like you I'm not in any rush to relive the bad memories, even if I wanna change them." The shorter man said, the taller man sighed once again and shook his head

"You know, you shouldn't live on the past so much." The taller man said as he returned to tossing the volleyball "I know, but we had a lot of fun, didn't we?" The shorter man asked as he gained a small smile from the taller man "Yeah, we did. But here's an idea, make more fun memories that are better, so they outshine the past ones." The taller man said as he gave the ball to the smaller man. The shorter man watched the taller man walk by towards the stage where all of their stuff was as he thought about what he said long and hard before he thought up something "Well, there might be away to do that." He said

"Oh, and what's that?" The taller man asked turning his head back to look at the shorter man before turning his head back forwards and grab his water bottle taking a drink from it "Kageyama!" The shorter man shouted gaining the so called Kageyama's attention stopping him from drinking and look at him confused "Hey, what's…" Kageyama started to say when he saw the determination in the shorter man's eyes The shorter man threw the volleyball at Kageyama, who caught it with ease "Set for me, will ya," The shorter man said shocking Kageyama a little before he smiled at the shorter man "Yeah, sure…Hinata." He said to the shorter man named Hinata, who smiled and laughed at Kageyama, who chuckled back as he tossed the ball back to Hinata.

After Hinata and Kageyama got into position, Kageyama looked over at Hinata who was stretching "You ready?" Kageyama asked as Hinata stopped and looked over at Kageyama while taking a deep breath "Yeah." He said, Hinata then tossed the ball over to Kageyama. As it made it way over to him, Hinata began running quickly towards the net, "So many things have happened since High School; some good, some bad. But I still can't wrap my mind around of how quickly it flew by. As much as I would love to turn the hands of time and relive it all, I want to keep on making new memories. Both good and bad." Hinata said to himself, once he got close to the net, he jumped and not a moment later, the ball landed in Kageyama's out stretched arms which he then tossed (or set) the ball sending it to Hinata, and then…..
