"Ah, Sakura-nee-san, Ran-nee-chan," Ayumi spoke up as the two girls were out grocery shopping with the Detective Boys with them. "We heard the two of you know Shinichi Kudo."

"Oh, yeah," Ran agreed as she continued to look at the vegetables.

"Sure," Sakura also agreed with a slight blush as she looked at them.

"That's so cool," Ayumi gashed.

"I couldn't imagine being friends with a world famous High School Detective," Mitsuhiko added in awe.

"He wouldn't happen to be your Boyfriend would he, Sakura-nee-san?" Genta asked with a smirk.

Conan's face went bright red along with the Demigoddess while Ran smirked at her female friend.

"Of course not!" the two of them yelled at the same time. "We're just friend that's it!"

This made everyone to look at the shrunken Detective in surprise though Sakura and the Mouri shared a look with each other.

"Huh?"

"Just, who are you talking about?" Ran asked him with a raised eyebrow.

"I was only kidding around, Ran-nee-chan," Conan answered with a nervous smile.

"So, he is your boyfriend," Ayumi said as she smiled big at the Sea Princess.

"Actually, he's more of a...huh…" the Fudo trailed off before getting really embarrassed. "Oh, please? Stop embarrassing me?"

...My Line...

"I'm home!" Ran called out as the three of them walked into the agency.

"You know," Sakura spoke up as the two girls placed the bag of groceries on the table. "Those kids got me thinking. I wonder what ever happened to him? It's not like Shinichi to go so long without calling."

"He's probably held up somewhere on a super difficult case," Conan told her.

"But, he has never taken this long to finish up a case no matter how difficult it was," the Fudo stated as she looked at the shrunken Detective.

"Maybe, Shinichi just doesn't have it anymore," Ran suggested.

"You think?" the Demigoddess asked as she looked at the other girl.

"Yeah," the female Mouri answered with a nod making the Edogawa laughed nervously before the door bell rung just then. "Coming!"

The violet eyed, brunette opened up the door only to move out of the way where boxes fall onto the ground.

"What the?"

"What's going on?" Kogoro asked as he jerked awake.

The man at the door looked around before noticing Conan on the ground.

"Sorry about that little buddy," he said as he held out a hand to the grade schooler.

"Huh?"

The Edogawa looked at the man's hand to see a scare of some kind on his index finger before looking up him surprise.

"Are you alright, Son?" the man asked him.

The blue eyed, dark hair 7-year-old nodded his head before he allowed the man to help him back to his feet.

"Conan?" Sakura asked as she went to make sure that he was telling the truth.

The shrunken Detective turned to her as she knelt in front of him.

"I'm okay, Sakura-nee-san," he told her.

This made her smile at him softly.

...My Line...

"My name is Masayuki Ogawa," the man told them. "2 years ago, I started receiving boxes of toys and cash on my door step at beginning of the first each month. The sender always uses a fake return address and it just gives me the creeps."

"Hmmm," Kogoro hummed. "Boxes of toys and money?" He looked at the toys. "Tell me Mr Ogawa do you have any children?"

"Why yes," he answered. "I have 5-year-old son named Yuta."

"Hmm," the male Mouri hummed again. "And how much money is sent to you every month?"

"Exactly 10, 000 dollars over all I have been sent 250, 000," Masayuki answered.

"250, 000?" both Ran and her Father yelled at the same time.

'Huh?' Sakura thought as Conan gap at the man in shock. 'That's about as much if not slightly more so as the amount that Otou-sama places into both my savings and checking account every 3 months.'

"I give Yuta the toys and he plays with them all the time, but the money…" the Ogawa trailed off for a bit. "I just feel unconformable receiving that kind of cash, so I haven't touched a dime of it."

"In that case, I can hold onto all of your money for you," Kogoro stated.

"FATHER!" Ran yelled as she glared at him.

"I'm just joking," the older Mouri told her nervously though she glared at him. "Now do you have any idea, who could be sending you this?"

"No," Masayuki answered.

"It's one of your patients, isn't it?" Conan asked.

"A patient?" Kogoro asked as the Fudo, Ran, and he, himself looked at the shrunken detective.

"As a surgeon you probably see a lot of patients, right?"

"Yes."

"Then it wouldn't be surprising for a patient whose life you saved to be sending you gifts to say thanks."

"Wait a second," the Ogawa said as he thought for a moment. "I never said I was a surgeon."

"Huh?"

"Conan, how in the world did you know that he was a doctor?" the two girls asked.

"I just happen to notice his index finger," the Edogawa answered as he pointed.

"My finger?"

"There's diagonal indentation on both of his index fingers," the blue eyed, dark hair 7-year-old stated. "When surgeon's operate not only do they use them to make an incision with a scalpel, but also to stitch up a wound on their patients. That's why you have those marks on your fingers just like every other surgeon."

"Is that true, Mr Ogawa?" Kogoro asked.

"Yes, it is," Masayuki answered. "Actually, I've just preformed an operation this morning." They all looked at Conan in surprise. "Well, that is extremely observant for a child your age."

This made the shrunken Detective to laugh nervously, however, Ran was looking at him with suspicion.

"This kid is chalk full of trivial information," the adult Mouri grumbled.

"I don't find anything trivial about it," the Fudo stated. "You remind me so much of...of...Huh..."

She trailed off before looking at him with suspicion as well.

...My Line...

"You train with the Gymnastics Team, don't chya?" Shinichi asked Hitomi. "Those settle calluses can only be found on the hands of an accomplice Gymnast."

...My Line...

'This kid acts exactly like Shinichi,' the Demigoddess thought as she watched the young boy. 'But, that can't be. That's crazy.' She watched as he picked up a box and looked it over before it opened up and a head spring forward freaking Conan out making Sakura to sweatdrop. 'Geez, never mind.'

"This is what arrived in my mail box today," the Doctor informed the adult Mori as he held out an envelope.

"Huh?" Kogoro said as he took it and pulled out cash. "Well, whether then the money there doesn't seem anything suspicious about this."

"See, usually the money is in the box that the toy comes in, but as you can see this time it's not," Mr Ogawa stated. "It makes me think that something is about to happen."

"Hmmm," Kogoro hummed. "There's a letter." He then pulled it out of the envelope and opened it. "Have you ever gotten one of these letters before?"

"No. This is the first one that I received."

"Hmm."

The adult Mouri pulled out a pack of cigarettes from inside of his jacket's pocket while Conan was looking over the toys.

"Hey, how come none of these boxes have any strips on them?" he asked.

"What do you mean by strips?"

"I think he means the barcodes, Mr Mouri," the Sea Princess answered.

"Yeah," the adult Detective agreed as he looked at his cigarette pack before looking at the toys. "That certainly is a strange thing. None of these boxes seem to have them."

"You can't find toys like these in stores anymore," Conan stated unaware that the redhead was watching him. "Plus some of these toys look like they've already been used.

"Now that you mention," Dr Ogawa stated. "I have received a number of toys there were all stretched up and broken."

"Okay, whoever is sending you all of this stuff is purposely giving you used and damaged items along with hug amount of cash," Kogoro stated.

"Yes, but why is he doing it?"

"Maybe it's...just a practical joke."

"You think it's a joke?"

"That's precisely what it is," the male Mouri stated.

'No, there's to much going on here for it to be a practical joke,' Conan thought as he held his chin. 'Nobody would send that much money without a reason and that letter.'

"Mr Mori, that's a brilliant deduction," the Doctor told him. "Thank you."

"That's what I do."

Kogoro started to laugh while the two girls share a look with each other.

'Dad isn't the one solving this case,' the female Mouri thought.

'Every step of the way has been lead by Conan,' the Sakura thought as she looked over at the child. 'Could it...I mean, this little boy...could it really be Shinichi?'

"So, this letter is all that we have to finding this guy," Kogoro said as he picked up the letter again.

"Ah, do you think it's possible that this person is trying to buy something from Dr Ogawa?" Conan asked.

"Huh?"

They all looked at him.

"Depending on how you read the letter it can be interpret in a number of ways," the Edogawa pointed out.

"Oh, you know, there's a painting in my office at the hospital that I received from my Grandfather," Dr Ogawa told them. "I heard that it's estimated at over 500, 000 dollars."

"That's the answer," Kogoro stated. "This guy is trying to buy that painting from you and he's using some kind of payment plan!"

"Maybe we should go to the hospital to look from some kind of clue," Conan suggested. "It's only option at this point anyways."

"Alright," the male Mouri agreed as the redhead looked at the 7-year-old with narrow eyes. "Let's go."

...My Line...

"This hospital you got here is enormous," Kogoro stated as they all stood in the building.

"That's the same kind of reaction that I had when I arrived here three years ago," Masayuki said. "You see, I transferred here from a very small country town with only one clinic."

"Dr Ogawa, some flowers arrived here for you," a Nurse said as she walked up to him with the plant.

"I see that that came again this year," the Ogawa stated.

"Morning Glories?" the adult Detective asked. "You don't see those in winter, do ya?"

"No," the surgeon answered. "It's way to cold for them to bloom. They must have been grown in some kind of green house."

"Ah, so you know, who sent, do you?" Kogoro asked.

"I think it might be the same person," the Doctor answered. "The flowers only come once a year. Always on February 19th."

"The flowers could mean that the sender is actually a woman."

"I do know that Morning Glories stands for a short lived love," Ran stated.

"Hmm," Kogoro hummed. "Tell me, Doctor Ogawa, did you have an affair in the last few years?"

"No, no," Masayuki answered. "I swear I haven't."

"Well, is your son's birthday today?" the adult Mouri asked as Conan ran up to the nurse and took the flowers from her.

"No, Yuta's birthday isn't until August."

"Huh? Why don't you get a list of all of Doctor Ogawa's patients and check their records? There might be a patient, who has a personal connection to February 19th."

"You know, he rights," the adult Detective agreed. "How about I take a look at those records?"

"All of our patients records are strictly confidential."

"Do you want to solve this?" Kogoro asked quietly.

"I guess that I can work something out," the Doctor answered in agreement. "Just keep quiet."

"Yes, of course. It's not the first time that I looked at medical records. I remember the first time..."

Sakura looked at the back of Conan's head with narrow eyes as the two Mouris followed the Doctor.

...My Line...

"Well, this is it," the Ogawa informed them as they all were in the records room. "Every record of every patient that I have seen in the last three years. It's all there."

Sakura watched as the Detective went through the records.

"Hmm," the male Mouri hummed. "I can't find a clue in any of this. I've a feeling it has something to do with that painting of yours."

"Then would you like to come see the painting for yourself?" Masayuki asked.

"Yeah," Kogoro answered as he stood up. "Where is it?"

"I have it over here in the patients waiting room," the Ogawa answered. "Everyone come."

Four of the five went to leave only for the two girls to stopped.

"Conan, aren't you going to come along?" Ran asked.

"Nah," the Edogawa answered. "I'm just going to wait here."

"Oh, okay," the Mouri agreed. "Then just stay here and don't get into any trouble."

"Sure," the 7-year-old agreed with a smile.

The two girls walked out of the room leaving the shrunken Detective on his own.

...My Line...

"It really is such a beautiful painting," the Client informed Kogoro as they walked towards the waiting room.

Both Ran and Sakura closed the door slightly before the Demigoddess looked at her friend.

"Why don't you go keep your Father out of trouble, Ran?" the redhead asked quietly.

The brunette looked at her in worry.

"You sure?"

"Yeah," the Sea Princess answered with a smile. "I'll keep an eye on Conan."

The two girls snickered quietly at that before the Mouri turned to follow the two adults.

"Alright," the violet eyed, brunette agreed with a nod. "I'll leave it all to you, Sakura."

"You can count on me, Ran," the green eyed, auburn hair teen agreed.

Once Ran left, Sakura turned back to the partially opened door and peaked inside to see Conan flipping through the records to fast to be normal.

'Something isn't right,' the Demigoddess thought. 'He's not acting like a normal child at all. He's way to intelligent and intuitive.'

...My Line...

"But, he seems to nice," Conan said as he looked Mr Tani. "He doesn't bark at everyone like that, does he?"

...My Line...

The 7-year-old picked a statue of Liberty off the table.

"How did you know how to use it so quick if you never been here lady?" the Edogawa asked Yuko as he turned on the lighter she used.

...My Line...

'He talks and acts just like Shinichi,' Sakura thought before her eyes widen and she gasp softly. 'Wait a minute. The last day that I saw Shinichi before he disappeared that same day, Conan appeared as if he was taking his place. Is that even possible? Could Conan actually be Shinichi in the body of a child?' Conan was unaware of the Demigoddess quietly sneaking in as he went through the records. 'Either way, I've got to get this figured out once and for all.' The Sea Princess sneak up to the shrunken Detective. "Hey there." This took him by surprise. "Your not suppose to be touching those papers."

"Hey, Sakura-nee-san," Conan greeted with a nervous smile.

"Did you find a clue or something?" the Fudo asked with a smile.

"Yeah, actually I did," he answered. "Dr Ogawa said that he gets those flowers once a year, correct?" The redhead nodded her head in answer. "I'm thinking that something drastic happened to this person that really effected their life. The Money, the toys, the flowers. They all started arriving two years ago. Dr Ogawa began his practice three years ago, so that narrows it down to that first year. In that list, there are 8 people, who has something to do with February 19th. People, who have had successful surgery, people, who were hospitalized, but were discharged on that day." He hopped down from the sit and walked over to the gifts. "When some one sends flowers and gifts, it's usually a way to show appreciation for a good deed, but something troubles me about this. The Morning Glories that grows inside of a Green House and that bizarre letter."

"Seems like you have this Detective thing down," the Demigoddess said as she knelt down to his height. "Your just...your just so smart, Shinichi."

Conan turned to face her with a smile and laugh.

"Yeah," he agreed before both gasp.

"I knew it," the green eyed, auburn hair teen said as she stared at him with narrow eyes. "You really are Shinichi."

"What are you talking about, Sakura-nee-san?" the shrunken Detective asked. "My name is Conan. It's Conan." The female stood up to her full height. "You really had me scared there Sakura-nee-san." Conan laughed nervously. 'This is not good. She knows it's me! If word gets out that I'm really Shinichi Kudo then those men will come after me and finish the job. If that happens then there's a possibility that Sakura and the others will get involved and possibly hurt. I have to find to a way to get out of this.' He turned towards the toys before letting a smile come to his face. "Wow. It's a game man!" The Edogawa then looked over at a game console. "I love this game! It's my favorite!"

"Huh?"

"Get him, get him!" the blue eyed, dark brown hair boy laughed. "Jump over the log! This is so much fun!"

'Humph,' the Fudo thought. 'Now it's to obvious. He's just making himself even more suspicious. It has to be Shinichi. I'm not…' She gasped as she had a light bulb moment. 'Wait if that's true then...Oh no!' Her eyes widen in shocked horror. 'I told him everything! Everything!'

...My Line...

"You know, you won't always think girls are gross, Conan," the Fudo informed him. "In fact, there's a boy that I like."

"Huh?" the Kudo giggled. "It's that boy, you were looking for? Isn't it? You like Shinichi-nii-san?"

"That's right," Sakura agreed as she looked him with a smile.

...My Line...

The Demigoddess could only continue to get more horrified as time goes on. She couldn't help, but think that either Benzaiten, the Shinto Goddess of things that flow which includes love or Aphrodite, the Greek Goddess of Love are messing with her love life.

...My Line...

"I know that I shouldn't," she remember telling him. "Ever since we were little kids, he has always been a little full of himself and way into mysteries, but he's always been there for me when ever I needed him. And he's brave...and handsome...and well...I love him."

...My Line...

Sakura freaked out at that just as Conan lost.

"Ah, it says game over," the Edogawa said before looking back at her. "Hey, Sakura-nee-san, do you want to play?"

"No," she answered as her face went bright red with steam coming out of her head.

"You like this game don't you, Sakura-nee-san?" Conan asked.

"I HATE VIDEO GAMES!" Sakura yelled taking the teen turned child by surprise. "AND DON'T YOU FORGET IT!"

"Alright," the blue eyed, dark brown hair child said once he recovered. "I'll just keep playing on my own then." He then noticed something odd. 'Usually you put in your own name or favorite character's name to save your game.' The shrunken Detective cupped his chin in thought. 'Wait a moment. Tomoya Ogino. I've heard that name some where.' "Ah!" 'Of course!' He ran over to the table and opened up one of the records. 'Here it is! Tomoya Ogino. It says here that he was 5-years-old when he died do to complication on Dr Ogawa. That happened three years ago on February 19th. It's all starting to make sense now! Oh no! I see what the letter was saying now!' Conan turned to where Sakura was still freaking out over the fact that she told a child Shinichi how she felt for him. "Sakura-nee-san! Hurry and get Dr Ogawa in here immediately." This took her by surprise. "You've got to hurry! We don't have much time!"

...My Line...

Sakura ran through the halls of the hospital towards where Ran, Kogoro, and Masayuki were.

'I'm positive now,' the Fudo thought. 'The way his talks, his gestures, his attitude, the way his solves things. Their all Shinichi."

...My Line...

"Conan!" the adult Mouri called out as he slammed the door open. "What is this all about? Tell me?"

"I'm positive that it's one of the parents of Tomoya Ogino," Conan answered as he opened up the record to the page.

Dr Ogawa walked up to him and took the record book from him.

"Tomoya Ogino, huh?" The Doctor asked as he looked. "Yes. He died three years ago from an appendicitis."

"Is it possible to die from an appendicitis?" Kogoro asked.

"Yes," Masayuki answered. "It can be very deadly if it's not caught in time. In this boy's case, it was already to late when he arrived at the hospital. We weren't able to get his Father to expect that there was nothing that we could to save him."

"But, why would Mr Ogino want to send you money and gifts after that?" the male Mouri asked. "It just doesn't make any kind of sense."

"He's not sending the Doctor any kind of gifts at all," Conan stated. "It's the personal belongings of Tomoya Ogino, himself." He held up the handheld game to show them taking the two adults by surprise. "In other words, Mr Ogino has been sending Dr Ogawa all of his son's favorite things along with old grudges. The flowers that are sent every year on February 19 are in remembrance of his death. I think that the letter is saying that Ogino is coming after your son and will attempt to take his life in revenge."

"What?"

"Dr, where is your Son right now?" Kogoro asked.

"My Wife is suppose to be picking him up from Kindergarten any minute now," the Doctor answered.

"Then hurry up and call her!" the adult Mouri yelled.

...My Line...

"What!?" Ogawa yelled as he hit the payphone. "What do you mean someone picked him?"

"They said that his Father picked him up 10 minutes ago. Was that not you? Tell me, you have our Son?"

"I can't believe this."

'This is not good,' the Edogawa thought. 'If we don't find Yuta soon…' "Dr Ogawa! Where is the Kindergarten?"

"It's only a few blocks from here."

"Then they must be near by!"

"Huh?"

Kogoro and Ran gasp in shock as the 7-year-old took off.

"Conan!" Sakura yelled as she moved to follow him. "Wait!"

...My Line...

'We've got to hurry!' the blue eyed, dark brown hair child thought as they all ran through the streets. 'We don't have much time!'

...My Line...

The group was running over a bridge like walk away near a park when the Doctor caught sight of a little boy.

"Look it's Yuta!" he called to them.

They all looked over to see a young boy holding up a toy plane while the man behind him was holding a knife.

"We're to late!" Kogoro yelled in horror.

Ran and Sakura let out gasps of shock.

'Oh, no!' Conan thought in horror before he looked around only to stare at two kids playing with a soccer ball before he bent down. 'Alright.' He turned a dial like button on his shoes. 'This should be interesting.' The blue eyed, dark brown hair child ran towards them and the ball before doing an upside down kick. "Watch out!"

The two girls and the adult Mouri let out a gasp as the ball speed past them, destroying the railing and hitting the knife out Mr Ogino's hand. They all could only gap at the scene before the Fudo turned around to look at the Edogawa, who fell to the ground, and landed on his stomach.

'Wait a minute,' the redhead thought. 'Did Conan just do that by himself?'

...My Line...

"YUTA!" Dr Ogawa yelled as Kogoro, Ran, Conan, and he, himself, ran towards the two of them.

Sakura had gone around to come up behind the man to take him by surprise.

"Hey, Daddy," the little boy greeted with a smile when he looked over.

"Yuta come here!" the Father ordered.

The Ogino took noticed of the group, grabbed the knife, took hold of Yuta's shoulder, and held the knife over him.

"Don't move!?" the man ordered. "You know what will happen if you come any closer!"

"Ogino," Masayuki sighed as they came to a stop. "It was you after all."

"So, you remember me," the Ogino said. "Then you remember my boy, Tomoya, who you killed three years ago, all thanks to your surgery."

"But, that wasn't a surgical mistake," the Ogawa told him. "It was already to late for your Son."

"Shut up! You don't know what it feels like to watch as your Son is murdered by some hack Doctor! All I had after that was my Son's ashes and the insurance money!"

"So, it was you, who sent all that money?" Kogoro asked.

"You got it," the man agreed as the Fudo tipped toed up behind him. "Tomoya's favorite toys, the money, and the Morning Glory flowers that he loved so much. I sent them to you filled with my own grief. Now your going to find out first hand the sadness that comes from losing a Son."

The Doctor fall to his knees while looking at the man.

"Please, please, don't hurt my Son," Dr Ogawa begged. "Kill me, but just don't hurt him. Spare my Son, I beg of you?"

The redhead shot her right hand out, grabbed the Ogino by the wrist of the hand that held the knife, and twisted it behind his back forcing him to drop the said knife.

"Sakura!" Ran called out in shock

'She's like a Ninja,' Conan thought as he looked at his crush in surprise.

"Oh, I see," the little boy said as he turned to look at the man. "Your the one, who has been sending me all of those neat toys, right? Thanks a lot Mister. You should see. I take really good care of them."

"T-T-Tomoya," the Ogino stuttered as Sakura let him go while he fall to his hands. "Tomoya! Tomoya!"

"Mister, what's the matter?" Yuta asked. "Did my Dad say something that hurt you?"

"No, he didn't little boy," Tomoya's Father answered. "I was the one, who did something hurtful. I knew from the beginning that Tomoya didn't die because of a surgical mistake. But, I soon find out that the only way I can deal with his death was to blame some one else. Forgive me, little boy. I'm so sorry."

"Ran find a phone and call the police?" Kogoro asked as he looked at her.

The female Mouri nodded her head.

"Wait just a minute," Dr Ogawa asked as he stood up. "I really wither you didn't call the police."

"But, Dr Ogawa, he tempted to kill your son," the male Mouri stated.

"Let's just forget the whole thing?"

"Well...huh...

"Tomoya!"

Masayuki knelt down next to him.

"Mr Ogino, I can understand how you feel right now because like you, I'm a Father to a Son before I am doctor."

...My Line...

"You know, we're pretty lucky that didn't turn out any worse then it already did," Ran stated as the group of four walked out of the park.

"Yes, but why did he spent 2 years sending all those toys and money?" Kogoro asked.

"From the way that I see it," Conan spoke up. "He was properly waiting until Yuta becomes 5-years-old so that he can take his life at the same age that he lost Tomoya."

"Ah, that makes some sense."

"Good thinking, Detective Conan," Sakura deadpan.

This made him freeze.

"Ha, ha, but, I'm just a kid," he stated. "What do I know?" The redhead's eyes were narrowed at him. "I just remember that I have something to do. I'll see you back at the house, Sakura-nee-san!"

"That is one odd little kid," the adult Mouri stated as the shrunken Detective ran off.

...My Line...

"I'm home!" Conan called out as he walked into the apartment that Sakura was staying at. "Hey, where did your Dad and Brother go?"

"Otou-sama and Onii-sama had to go back to the company that they work at before Zeus-Oji-sama (Uncle Zeus) gets angry with them," the Fudo answered him as she was getting her book bag ready for school.

"Hmmm."

"You must be hungry, huh, Conan?" Sakura asked. "I'll fix something up for you right away."

"Hmmm."

"You know, my Physical Education Teacher, Mr Kishida is getting married next weekend," the redhead informed him.

"Ah, that guy's a gorilla," the Edogawa stated.

At the sound of the balcony door closing loudly made the shrunken Detective to look up at Sakura, who was glaring at him.

"Tell me, Conan, how would you know what my High School Teacher looks like?" the Sea Princess asked.

"I heard both you and Ran-nee-chan saying a few days ago that he looks like a gorilla," Conan answered.

"Don't lye," the Demigoddess growled as she glared even harsher at him. "I knew that there was something funny about you and I know for sure. You are Shinichi!"

"I...I already told you…"

"No, I want the truth," Sakura growled. "Now Shinichi!"

Just then her phone started to ring.

"T-telephone..."

"Just let it ring," she told him.

"But, what if..."

"This is so like you," the Fudo deadpan. "I'll be right back." She walked over to the phone and picked up. "Mochi, mochi. The Fudo residence."

"Hey, Sakura," a very familiar voice greeted which made her gasp. "It's been a while hasn't it?"

"Is this Shinichi?" Sakura asked in surprise. "But, there's no way." She looked at Conan. "Shinichi is right here."

"Hey, hold on? Have you forgotten the sound of my voice already? It hasn't been that like, Sakura. Are you there? Are you listening Sakura?"

"Yeah," she agreed with a smile. "I'm listening. Sorry about that. I was mistaken. In fact, I was a little confused. For a moment there I had honestly thought that you were in the same room as me."

"That's a funny one. Ha, ha, ha."

"Ah, I've been saved," Conan sighed in relief.
