It was when Michael gave all of Tahani's memories back, that she knew without a shadow of a doubt.

There were already countless memories of the two flirting back and forth, but only one attempt where it became so much more: Attempt 218. When Michael had told her that her 'soulmate' was a woman, Tahani laughed for a full minute until she realized that the disguised demon had not made a joke. And when her eyes landed on the simply-dressed blonde woman, she felt the world stop and Michael's voice fade into the background. Their physical relationship had become a thunderstorm come alive in a way that Tahani hadn't even experienced a fraction of with a man on Earth. It was a vicious cycle of succumbing to an inferno of need, telling herself that she was still the straight and charitable woman that was loved on Earth, and then giving in to her deepest desire all over again.

Upon the Good Place's celebration regarding the creation of a door to leave said Good Place, Tahani felt her heart shriveling up at the realization that Eleanor and Chidi wouldn't split apart anytime soon, and there was only her, by herself while her former lover and platonic husband found love in other people. Eventually, she took it upon herself to push aside the crying and the drinking as she became an architect against the voice in her head, telling her to walk through the door and feel as if every sharp pain in her mind would fade into nothing. But, Tahani blushed at the memory, there had to be something to distract the woman from the pain. That was when Vicky walked into the picture.

With Eleanor being the only woman interest in a sea of male flings, Tahani had some case in telling herself that she was straight. But as Vicky and Tahani worked together as architects, the acid snake demon would wink at her following suggestive remarks that were barely whispered. When Tahani wouldn't tell her to stop, Vicky moved on to having her hand graze different parts of Tahani's body for a few moments before walking away. It was finally, after an evening of several drinks, did Tahani finally snap and dominated the demon until she was a sweat-drenched, gasping mess.

Vicky insisted that, despite her species, the whole seduction was not intended to torture Tahani. And over the course of several Jeremy Bearimys, Tahani felt a sense of relief with a new companion to confide in. But as time went on, Tahani felt her mind racing and her palms getting sweaty as she wondered if Vicky was falling in love with her. When she told Vicky that she still loved Eleanor, Vicky had explained that she already knew this, and that demons don't love the same way that humans do. In short, Vicky held no hard feelings for Tahani as their wild flings transitioned into hangouts where Vicky would talk Tahani through her feelings for Eleanor.

Tahani took off even faster as the graphic images of Eleanor engaging in stranger-filled orgies flashed in her head. Pressing her fingers against her forehead and cursing under her breath, she eventually made it to the dining room for the architects and various demons. As per request of several said demons, the room had no decorations or bright colors whatsoever, just grey chairs by a grey table in a grey room. Leaning against the grey wall was Vicky herself, her arms crossed as she stared at Tahani, raising one eyebrow.

"Is there any good reason that you're not with her right now?" Vicky commented. "Let me guess, you kissed her, and now you're scared to lay more moves on her. Is that right?"

"I…"

"Or wait, you wanted to kiss her and you chickened out?" Vicky suggested. "Tahani, it's a miracle that she didn't cease to exist, and you're still not telling her how you feel? What if she tries the door again?"

"She won't," Tahani explained. "She told me that some 'secret desire' was keeping her from ceasing to exist, and she didn't know what it was."

"Y'know, there's certainly one possibility for what that desire is~" Vicky grinned.

"No, Vicky," Tahani sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. "She's talking about screwing a bunch of strangers, I couldn't keep listening to that. I just-"

"There you are!"

"Oh Eleanor, I really-" Tahani tried to take off, but felt Eleanor trap her in a hug from behind as she felt Eleanor's face pressing against her back. Tahani saw Vicky smirk right before she closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

"I'm sorry," Eleanor whispered. "I shouldn't be telling you how to handle your time on Earth, not when you have all of eternity to learn how to cope with it. I don't know everything you've been going through, and I shouldn't assume getting over it would be as easy as going on a date or joining an orgy…"

Tahani winced.

"...but maybe helping you is what I came back for?" Eleanor suggested. "It must be, right? I mean, how could a babe with such a rockin' bod be single? You could build your own harem with all the time you have!"

Eleanor pulled out of the hug, looking away and running her fingers through her hair.

"After we help you with your problems, of course," Eleanor smiled. "So, what do you say? Want to move back into the Good Place?"

"I don't know about that vacant mansion," Tahani chuckled as she felt her heart racing.

"No, hot stuff," Eleanor shook her head. "You'll be staying with me, and Janet can accommodate whatever party or expensive wine you want. You can even renovate my house if you'd like, just don't get rid of the calendar please."

Calendar?

"You can still be an architect," Eleanor glanced at Vicky. "She doesn't need to be here 24/7, right?"

"We're used to her here," Vicky replied. "But I'm sure we could manage given our growing team of architects. Right, Tahani?"

Tahani felt her face heating up as both Eleanor and Vicky stared at her, and she nodded her head before Vicky could sneak in any remarks.

"Yes, that sounds great," Tahani struggled not to grin as she turned to Vicky. "I'll see you in a bit to finish the test?"

"Hopefully you're gone longer~" Vicky winked.

"Why would she want you gone lo-"

"Let's go, Eleanor," Tahani grabbed Eleanor by the hand as they took off, Vicky howling with laughter behind them.
