Supernatural Resurgence of Moonlight ch.7

It was now just after sunset and Artemis and I had monsters to hunt, its the perfect opportunity to test my new godly abilities! I knew full well I was fully powered and as a god of strength I was most definitely archangel level.

"Blake are you ready to end these monsters?" My girlfriend asked.

"Course I am Artemis. I'm just eager to discover what all I can do now that I'm a god." I replied.

"As a god of a shadows you have control over every shadow of the world, you can bind someones shadow so that they cannot move or make the shadow attack its owner. You will most likely be stronger at night due to more shadows being present." Artemis began explaining.

"Thats awesome!" I exclaimed.

"Thats not all either, you can use telekinesis, you can teleport, Smite those weaker then yourself, As a god of dimensions you are able to tear the fabric between worlds and realms with ease. Perhaps you can even enter Lucifers cage." Artemis said.

"Seriously I can Smite?" I asked excitedly.

"Thats correct, though the ability takes more power to use the closer the entity you are smiting is to your power level." Artemis replied.

"You may be able to make illusions due to dimensions being your domain but the rest of your powers you will discover on your own I don't know what else you could do besides standard deity abilities." Artemis explained.

"Alright I can handle that, I appreciate it love." I said pecking Artemis on the lips.

"You're getting quite comfortable with that Andros." Artemis remarked slyly.

"Why wouldn't I be, you're my girlfriend." I shot back.

"True, though were you anyone else and tried that you would have lost a hand." Artemis said.

"For some reason I don't doubt that my love." I chuckled.

I began to send out a tendril of energy to sense for vampires or werewolves and got a hit almost immediately…

"Artemis theirs three vampires in that house over there." I said pointing to the house.

"Excellent work, I wasn't expecting you to figure out how to sense other life forms this quickly." Artemis remarked impressed.

"Lets just say I knew the general idea." I said.

I pointed my hand palm forward at the nearest shadow and willed it to coalesce into a spear…

"We have some vampires to kill my lady!" I exclaimed.

"Indeed we do." Artemis agreed.

To prevent the vampires getting spooked and attacking the hostage Artemis went in and teleported the girl out and then we met the head vamp in charge…

"Pagans! It figures you would show your faces in this town!" The vampire in front sneered.

"Well why wouldnt we bloodsucker, after all whenever mysterious kills pop up hunters inevitably show up and theres no greater hunter then Artemis THE goddess of the hunt!" I said in praise of my girlfriend.

"You don't smell female to me Pagan and that cant be Artemis because she doesn't associate with males!" Said one Vampire who was particularly cocky.

In response Artemis pulled out her bow and shot three arrows into each vampires heart in the span of a nanosecond..

"Hey you took my kill!" I complained.

"All's fair in love and war my dear Andros." Artemis smirked.

Two howls pierced the air and I thought werewolves…

I spun around and caught one by the throat placing my hand on its forehead before pushing my magic into the werewolves being which lit up with dark purple light leaving its eyes burnt out a moment later…

"Well that was quite effective." I commented.

"Smiting usually is." Artemis agreed after pulling her dagger out of the second werewolfs heart…

BANG! I felt a twinge as a bullet hit me…

"Dean. You're a bit late arent ya?" I asked.

"How are you not dead?" Dean asked.

I sauntered over to him and picked the hunter up by the throat one handed…

"Simple, I am no longer human but a god." I replied.

"I threw Dean out the front door before turning to Artemis and saying well shall we get out of here?"

"Yes we shall." Artemis purred.

As my girlfriend and I stepped over the doors threshold I looked back and flicked my hand igniting the room in shadowy flames consuming everything…

Once Artemis and I stepped back onto Mount Olympus I heard a gruff voice call "Andros!" I turned to see the god of the fiery forge striding towards us with a bundle in his hands…

"Hephaestus is that what I think it is?" I asked.

"Indeed, its your symbol of power. Unfortunately i could not make you a scythe due to it being forbidden after Kronos but I forged you something I believe you will like.

The smith took the cloth off the bundle and my jaw fell because I recognized the weapon…

It was a near perfect replica of Thor's stormbreaker from Avengers infinity war. I say near perfect because the color was wrong but I wasn't complaining..

"I call it Duskfire, I hope it is to your liking." Hephaestus said hopefully.

I held out my right hand and the axe flew into it feeling perfectly at home…

I could feel the power thrumming through the runes…

"Its perfect Hephaestus, thank you!" I said gratefully!

"It was no trouble!" Said the god.

"That is quite the weapon Andros." Artemis commented.

"Agreed, I think its better than a scythe." I said.

I glanced at her sideways and asked "Though why didn't you tell me Scythes were forbidden as symbols of power after Kronos was defeated?"

"Slipped my mind." Artemis said truthfully.

I contemplated what I could do now but before I got anywhere I felt Artemis grab me and we vanished…

"What the hell? Where are we?" I asked."

"My palace. I figured we may want a bit of privacy.." Artemis suggested slyly.

"I took one look at her face and said "You're serious? I thought you were an eternal virgin?"

"The oath wasn't on the river Styx." Artemis shot back.

"I thought for a second then decided what the hell it was her choice!"

I surged forward and pressed my lips to Artemis…

She guided me to the palace's bedroom and shoved me onto the bed before removing her hunting jacket and tank top revealing a black sports bra…

Once her hunting jeans came off I can honestly say I didn't expect what she was wearing.. Black boy-shorts.

Waiting these few years was well worth it because even though I was Artemis first I can honestly say I was beyond shocked at how good the sex was! Though she is a goddess so maybe I shouldnt have been…

The next morning..

I turned my head to see my girlfriend still sleeping and I shook her shoulder…

"Artemis wake up." I said.

"Andros what Is it?" she asked.

"Its morning, would you like to go eat?" I asked.

"Yes, of course!" She agreed immediately.

I heard something in my head..

"Blake I don't know how the hell this works or if you hear me but If you hear me get your idgit ass over here!"

"Dammit." I thought.

"Andros is something wrong?" Artemis asked.

"My old mentor Bobby singer is praying to me which means he knows I am a god which means.."

"Winchester told him." Artemis finished.

"Yep." I said.

"Go, I will wait for you where we had dinner together two days ago." Artemis said.

I quickly got dressed and teleported to Singer salvage where I was met with an iron crowbar to the head…

"Wow Bobby that really hurt." I commented.

"You mind explaining why the hell Dean is telling me you're claiming to be a god?" Bobby demanded.

"Well you prayed so its not exactly a claim Bobby."

"So you really went full on Pagan boy? After everything I taught you?" Bobby asked hurt.

"Whether you believe me or not Bobby not all gods are evil, the greeks sure as hell arent. Its the Hindu and Norse pantheons that really have a taste for human flesh." I said.

"So you aint killed nobody?" Bobby asked skeptically.

"HELL NO! And if Dean told you I did then he will be the first and last human I kill!" I promised.

"Why did you do it kid?" Bobby asked.

"It makes me a lot harder to kill thats why." I snapped.

"Not that, this." Bobby slapped a newspaper on the table with the headline building erupts in purple fire.

"I assume this was your doing?" Bobby asked.

"Yeah, it was, I did it to get rid of the bodies of both the vampires and the two werewolves."

"Vamps and Were's were working together?"Bobby asked shocked.

"Yeah, it shocked the shit outta Artemis and I too." I replied.

"So how long you and the goddess of the hunt been bumping tails?" Bobby asked casually.

I spit out what coffee I had in my mouth and spluttered "I don't know what you're talking about."

"Boy I wasn't born yesterday, it would take a hell of a lot more then a power upgrade to get you to become a Greek god plus I saw the symbol on your damn arm years ago." Bobby chuckled.

"Why didn't you kill me?" I asked warily.

"Well for one ya idgit I didn't want to piss off an ancient goddess! Every man knows hell hath no wrath like a woman pissed! Plus you were still human!" Bobby replied.

"Okay so why don't you put me down now?" I asked.

"Same reasons. Minus humanity. Besides I don't think I'd be able to, every piece of lore states at full power you gods are just short of invincible." Bobby pointed out.

"Thats true. Zeus almost disintegrated Raphael and thats some serious power." I said.

"Raphael, I'm assuming you're talking about the Archangel." Bobby asked.

"Correct." I said.

"Now anyway Bobby I gotta get going, I'm meeting Artemis for breakfast…
