Breadstix Love
Sam was lying on his bed bored; it was a normal Friday evening in his household his parents were downstairs watching TV and his siblings Stacey and Stevie were in their rooms playing. He decided to see if there was anything new on Netflix to watch to keep himself entertained but nothing caught his eye. He was about to take a nap when his phone buzzed, Sam grabbed his phone to see who the message was from, it was from Blaine.
Hey! Do you want to hang out?
Sam thought about it and decided that it would be better than being stuck in the house bored.
Yeah, sure what do you want to do?
We could go to Breadstix and just grab something to eat and catch up?
Sounds good I'll be there in 20.
Sam replied before turning his phone off and started getting ready to go and meet Blaine. He was glad to just get out of the house as he had been stuck in bored for days, plus he knew that him and Blaine would have fun together they always do when they hang out.
20 minutes later Sam arrived at Breadstix and looked around to see if Blaine had arrived yet, but no sight of him he starting to think maybe something better had come up and decided to bail on hanging out. After 10 minutes he decided he would just go home so he started heading home.
"SAM!" he heard a voice shouting him and looked to see who it was, it was Blaine.
"I'm so sorry the traffic was awful on the way up here; I hope you haven't been waiting too long?' Blaine asked while paying the taxi driver.
Sam was relieved that the reason he was late was because of traffic and not because he had decided to bail.
"Oh no I haven't I've only just got here a minute ago actually" Sam said trying not to make Blaine feel bad for keeping him waiting.
"Shall we go in?" Blaine asked
"Yes, please I'm freezing" Sam said with a laugh.
They walked through the doors and waited for someone to come and show them to their table.
"Good evening gentlemen welcome to Breadstix have you booked a table?" The waitress asked.
Sam looked at Blaine who shook his head.
"I didn't know we had to book have the rules changed?" Blaine asked confused.
"oh no it's just for tonight as It's a special Breadstix event tonight for couples only, Couples get 50% off and if they're still here when it's karaoke time they get a chance to have a go on our karaoke machine."
"That sounds great, we'll have a table please" Blaine said before holding Sam's hand and started following the waitress, leaving Sam giving Blaine a confused look, before leaning to his ear and saying.
"What are you doing? We're not a couple" Sam asked very confused.
"I know that, but it sounds like it'll be a good night and plus who doesn't love 50% off and besides the waitress doesn't know we're not a couple so she can't prove we're lying." Blaine replied with a grin on his face.
15 minutes later after they had been seated and had ordered their food, it arrived. Sam had ordered Meatballs and Pasta and Blaine had ordered a Chicken and vegetable wrap as well as both of them ordering a glass of coke.
"So, how's life?" Blaine asked breaking the silence.
"It's good just been boring these past few days with nothing to do" Sam said
"You should have texted me you know I'm always up for hanging out together you're my best friend Sam" Blaine replied feeling guilty Sam had been feeling lonely lately.
"I know I just felt like you'd be busy with Kurt" Sam said.
"Kurt and I are actually going through a rough patch right now" Blaine said looking down sad.
"Do you want to talk about it?" Sam asked trying to help.
"Not really but thanks" Blaine said before taking a sip of his coke.
Sam was about to ask something but then they heard a bell ringing which normally means someone is about to make an announcement. As he thought a Women walked onto the stage and got ready to speak into the microphone.
"Good evening all you lovely couples I hope you're all enjoying yourselves, as you know last year, we had people pretend to be couple just to get the 50% off their food and we're trying to prevent that this year, so what I want you all to do is turn to your partner and give them a kiss." The Women said.
Sam and Blaine's eyes opened up wide in shock and just looked at each other, surely, she didn't just say that? They must be hearing things.
"I'll countdown from three and then you'll kiss, of course if you're a real couple you won't have any issues unless you've got something to hide and let me remind everyone that any couple that is caught lying will be permanently banned from Breadstix."
Sam looked at Blaine, Blaine could tell Sam was panicking. He put a hand on his shoulder.
"we'll make it quick I promise, and we both know it doesn't mean anything and no one will find out I promise" Blaine said trying to reassure Sam who looked like he was about to have a panic attack.
"Just pretend I'm Mercedes or someone you'd rather be kissing" Blaine said trying not to make things even more awkward that they already were.
The woman started counting down.
"3"
"2"
"1"
As the Women finished the countdown all the couples leaned in and kissed their partners, leaving just Sam and Blaine not kissing. Blaine noticed the Women giving them a suspicious look, so he put his hand on the back on Sam's neck and his other hand on Sam's cheek turning Sam to face him.
"Do you trust me?" Blaine asked.
"Of course, I do" Sam replied giving Blaine a nervous smile.
Blaine then leaned forward towards Sam and Sam put his hand on Blaine's shoulder and started leaning into towards him too and closed his eyes, eventually their lips met. Blaine didn't expect Sam's lips to feel this soft and started to deepen the kiss without making Sam uncomfortable. He didn't expect Sam to be this good of a kisser, but his lips felt nice on his. Then unexpectedly he felt Sam's hand move from his shoulder and up his neck and then into his hair, Sam started playing with Blaine's curls, Blaine didn't bother to gel his hair tonight. Sam then realised what he was doing and took his fingers out of Blaine's hairs and pulled away.
"I had to make it look at least a little bit realistic, sorry if I overstepped" Sam said followed with a nervous laugh.
"No, you didn't, plus I don't think the women suspects anything anymore." Blaine said causing them both to laugh. They decided they both wanted a dessert, so they decided to share a chocolate fudge cake and ice cream between them.
However, unknown to both of them Santana and Brittany were also there sitting in a booth at the back of the Breadstix and had seen the whole thing.
