A.N. honestly been a while and missed this. Writing on mobile and trying to type this up as we are on a tight moving schedule. I just caught up to the latest of Soundless Knight and got inspired to write again
I decided to create a fun, hopefully interesting story with this and I hope you enjoy what I have written. Also, yes, smut/lemon are a possibility/highly likely, as this is literally Highschool DxD. I'm very excited and hope you have you guys along that way! Note, everyone is speaking in Japanese unless otherwise stated.
Thank you YagamiNyugen for helping me love writing again.

Alexander awoke, stretching, bleary eyed and tired as hell. Glancing at his clock, it showed 4:15am, and a groan arose from him as he rubbed his face and sat up, already waking up. "God... Fucking..." he muttered, slightly irritated but mostly exasperated.
Alexander, a born American, always woke up like this, getting only 3-4 hours at night, no matter when he fell asleep. Very few nights he was able to get a good night's sleep.
Slinking out of bed, he headed to his mirror and stared back at his form. He was scrawny, scraggly and unkempt. Those were the 3 words to describe him if you only had three to choose from. He's always been like he has for the most part. He grew a bit to 5'8" but his skinny form seemed to never gain an inkling of weight or muscle. His brown exhaustion filled eyes looked back with the same look. His unkempt hair that went to neck length was a dark brown, though, it looked nearly black and could be easily mistaken for that. His face was oval shaped and looked like he was light white, scruffy chinned and a bit unkempt with his roundish face. With a little tan on his arms, he looked normalish for an American... A bit out of place here though. Especially for his fashion, or lack-there-of out of school.
He sighed, still feeling as if he was jet lagged from his flight to here even though it happened months ago. His parents decided that Japan of all places was the place to go and try to have 'family bonding'. Dad was against it with him being a Greek and Roman scholar, giving talks and having literally everything written down in his mind like he was a lexicon and encyclopedia all in one. He was fun but not around too often, not that Alexander minded. His father could be overwhelming at times.
The 16 year old grabbed his glasses, sliding them on and went to the kitchen, passing the living filled with pictures of his mom in her office with him sitting on her desk as a 6 year old, smiling, while the office overlooked the city.
"Mom, why did we leave... It's like you barely gave me any time to learn Japanese. It's hard to speak to anyone... Much less connect." Alexander grumbled. He spent most of his time, canceling pretty much everything he had fun with to commit Japanese to memory as best he could. He wasn't good, but at least passable.
Going in he grabbed a container of cereal and poured it out, and ate it dry simply just shoveling handfuls down his throat as he crunched as quietly as he could. He didn't want to wake his mom. Lord knows her response would be fury. As he ate, he looked outside. He stared at the night sky, the at the stars he could see.
"I hope I won't be bored tomorrow..." he muttered, finishing the cereal and headed back to bed, simply loading up a video game to pass the time. He looked through his collection and grabbed his favorite, Destiny, the original. The nostalgia hit hard as he played, ignoring the sequel that sat in the case on the wall as he passed the time, waiting till his alarm went off to get ready.
When it finally came he got ready and simply waited till the last minute before heading out. He hated going early so he just waited till the last minute. Walking there, he breathed in a deep breath. The air was nicer in Japan than America, to him at least. That's one of the few things he liked about moving here.
"Heyyy Alexander-san!" A female voice said to him as he nearly jumped, turning slightly and seeing a classmate, his transitional glasses now looking like sunglasses, blocked the tired look his eyes had as he faked a cheerful, "Good morning."
"Oh wow! You didn't screw that up!" She said cheerfully and laughed. Her name was Cho, and he didn't know her too well. Her brown pigtails bobbed to the sides, swinging slightly as she propped up her own glasses, though, hers were more rounded. She was thin and small in pretty much all areas and didn't even have a blemish on her face, which Alexander did find slightly attractive but didn't try anything so far due to unfamiliarity and lack of wanting someone in his life. What he did know is that she, while being friendly, is a little blunt.
He smiled, trying to be as friendly as he could, "Well I'm still trying be- I mean, to, get this all figured out. I'm not... okay at this. At least bad." Alex stumbled over the words, screwing up the last part as he tried to do his best. It was hard to keep everything together in his head.
Cho chuckled at Alex's expense as he realised he fucked up. "What Cho? Where did I screw up?" "Well... You did correct yourself on the middle part but in the end you switched 'bad' and 'okay. Sounds a bit awkward."
The groan emanating from the boy made her giggle as she waved and ran off toward the school waving at him. He slowly trotted behind, eventually reaching it and heading to the front. Kuoh Academy. Apparently it used to be girls only until recently and was one of the best in Japan, or so his mother said. God knows she exaggerates.
Heading in, he heard the three people he'd consider friends in the loosest version of the world yell, "YO, ALEXANDER!". Turing, the pervert trio approached, consisting of Issei, Matsuda and Motohama, the three most lecherous people in the school and probably all Japan in Alex's estimation. They were fun and more chill when they weren't lecherous... Which is a hard thing to see at all, as there personalities seemed to revolve around lecherous and lewd activities. Alex wouldn't doubt if it was all to there personalities.
Issei was in the middle with the other 2 flanking on the left and right of him. He was closer with Issei than the other 2, but only because the semblance of a normal person came out more often... That and the fact Issei was easier to convince to help him with homework and translations… Well, bribe is the better word than help. Alexander waved, finally heading in as he stretched, the flow of people starting to slow and head to classes.
"Have you seen the new porn DVD that came out!? Momo and Jun starring in Beauty Pure Parody AV!? I got it, right here!" Matsuda exclaimed, pulling out a box that had skimpy women on the front, posing. Females looked in disgust at the group, including Alex who simply held his up. "Nope, not part of this." In a matter of fact tone as he began to speed walk off, not wanting to be near them when the heat was this hot. Issei, smacking Matsuda on the back of the head as Motohama simply laughed in an excited voice, seeing the video. "Hey man, don't just yell that out loud! They'll think were worse than we already are!"
The three none too wiser as the kendo club moved in, noticing them, and readying themselves for the beat down of them as Alex left them to there fate, whistling as he began to head toward the stairs.
Heading up to the second floor, he nearly ran into someone, not paying attention. Thankfully he was able to twist, dodging them but still smacking right into someone. "Ah, sorry." The young boy said, backing off as he held up his hand in apology. He noticed the one he ran into being one of the Great Ladies herself, Akeno Himejima. The other was none other the other Great Lady, Rias Gremory. While he was new to Japanese culture itself and not familiar with customs, he did know when people were popular and important; these two were no exceptions.
His glasses, now back to see through but still slightly dark showed a panicked look on his face. "O-oh. Uh, Rias and Akeno! Sorry to pester and bother. Need to watch where I go, huh." He said, appearing apologetic. Rias simply smiled but Akeno appeared as if she was thinking, then a smile, a deeper one than Rias'.
"Ara ara, you failed to address your seniors and you bumped into me... You really are trying to get punished." The tone was playful and teasing as Alexander's face tinted up, coughing and he moved back a little. "How uh... I mean sorry Senpai's! I'll make it up to you?"
He didn't know why but he felt nervous and uneasy, like standing next to Akeno was not a good idea... It didn't help the fact that they were the two most attractive people in the school and while he wasn't a pervert, at least so he thought, there boobs barely seemed to fit in the uniform making it hard to not notice them as he tried to make sure his eyes didn't drift away from Akeno's face.
Akeno leaned over, her tits slightly squishing together, making hard for Alex to focus on her face. "Your name?" "Alexander. Alex is a nickname for me." He said it quickly and hurriedly. Akeno smile grew wider as Rias rolled her eyes and chuckled, walking off saying, "I'll be heading off Akeno to class. Don't hurt the boy.".
The way Rias said it made him even more uneasy as Akeno, pouting, as if she was going to continue messing with him says, "Best head to class and not be late... Oh, I may ask a favour of you in the future though."
With that, Alexander decided that was it and immediately headed off as her laugh filled his ears. He felt uncomfortable around her... But that was with most people so he waved it off as he rushed into class and sat, sighing as he prepared for class. He knew the day couldn't get any worse.
The rest of the day passed with a blur. His mind wandering and just... Baffled at the interaction... Maybe Akeno wanted money? Some free food? But those made no sense. Why a random student like him? His mind was empty on that and it lasted the day. He couldn't focus. He went home near immediately, much to the disappointment of the perverted trio who wanted him to stay with them and watch the movie or whatever they talked about this morning. His walk home wasn't too different, trying to just space out and relax, trying to not care as he usually does.
Alex knew what he needed. Hopping on his laptop, he knew he needed one thing... Stardew. The farming sim always helped with the calm atmosphere. While it did help, it wasnt enough. The session lasted till about 12 and he realised he forgot to eat. Getting up he headed to the dining room, he fixed his food and noticed his mom not home... Must be out partying. His alarm went off, letting him know of his game tommorrow as he was thinking of his mom, making him jump. He checked, it read "DND, 8PM ON SATURDAY!"
"... Did I fuck up the alarm?" He muttered, making sure and sure enough it was set to now. Confused, he continued to work on his food. A simple, easy and delicious ham, cheese and ketchup sandwich. He was picky and this was one of the only things he had he'd eat that was here... He realized he may need to go to the store before the game to get some drinks and food, that way he wouldnt have to force food he didn't like down his throat.
Taking bites of it, he looked out the window and sighed, staring at the moon. It was near a full one... Beautiful. There was even a bird flying in front of it, it was like a picture perfect moment. Quickly pulling out his phone and snapping a picture, he closed the photo without really looking at it closely. After finishing the sandwich, he headed out, and decided to walk around… 'I mean hey, it's close to Kuoh Academy and in the city. That means its gonna be safe to walk around.' Alexander thought, knowing he was lying to himself.
Unsure of where he was going, Alex just continued on, walking aimlessly. He didn't have anything to do beside his game tomorrow… That and the store. "So I should grab bread, eggs… Definitely some bacon… Oh wait, I heard the Japanese don't put there eggs in the fridge… Or is the other way around? Shit. If they don't, it'll taste weird… Fuck."
Muttering to himself, Alex eventually found himself stumbling into the park near the Academy. It was beautiful and Alex wished he came more often, missing nature, but he turned his nose up after a minute. "Ew nevermind… It's too humid… God it's so weird here…
He stopped, noticing a girl, roughly around his age. She had long black hair that went down to her mid-back, a roundish face with white, button-up shirt with black trim and finishing off with a black skirt that was just above her knees. She seemed to be looking at the sky, eyes slightly narrowed. At first, Alexander wasn't sure whether or not to approach. Sure, she was hot and had some massive tits but he didn't want to seem like a creep… But the prospect of going to sleep and knowing he'd wake up at 4am and the subsequent boredom drove him forward, moving towards the girl and sitting beside her as she turned and looked at him.
She looked semi-interested, semi-'what is this thing here'. A look of disgust and for some reason he felt… Hurt? He normally didn't feel anything when people said stuff about him, he was just… There. He couldn't explain it, he just usually didn't feel anything often, especially when they talked about him directly. Just didn't affect him, but this cut deep. He felt the want to impress her… No, the need.
"So hey, I'm um… Alexander, I thought you looked lonely and uh… Wanted to just chat." Alex said this, confused at how he felt, smiling nervously. He's been alone with girls before, usually as they considered him the friend-zone, not that he tried to get with them, but this just felt different. "You seem to be struggling… Is this better?" her voice was like silk to his ears as he blinked, hearing english in the latter of the sentence.
"You… Know English? Not that it's bad or anything… heh... Just more um… Surprising." he said. 'FUCK! Come on dude! Stop being dumb!' Alex thought this with a dumb smile, as the girl started for a moment, and then laughed slightly. The young man's heart sped up for a moment as the laughter emanated through the park. "Oh, no, I understand. I assume the people you met don't speak fluent English do they? Well I've picked up on a bit. My name's, Yuuma Amano!" her cheerful voice made him smile a little more, her hand extending out as he clasped it, making sure to be gentle and not squeeze it too hard.
"Well Yuuma, what are you doing here? Admiring the stars I assume?" Alex leaned back a little to look up the stars and moon, it sitting roughly center in the sky as it was the dead of night. 'Wait, it's the dead of night, what is she doing out here?' he thought, it rushing into his head. It's like that was pushed to the back of his mind. "Well, the same as you… To get some fresh air, relax and just… Let my mind go free." Yuuma said, noticing the ever so slight shift in his demeanour. It peaked her interest and she stored it in the back of her mind. "But… It's the middle of the night. I mean sure, I did come out for air… But… You know what, nevermind. Sorry, guess I get a little paranoid." "Oh no worries, Alexander-san." she responded, and immediately his face scrunched up as she playfully added 'san' to the end, which a hearty laugh came from her.
"Oh no, don't do that." he said, narrowing his eyes playfully at her as a look of feigned ignorance showed on her face. "What? If there a problem, Alex-kun." the teasing in her voice, and egging on of Alex made him groan, rubbing his face. But a slight tint could be seen as he didn't know what to feel. "Well, we probably should head home, no? It is already 1 in the morning."
Alex snapped out of his stupor and look at her again, eyes widenning. "Wait what!? It's 1?! Shit, I-I gotta go! Uh, you wanna hang out sometime-" "Tomorrow? Around… 11 to 12. Sounds good?" He blinked, not expecting this. He normally made friends and never really hung out. He never could arrange or keep the friendship long enough, it just drifted apart. He hoped this one would be different.
"Y-yeah!" the excitement in his voice could be heard as his eyes lit up and nodded. Yuuma simply giggled, standing up, holding the edges of her skirt down so it couldn't fly up and flash him. "Well then, it's a date!" Yuuma said it happily before pausing, the realization appearing on her face as she feigned a blush and waved her hands a little in front of her embarrassed. "I-I mean, a, um… Hang out! Yeah! Well bye!"
After very awkwardly changing it, she left, walking away quickly. Alex sitting there, blushing a little as well, he simply got up and began to head home. Yuuma, after loosing him, lost the cute, innocent demeanour. Her face turned to a smirk, gears turning in her head. "... I know your there, report." The voice cold, sadistic, without mercy as a female giggled from the shadows. "Hello Raynare. Sorry for disturbing and watching you. It's just... You seemed to be interested in the human and I was curious."
The woman spoke, using the word human in a derogatory manner. "Well," Yuuma started, "well, I see him as a useful pawn to steal the other Sacred Gear we have. He seemed to have some sort of defense against my magic, though, it's not too much. I honestly was just trying to toy with him… But now I'm curious. Why don't… Mess with his memories a little and make him think he met you, hm? I gotta watch the Issei brat… As much as I think we should kill him..."
A sigh was heard from the shadows, "Oh all right, I'll do that… Do at least get to mess with the boy later? He seems like he'd be fun to break a little." a cruel, sadistic tone erupted from her voice, as if wanting to torture him. "... Maybe. Try to get him with us, he could be usual. If not, well… Sure. Now go."
Yuuma then heads off, wondering if she should listen to Azazel or simply destroy him… Choices. She transformed, and flew off, eager to begin the next steps of her plan… All the while, Alexander was heading home, unknowingly being trailed…
